A short title is A great international learning experience at skema business school
Tips: Students should plan there finance and accommodation and be ready to adopt for different culture and language mainly. overall am satisfied with my course and which helps me in both personal and professional and students should research about scholarships.
Likes (Quality of faculty): In my opinion, the faculty is supportive and approachable, and I enjoy the practical teaching methods and interactive discussions. and I also appreciate the international perspective shared in class which helps me to understand different viewpoint.
Dislikes (Safety): International students need better safety guidance because there is a lot of theft and robbery, and we need help to feel secure and comfortable in a new country. My experience in France has made me more independent, and we need to take care of ourselves.

Studying Abroad: An experience that changes your life
Tips: Living in another country is an extremely important part of studying abroad programs, which is not necessarily a long process. It is good for the development and change of a person's worldview. Living in another country makes a person more tolerant to other countries and their views. At first, it may be hard to get used to a new country and its culture, food, and lifestyle; however, at some point, a person will get accustomed to a new environment and gain confidence. Also, living abroad makes people more responsible, sociable, and independent. Whatever way it is, living abroad is a great experience from both personal and academic perspectives. I do not regret my decision to live abroad since it provides me with many more experiences and opportunities.
Likes (Indian Food): Normally, I like cooking at home since it is relatively cheaper and it allows me to have home-cooked food. On the other hand, I love visiting restaurants every weekend just to experiment with new cuisines and spend some quality time with friends. There are many restaurants providing different cuisines like Indian, Asian, and International foods in the local area. The prices are relatively low, although prices differ with each restaurant. Generally, an average meal costs 12-15 EUR in a restaurant. Thus, I am happy with the food choices provided to me since there are restaurants that provide the kind of food that I eat at home.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is possible to have a part-time job if you plan your schedule well. There are on-campus jobs, though it might be difficult to get a position. Off-campus positions are available in restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, etc. But in order to get an off-campus job, you need to know conversational French. You can earn about 15-20 EUR per hour. However, having a job and doing academic work requires good time management, since studying must come first. On the whole, you will manage to support yourself financially, and you will have work experience, but it may be hard to find a job for non-fluent speakers of French.

Good experience if you’re open to change
Tips: Integration into the culture struggle of job market mainly because of language skills. Besides non-IT roles, all local companies require you to be bilingual. It is advisable to learn the basics before arriving and then continue learning with the classes provided by the business school.
Likes (Internships): Difficult job market- mainly because, in general, there are very less number of jobs, and employers look for language skills as well. In non-IT roles, previous work experience from India doesn't really count. So learning the language becomes mandatory.
Dislikes (Student Life): Difficulty in getting employed after education for Indian students and those who do not speak French. The cost of living in a city such as Paris every day. Cannot integrate themselves fast because of a lack of language proficiency. It is suggested to take part in student activities.

One of the best colleges to learn, innovate, and create memories
Tips: The initial adjustment to a new country is always difficult, but over time, learning the language and getting to know the culture helps ease into life here. There was a scholarship for students who have a GPA of more than 8. I loved the course as it's a bit broad, and I was not limited to joining 1 specific field, it gave me a chance to apply to jobs in multiple domains.
Likes (Public transportation): Paris is one of the most well-connected cities in the world. There are never any issues with public transportation except for occasional strikes. The college is well connected by Bus, tram, metro, and RER. So it's not super difficult to get to college no matter where you stay.
Dislikes (Internships): The tuition fees are justified by the variety of experiences you get as a student. There are a lot of student Clubs, a lot of projects to work on, and the network that we get is amazing! Internships and permanent jobs (CDD, CDI) in France are hard to get because of the language barrier.

SKEMA-Truly global 5 Continents
Tips: Learning the French language is very helpful. There are organisations in India teaching the French language, such as Alliance Française. With knowledge of the French language, it is convenient to find jobs and internships. Language also helps with the integration of students.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are multiple activities and clubs for students to bring out their creative side. The students are encouraged to participate in and organise several activities during the course. The clubs and activities also gives exposure to the students to know several organisations in Europe.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty consists of diverse faculty members who can help students inside the classroom and outside the classroom. The diverse faculty members have diverse industrial backgrounds, which help students gain insights from their experience. There are various industrial tours and seminars arranged by the faculty because of their diverse background and contacts.

Has a good global reputation
Tips: If you're heading to Skema in France, you absolutely have to grind some French before you land. Seriously, do yourself a favor and at least clear the A1 level before arriving. A lot of international students assume they can get by on English, but the reality check hits hard—very few locals speak it outside the classroom, and doing daily stuff like grocery shopping or dealing with paperwork becomes a massive struggle. If you’re planning to look for a part-time gig to cover rent, it’s basically an uphill battle unless your French is completely fluent. You aren't going to land customer-facing roles or casual jobs just speaking English. The biggest reality check, though, is Skema's apprenticeship programs. They talk a lot about these setups, but the brutal truth for international students is that these company-sponsored tracks are pretty much locked down for French citizens or those with specific long-term EU work rights. It completely rules it out as a funding option for most of us, so you definitely shouldn't count on an alternance to pay your tuition.

It is a good college, with great faculty and lot of opportunities for the students.
Tips: You just have to be fully prepared to adapt to a totally different culture and academic system here in Paris. On the plus side, SKEMA does have some solid scholarship options if you actually get your applications in on time, and the campus stays pretty active with sports and cultural stuff. If you're willing to put in the effort to adjust, it's honestly a great spot to get your degree and set up your career.

Experience in SKEMA business school
Tips: Skema has a very good name; if we talk about them, they are here to help you. Eventually you have to put some effort in order to get results, in terms of internships, they will guide you, unlike India, to help you get an internship. Some professors can help you even with that, but it depends upon your skills and your dedication.
Likes (Internships): Look you seriously need to stay on top of the deadlines and get those applications out early if you want a shot. Do that, and you'll actually start getting some replies back. "It also makes a massive difference if you already have some solid work experience back in India. Over here, if you're a master's student without any relevant experience on your resume, just getting an interview is a total uphill battle. Oh, and honestly? French is absolute gold. The better your language skills are, the easier it’s going to be to actually land something.
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting part-time work over here is not that easy; they prefer full-time work for like 35 hours, and in bigger brands like McDonald's, it takes time to get into those roles, but it's not that easy, and getting some part-time is very difficult. Part-time gigs usually pay out around 800 to 1,000 euros a month.

Good one, a risk taken once is better than no risk at all!
Tips: French is mandatory; there are no cultural shocks, so you can see multicultural students. One thing from this year is you can see a lot of Indians. If you don't want the Indian community, try to find some public unis; the course is great and multimodal, with not many exams. It's purely practical.
Likes (Safety): The city has a bad name for theft and pickpocketing, but it's a myth; you hear of such incidents, and that's common all over the world. The campus is in a very good place. Next to Dassault and other companies very close to La Défense, there is no threat; the safety is the best.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time work in the city basically requires French, without it's hard to find one very few English speaking jobs but hard to land in one. There's no on-campus jobs very limited hardly find any. Average payout for part time is 11 euros, student must try reaching out to cafes and other places by himself, it's better to have a French part time CV ready.

Learn French before joining. It will open a lot of doors of opportunities.
Tips: Learning French would be a great thing as most of my peers speak French and in order to feel included, it would be great to speak the language. Interacting with the professors is a must; this was a cultural shock for me in a way, as in India it was merely the professor who talks and students listen and ask questions if they did not understand a specific content and not question the professors or even disagree with them. I received a merit based scholarship from the school itself.

Tips: They have 8 different campuses located in different continents of the world and each specialization is taught in a particular campus so it is a great way to enjoy an international educational experience. If you do the MiM program in the first year you are allowed to take a gap year which enables you to do internships and right after your gap year, you are allowed to do an exchange semester in one of the partner universities of Skema which comprises around 300 options to choose from across the globe. Courses are taught purely in English and language courses are also offered as part of the curriculum. Different sports clubs and various internal associations are available so to network well be a member of as many associations as possible. At home worldwide and Internationally diverse.
Tips: International adaptability is a key skill. Student life is not just about academics, but networking and communication plays a key role. Take part in all the corporate events conducted by the school as it adds up a lot of value. I have never felt that my university is just a place for academics but actually a place where learning meets fun. I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Academics, sports, and extracurricular activities all contribute to a complete student life, and Skema's policies support this well. While academics are a strong asset of Skema, the diversity in sports clubs and associations also adds value. I was also a member of the Skema Student Committee.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The faculty is a mix of international professionals many of whom are employed by major global corporations and come as visiting professors. This provides excellent learning opportunities and networking with these mentors is key.

Securing an internship early is challenging, especially for non-European passport holders.
Tips: Be prepared for racism particularly in Paris if you are from an Asian background. Students with an engineering background will find the concepts easier to grasp. I recommend completing French language courses up to A2/B1 level before coming here.
Likes (Safety): The campus is located in a safe and secure area. It can be accessible by public transport. Find housing in a safe area and avoid individuals acting as housing agents. Many newcomers to France have been victims of housing scams.
Dislikes (Internships): The talent and career department isn't as helpful as other similar business schools. Securing an internship early is challenging especially for non-European passport holders. Finding an internship in a non-teaching field can be difficult without speaking French.

Likes (Safety): France is considered as one of the safest countries in the world. It's usually safe to go out even at night. I had great experience but some people around me have had an experience with pickpocketers. You have to be cautious around the touristic areas.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult for the students who don't speak French. Also, not many part-time jobs are available for students as their schedules might clash with the work hours. The college also provides some internship options though part-time is usually manageable.

The university is great and the faculty is experienced and talented.
Tips: Students should learn French to get jobs and prepare the materials for the class assignment. You can get scholarships if you are doing a two-year Master's programme. There are also early bird discounts that are available when you apply for the universities. The early bird is normally available to everyone.
Likes (Quality of faculty): As all the faculty members are the top executives of the company, their teaching is valuable as it is with experience. Most of the teachers have their own way of teaching, some start directly with the assignment or use cases, and some basically start with theory and give you assignments to do.
Dislikes (Internships): For internships, the students are required to speak French to get selected. Internships are available and there are many opportunities but one needs the minimum level of French, B1 level to get the job. The silver lining is that one can apply to other European countries.

Amazing student life with lots of excitement and experiences.
Tips: The most important thing is language. Students aiming for France for higher studies should learn French. This will help them be it with socializing and getting part time jobs, internships and full time, etc. I availed a scholarship of 3000 and there is one government scholarship that one student from India can attain. Other than that there are college scholarship which depends on the previous marks and all.
Likes (Student Life): The college life was amazing. The campus is in front of the French River. The campus building is small comparatively but being in Paris it was fine. We had different clubs and used to have parties every Thursday. There are international student clubs, clubs for finance and clubs for co-curricular activities.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Well, there are not many Indian food options around the campus and some of them are very expensive so I generally just eat at a fast food chain. I generally prefer cooking myself because it's cost effective and cheaper than eating at the restaurants, that too in Paris which is very expensive for a student.

A great learning learning experience in life
Tips: My master's studies in France were really enriching on both personal and academic levels. I faced certain cultural differences when I first arrived in France, but eventually adjusted and became more independent. I didn’t get any scholarships. On the whole, I am quite happy with my university and my program. My time spent in France provided me with an international experience.
Likes (Safety): Safety Rating: 5 stars The reason behind my five-star rating of safety is that I always feel secure within and outside the university. The university has facilities that keep students safe, and there is a peaceful and student-friendly environment in the city. During my visit, I did not come across any serious safety problems and could freely roam around the city.
Dislikes (Internships): The score of one for the internship is due to the low level of assistance in terms of searching for and applying for internships. The students need to be proactive and take care of the process on their own. There are internships related to the program; however, finding those that fit the course might not be easy at all.

It was good experience over all
Tips: Look, MBS is a really solid business school, but you absolutely cannot just wing it—you need to do your homework on the specific program you're choosing and have a realistic game plan for what comes after graduation. The biggest reality check you're going to get here is the language barrier. If you don't speak French, or at least try to pick it up fast, you are going to struggle to build a proper social circle outside the international bubble, and finding a decent part-time job to support yourself becomes a massive uphill battle. Local shops and cafes won't hire you if you can't talk to the customers. But honestly, if you can get past that hurdle, the overall environment in Montpellier is incredible. It’s an amazing, vibrant student city with a great vibe, so it's a genuinely fantastic place to live and study as long as you come prepared.

Tips: Students should learn French. Also, if they are solely relying on part-time work, it will likely be difficult, as it's challenging to find part-time jobs even in English. There are limited opportunities on campus. It's always best to familiarise yourself with the language of the country you're going to.
Likes (Student Life): As the campus is really good, there are a lot of opportunities for celebrating festivals and everything. The people are very supportive, and the campus has extreme safety. The faculty is also excellent, and they are friendly and supportive, guiding students towards well-being.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are not many opportunities for part-time work, as the language barrier comes between. Few opportunities are available on campus. You will be able to get a job in the city Centre, but with only a few chances, as the locals are targeting those.

Unforgettable experience in friendly environment college
Tips: The friendly atmosphere will make anyone feel welcome. The college offers good infrastructure for student life. It changed me a lot in every aspect. There was a very cooperative and friendly environment that never led me to feel alone. I got enormous benefits from language trip. I got two years of scholarship degree in France at the master's degree level. I am extremely satisfied with my university. This is an excellent way to meet new people, make friends and develop new skills.

Historical college, Great alumni network, and amazing diversity.
Tips: Nothing specific to know overall it's a good campus. They are moving to a new location as the school size is now small for the total number of students on the campus. The diversity of students and teachers is rich. Keep yourself open to exploring new initiatives and experiences. It's a great school and a super nice calm city to do your studies.
Likes (Safety): It's a really safe city because of its small size, friendly local accessible transport. While some places are more high-risk, the city provides an overall secure environment. It's a safe place to work, study, and party, with cool places and a lively neighbourhood. You will enjoy your time in Montpellier.
Dislikes (Part time work): Montpellier is a small city and has a significant French speaking population. Proficiency in French is required for most of the part-time jobs available as it involve regular interaction with the customer and within the place. And relatively it has fewer jobs and the number of students is really high in the city.

Part time availability is less but studying in France is an unique experience.
Tips: Students from India are surely up for huge cultural shock though the journey is memorable starting from experiencing French culture, food and heritage. Interacting with students from different countries and getting to know them was enriching and worth the effort. I was awarded charpak Masters scholarship. It included an allowance of 700 euros/month and reimbursement of part of tuition fees. Overall it was a good experience.
Likes (Public transportation): The bus and tram stop are right in front of the campus's main gate and less than a minute away. Travel is convenient with good frequency except on Sunday. Monthly and yearly passes are available for students which are cost-effective, bus and tram tickets cost 1euro/hr otherwise in Montpellier (also the public transport is free on weekends for everyone).
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part time opportunities were limited, almost none ( paid one's). Though quite a handful of off-campus opportunities are available to students knowing fluent French, it is almost impossible to get one without knowing the language. Managing the part-time along with the academics might get quite difficult during the first semester as the schedule is paced however it is not the case with second/third semesters. The payment is done on an hourly basis and in most cases, minimum wage is paid for students ( also the tax is deducted as well from the same ).

The most diverse business school.
Tips: I have no doubt that this business school is not your regular B-school, it's very diverse. Every semester exchange students come and with them, they bring their culture and knowledge on diverse topics and this is what makes this college unique. There are students from more than 50 countries and the city also is very diverse. The sunshine here is good and the college is near the beach. Parties here are fun and you'll definitely enjoy being a student here. Faculty is good and we also have visiting faculty members here having expertise in their own subject matter so it's a good thing in disguise plus they focus on practical knowledge while keeping in view whatever is written in the books. I've studied finance here and I'll say that is good, I've learned a lot in the classroom and while working on projects and case studies related to global Fintech companies. So, if you are a B-student, this place is for you. Also, International student department here is very helpful, they'll help you out with documentation and never make you feel alienated at any point.
Likes (Internships): Internship opportunities here at MS are good. This college has a name here and this can help you with securing a good job here in France. The professors also help you with getting internships. It's one of the perks of studying in an institution that ranks amongst the top 12 institutions in France.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's exceptionally hard to get part time work here in France. To be honest, you need to have a good understanding of French and should be able to speak it fluently to get part time work here. So, make sure that if you are not proficient enough don't take part-time work in consideration of your total value of money that you'll be spending here but if you can find some part time jobs here like being a language tutor then you're lucky and you can take that. Also because there aren't many students aspiring to take those jobs.

Academically and cultural diverse business school.
Tips: There is a lot to consider with cultural aspect as city is beautiful and filled with many historically monuments along with celebrations during Christmas eve. There are scholarships available for early birds which should be utilized. Students can ask for help from administration and faculty members as all are very accommodative while giving extra slot times available for students who need extra guidance for curriculum or job related aspects as well. Course and everything else is worth the money invested.
Likes (Safety): City and school both are safe considering security and all helps available from administration. School being on outskirts of the city, needs transportation on frequent basis with average time from city centre to school of 30 minutes. There are many campus accommodation available as well. School located on outer region but with residential houses nearby with 1-3 kms with a walking distance of just 2 tram stop.
Dislikes (Internships): There are ample of guidance available for people who are seeking for internships along with many jobs and work fair to connect employers with students. Only drawback is to be fluent in language gets only clearance for most of the internships. Internships in France are majorly for people of marketing, fashion and AI based along with being very frequent offers to graduates. Also, for every other subjects, jobs and internships are available on broader level in Urban regions of France like Lyon, Nice, Paris etc.

Rewarding if you are willing to go an extra mile
Tips: France is altogether a different experience for any international student. As they completely have different cultures, social dialects, and food. It initially might be difficult for students to adjust but will be really rewarding if you go through this period. Please learn French to have an amazing time and get equal pay and job opportunities.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is very difficult for international students studying here in France to get good part-time job opportunities. As most employers prefer candidates who have the knowledge and speak fluent French language. The only job available for us is at restaurants, delivery agents etc.

Superb, friendly people and multi cultural students
Tips: I must recommend learning French language before coming. Do not expect high paid part-time jobs and skilled work. Overall people are good here. A big disadvantage is the local language is French. Academic studies are good, more into practical and assignments. For better jobs go to English friendly countries in EU.
Dislikes (Part time work): Language problem is there. There are not many international organizations, IT Offices and many things. Transportation and whether conditions are okay compared to Paris. Do not expect high paid part-time and full-time jobs in Montpellier. If you need a better job just look outside of France.

Beautiful campus with cultural diversity
Tips: If you are from English speaking country and you are not able to speak French then be ready for struggle. From a behavioural point of view I feel it is necessary to assess at every point in time. I am from a rural background and people usually judge in India but here I realised there is no need to judge people just live and let them live.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I have completed my schooling, Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D. and all are from different universities in India. But I never found such faculty on a personal as well professional level. They will not make you cram things but rather emphasise on understanding.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are two problems, one is the language French, if you know French then it is easy to get part-time job. If not then it is very hard. Even if you got a part time job then for M.Sc. course there is no provision for part-time job. However, I am not sure what is the average pay out.

The best aspect is the Public Transportation.
Tips: French people are very welcoming and even though there were cultural differences but I did not have any issues regarding it. There are multiple scholarships offered by French government such as housing allowance. These usually make up to 40% of your monthly rent. The university is very good and the courses offered here are very practical and up-to-date. However french language is very much necessary as English is rarely spoken and supported.
Likes (Public transportation): There are multiple transportation options. TAM and buses are the backbones. There are four Tam lines and many bus routes which cover the city very well. They are very systematic and are always on the time. The monthly pass costs about 28 euros per month also it will be free from 2024.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Very limited options in Indian food and very less to no options in vegetarian section. Also, availability of Indian food items for cooking yourself is from only one shop and that is also expensive. The local food options are somewhat affordable but near the college options are limited. The college has a very good canteen but it is slightly expensive.

Overall the college is good
Tips: Students must know that Montpellier Business School provides a lot of opportunities and services but you need to stay open-minded and grab them yourself. There are several problems in the curriculum that I feel. The school tries to teach too much in very less time and according to me, the curriculum is not very well designed rest it depends on one's skills.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is considerably good in the city. Well-networked and little problem is that buses stop working a bit early at night otherwise its good. The trams go well about everywhere and there are buses covering the streets of the city. Also, the transportation covers a little area outside the city like adjoining villages and cities.
Dislikes (Part time work): The ratio of students to jobs in the city is not good. There are too many students and very less jobs. And since it is a student city there are not many options for jobs. I think the students only do jobs when they really have to otherwise it is difficult to maintain having a part time with the studies in the city.

Learning French would help in Part-Time.
Tips: Learn French before coming here. The school environment is very welcoming and hospitable. But if you want to have part-time job then you need language. And for the internship, the school doesn't help at all. They have contacts and years of establishment but are not helpful in internships or jobs.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty members and professors are helpful and inclusive. They are very approachable and cordial. The departments were always helpful and would try their best to accommodate. If any doubt or questions arise they are always present. I was the class representative so collectively we had a voice.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time jobs are not that feasible as compared to other English speaking countries because of the language barrier. For part time jobs the requirement is French. Since most of the students don't meet the prerequisite of knowing the language, they are unable to find a part time job.

My college is triple accredited with really supportive staff.
Tips: I strongly recommend studying French language for better job opportunities and communication. Because most of them here don't know English. They always prefer French because it's one of the widely spoken languages like German and Spanish. Also, the city, is really expensive if you're planning to study here.
Likes (Student Life): The quality of living is awesome. I liked French people. All are really supportive people. And the public transportations and health care systems are really appreciative. Overall France is offering good quality of life and accommodation facilities.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's hard to get part time jobs in France especially for international students like us from India. All are hiring people who know the French language well. I strongly recommend people to learn french at least B2 level then you've a chance of a part-time opportunity with contract.

Tips: In France, it would be good to know French (B2-C1 level). It is a business school so have an idea about companies and current trends. The path that ambitious people should definitely try in life.
Tips: French is necessary to survive in France and Montpellier is a student city so everyone and everything is simple and happy. It is all about adjusting to a new culture and new country. But people are very helpful and 3/4th population is made up of students.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is easy and cheap for students and is available throughout the week. And it is very safe. There are students always traveling and the people are helpful in case you do not understand the way. Also there are public cycles for those who choose a healthy lifestyle.
Dislikes (Part time work): For part time jobs usually French is the language that is mandatory. Finding a part time is not as easy because of the schedule of the school. English is used all over the city but French is needed for jobs. This is true for every different country you go to study in Europe.

Overall awesome college as they are giving respect and time.
Tips: French language is important for studying at any college in France. So better take the basics of french before coming here. Having knowledge in French language is really efficient to interact with natives cause most of them are not well in English.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculties are good at teaching and very experienced professionals in multiple domains. Also professors are really friendly and ready to resolve all basic doubts and willing to help the students at any time without any hesitation. Also, there teaching is subject-oriented.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's hard to get part-time jobs without French language proficiency for international students like us. Part-time jobs are not easily accessible in single portal. I recommend this personally to international students from India. So take basics of the language at least.
