There are lots of student clubs at the university that are quite interesting.
Tips: There was a cultural shift, but UK doesn’t make you feel like that because of the diverse community. You won’t miss out on anything here. Unfortunately, I couldn’t avail any scholarship because I applied late. A lot of my friends did get scholarships up to 100%.
Likes (Student Life): There are a lot of Indian friends you make, so it makes you feel like you’re right at home. I recommend taking student accommodation for this reason. It can be pretty great, in my experience. Plus, there are lots of clubs at the university that are quite interesting. If you’re a cricket fan, you can even play for the university’s team, just like I did.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The teaching faculty consists of more European teachers, and the faculty is accessible upon appointment and quite helpful. I would also say that the coursework is a real asset. When you do that coursework, you grasp all the important concepts, and they are quite helpful during interviews.

The course is very well designed from point of practical skills and knowledge.
Tips: Prepare well for time management and burnout. Network with all types of people for best results. The course is very well designed from point of practical skills and knowledge. A huge amount of self-study is required to be informed for the growth in the course. The internship structure isn't really a thing, and I have to volunteer for internships to gain experience. While my course has active researchers as teachers and covers various families with case studies, the practice aspect could be better. At the Jubilee campus, the cultural events and student bodies work well to ensure that student life is energised and balanced. The Nottingham environment makes for a great experience, and the staff is always around and kind. Every element needed for well-being is available on the campuses.

Great academic exposure and supportive environment for growth.
Tips: Before joining the UoN, I suggest students research their course structure, living expenses, and academic expectations. It's also helpful to connect with current students for firsthand insights. Transitioning to life here is quite challenging and exciting at the same time. From academic style to social interactions, it is a big cultural shift. The classroom environment encourages critical thinking and independent learning, which was very different from my undergraduate experience. Adjusting to the UK's extreme & unpredictable weather and food also took enough time. I didn't avail of any scholarships, but the university offers several merit & need-based options. Many scholarships are listed on the university website, and applying early with a strong personal statement and a good academic record can improve one's chances.

A journey of growth and discovery at UoN.
Tips: My study at Nottingham has turned me into a different person with a lot of skills that I lacked before. I am now more confident. I didn’t receive a scholarship, but my course was totally worth every penny I paid. There are a lot of scholarships available, so make sure to apply for them beforehand so you will benefit. My campus was very beautiful and there are a lot of facilities and sport clubs to indulge in to learn new skills. Overall, I am very much satisfied with my course and the UK has become my second home.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is very supportive and always ready to help. The teaching methods include fun games and activities that make it easy to understand concepts. It's a multicultural experience, which will help you grow and learn new skills. You are assigned with a personal tutor who will help you with all your problems. The professors feel like family and are very sweet.
Dislikes (Safety): Some parts of the city were not safe to go alone, especially at night. There were a lot of incidents of abuse reported. In the campus, you are safe, but if you are walking alone outside the campus, make sure to be in groups. Don't carry too much cash.

A worthy experience, academically rewarding and personally insightful.
Tips: While the city centre is busy, the area around the university is quiet, especially compared to India. Also, choose your accommodation carefully because the walk might be longer than expected. The Masters program is short and intensive, so you might feel like you have too much to cover in a short time. The faculty is very knowledgeable and you can get a thorough insight into your paper. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the country, course and university.

Home away from home, just colder.
Tips: The cultural shift was less than expected, but I am an adaptable person so I was fine. I didn't receive any scholarships unfortunately because I applied through the clearing. The course is quite nice, but I wish the country wasn't as cold as it is during the winter.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is really good and easy to use. The campus is well connected with the rest of the city and it is easy to get buses to and from the University as well as to your accommodation. Compared to other cities, public transportation is relatively cheap.
Dislikes (Value for money): It is quite expensive compared to other universities in the country and also compared to other degrees. It is thrice as expensive for international students compared to home students for this specific course, meanwhile, for other courses it's only twice as expensive.

University of Nottingham- Review
Tips: Make a list of everything you need. Plan out your weekly expenses. Stop covering GBP to INR while buying because it would trouble you and would make you conscious of what you are spending. In reality, you cannot help it. These are the basic things you need. Please try to make sure you study more about the course before applying and look at the disadvantage and advantage as well. Don't get swept up by the beauty of the country.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is always available and easily accessible at any time of the day or night. It's 2 pounds per person but if you buy a group ticket with one or two people, it lessens your expenses and it's better to buy on the app because the ticket would remain for 24 hours.
Dislikes (Internships): Not many internship opportunities during the course. The course does not offer you opportunities per se. It does offer some project-based opportunities though which adds up on your CV but overall there are no hospital-based internships or case studies.

Tapping your potential by leveraging your expertise combined with the strong reputation of ESSEC.
Tips: Stick to your strengths right from the start. Build a strong network and keep important contacts warm. You will be handling multiple areas at once, right from academics to sustenance, and you will need help. Also, plan to learn the local language as soon as possible, as it goes a long way in daily living as well as employment opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): Paris is well-connected, thanks to the public transportation system. The campus is close to the major metro, train and bus lines, playing in the center of the business district and approximately 15 to 20 minutes away from the heart of Paris - city centre. Students can also avail weekly and monthly travel passes conveniently, all operated through mobile apps.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Know that it is important to understand your strengths and stick to them. The reputation and credibility of the university can only attract eyeballs from recruiters and employers, but to stand a strong chance of converting and bagging an open position, one should be clear about the role and industry they want to enter. Also, realise that you may want to change 3 dimensions in your career post MBA - geography, position, industry, and with that view in mind, you can successfully cater to at most 2 of the 3 dimensions. Make the most of it.

The French government gives a 20% to 25% rent subsidy.
Tips: French culture knowledge is essential. Further, scholarships are not widely available, but there is an opportunity for an apprenticeship in France, which pays your college tuition + provides work experience while you study. Incoming students should also know French a bit. The government also pays 20-25% of your rent by giving a subsidy to all students.
Likes (Public transportation): Because it's easily available. Moreover, a great network to travel anywhere across Paris. Also not quite expensive. There is an additional concession for students, which allows us to buy tickets at cheaper rates. The buses, metro, and other trains are timely, and as a result, they rarely run late.
Dislikes (Part time work): French language issue, or else easy access to part-time work. Part-time work can also be done as classes aren't hectic, as well as time-consuming, but working professionally is much more conventional at ESSEC, and students seldom work part-time, preferring freelance work.

Great international experience and lot of options in academics, career, and extra-curriculars.
Tips: Learn as much French as possible before coming to France. Try to have a sanctioned loan letter or enough bank balance from India. You can apply for the Charpak and Eiffel Excellence scholarship. In general, France offers a much more peaceful and safe environment compared to India. People are well-mannered, and cases of racism are very rare. Living in Paris can be much more expensive than living near the ESSEC Campus in Cergy. There are a lot of additional benefits that you can get after coming here. For example, free entry to multiple tourist spots, 50% discount for Travel Navigo Pass, subsidized meals in Crous canteens, and bi-weekly free groceries through distribution of NGOs like Linkee and COP1. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Student Life): ESSEC has a lot of sports, clubs, associations, events. Every month, you can find something happening on the campus. There are lot of parties and cultural events. Associations like ESSEC India organize events during Diwali and Holi. The curriculum is very flexible meaning you can choose your courses and study what you want.
Dislikes (Part time work): Most of the part-time jobs are in French. So, as a non-French speaker, it's really hard to find a job. There are a few part-time jobs available for ESSEC Students, such as Teaching assistant or Research assistant. You can try freelancing outside France.

ESSEC Business School lives up to it's standards and rankings.
Tips: The university has an excellent reputation in France and abroad, thanks to its high rankings. The faculty is top-notch, and there are many opportunities for students to learn and grow. Students need to take advantage of the school's resources and opportunities to make the most of their education.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very easily accessible and convenient. Trains, buses, trams, etc., are well connected via the Imagine Navigo in the entire Île-de-France region, which covers almost the entirety of Paris and surrounding areas. Students under the age of 25 can avail themselves of a student discount on the yearly pass.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave 4 stars for part-time work because of the language barrier for international students. Most of the jobs are French-speaking, and there is no significant culture of part-time jobs among international students here, unlike in the USA, Canada, and the UK.

Great faculty and highly-interactive student life.
Tips: The initial few months can be quite overwhelming but the campus eases you into the day to day activities. The MELT ESSEC is one of the best communities for students. Do attend their trips and parties. Academically speaking, the group work is an immersive experience such for all the students even if you are not interested in the lecture. Personally, I loved the entrepreneurship professor.

ESSEC will empower you to be the best version of yourself.
Tips: Students should know that even though all the courses are in English, you must learn French if you want a competitive post-graduate job opportunity. There are multiple scholarship opportunities available, to avail them you must apply in Round 1. Other than that, an apprenticeship is a great option to fund your living expenses and tuition.
