Good experience if you’re open to change
Tips: Integration into the culture struggle of job market mainly because of language skills. Besides non-IT roles, all local companies require you to be bilingual. It is advisable to learn the basics before arriving and then continue learning with the classes provided by the business school.
Likes (Internships): Difficult job market- mainly because, in general, there are very less number of jobs, and employers look for language skills as well. In non-IT roles, previous work experience from India doesn't really count. So learning the language becomes mandatory.
Dislikes (Student Life): Difficulty in getting employed after education for Indian students and those who do not speak French. The cost of living in a city such as Paris every day. Cannot integrate themselves fast because of a lack of language proficiency. It is suggested to take part in student activities.

One of the best colleges to learn, innovate, and create memories
Tips: The initial adjustment to a new country is always difficult, but over time, learning the language and getting to know the culture helps ease into life here. There was a scholarship for students who have a GPA of more than 8. I loved the course as it's a bit broad, and I was not limited to joining 1 specific field, it gave me a chance to apply to jobs in multiple domains.
Likes (Public transportation): Paris is one of the most well-connected cities in the world. There are never any issues with public transportation except for occasional strikes. The college is well connected by Bus, tram, metro, and RER. So it's not super difficult to get to college no matter where you stay.
Dislikes (Internships): The tuition fees are justified by the variety of experiences you get as a student.
There are a lot of student Clubs, a lot of projects to work on, and the network that we get is amazing!
Internships and permanent jobs (CDD, CDI) in France are hard to get because of the language barrier.

SKEMA-Truly global
5 Continents
Tips: Learning the French language is very helpful. There are organisations in India teaching the French language, such as Alliance Française. With knowledge of the French language, it is convenient to find jobs and internships. Language also helps with the integration of students.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are multiple activities and clubs for students to bring out their creative side. The students are encouraged to participate in and organise several activities during the course. The clubs and activities also gives exposure to the students to know several organisations in Europe.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty consists of diverse faculty members who can help students inside the classroom and outside the classroom. The diverse faculty members have diverse industrial backgrounds, which help students gain insights from their experience. There are various industrial tours and seminars arranged by the faculty because of their diverse background and contacts.

It’s really good clg and u can transfer to other Skema each semester
Tips: You have to know French completely else it’s really hard to survive to get part time or full time job in clg English only in France after studies internship is compulsory to gain completion certificates and students from different countries help to mingle and know about their culture and food habits
Likes (Safety): It’s really safe country u can be in safer zone transportation is available for 24 hrs u can do part time or full time and return home any time , France is really good for the environment and you can get some good food and drinks from there campus if you’re not feeling well you can go out to eat with your friends
Dislikes (Indian Food): Cooking ourself saves lot of money instead of eating outside since it’s Paris is most expensive monthly once or twice u can explore French Chinese cuisine
Gard du nord in Paris u can explore all Indian foods during clg careen food will be also good

Has a good global reputation
Tips: If you're heading to Skema in France, you absolutely have to grind some French before you land. Seriously, do yourself a favor and at least clear the A1 level before arriving. A lot of international students assume they can get by on English, but the reality check hits hard—very few locals speak it outside the classroom, and doing daily stuff like grocery shopping or dealing with paperwork becomes a massive struggle.
If you’re planning to look for a part-time gig to cover rent, it’s basically an uphill battle unless your French is completely fluent. You aren't going to land customer-facing roles or casual jobs just speaking English.
The biggest reality check, though, is Skema's apprenticeship programs. They talk a lot about these setups, but the brutal truth for international students is that these company-sponsored tracks are pretty much locked down for French citizens or those with specific long-term EU work rights. It completely rules it out as a funding option for most of us, so you definitely shouldn't count on an alternance to pay your tuition.

It is a good college, with great faculty and lot of opportunities for the students.
Tips: You just have to be fully prepared to adapt to a totally different culture and academic system here in Paris. On the plus side, SKEMA does have some solid scholarship options if you actually get your applications in on time, and the campus stays pretty active with sports and cultural stuff. If you're willing to put in the effort to adjust, it's honestly a great spot to get your degree and set up your career.

Experience in SKEMA business school
Tips: Skema has a very good name; if we talk about them, they are here to help you. Eventually you have to put some effort in order to get results, in terms of internships, they will guide you, unlike India, to help you get an internship. Some professors can help you even with that, but it depends upon your skills and your dedication.
Likes (Internships): Look you seriously need to stay on top of the deadlines and get those applications out early if you want a shot. Do that, and you'll actually start getting some replies back. "It also makes a massive difference if you already have some solid work experience back in India. Over here, if you're a master's student without any relevant experience on your resume, just getting an interview is a total uphill battle. Oh, and honestly? French is absolute gold. The better your language skills are, the easier it’s going to be to actually land something.
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting part-time work over here is not that easy; they prefer full-time work for like 35 hours, and in bigger brands like McDonald's, it takes time to get into those roles, but it's not that easy, and getting some part-time is very difficult. Part-time gigs usually pay out around 800 to 1,000 euros a month.

Good one, a risk taken once is better than no risk at all!
Tips: French is mandatory; there are no cultural shocks, so you can see multicultural students. One thing from this year is you can see a lot of Indians. If you don't want the Indian community, try to find some public unis; the course is great and multimodal, with not many exams. It's purely practical.
Likes (Safety): The city has a bad name for theft and pickpocketing, but it's a myth; you hear of such incidents, and that's common all over the world. The campus is in a very good place. Next to Dassault and other companies very close to La Défense, there is no threat; the safety is the best.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time work in the city basically requires French, without it's hard to find one very few English speaking jobs but hard to land in one. There's no on-campus jobs very limited hardly find any. Average payout for part time is 11 euros, student must try reaching out to cafes and other places by himself, it's better to have a French part time CV ready.

Learn French before joining. It will open a lot of doors of opportunities.
Tips: Learning French would be a great thing as most of my peers speak French and in order to feel included, it would be great to speak the language. Interacting with the professors is a must; this was a cultural shock for me in a way, as in India it was merely the professor who talks and students listen and ask questions if they did not understand a specific content and not question the professors or even disagree with them. I received a merit based scholarship from the school itself.

A rigorous and globally enriching academic experience.
Tips: They have 8 different campuses located in different continents of the world and each specialization is taught in a particular campus so it is a great way to enjoy an international educational experience. If you do the MiM program in the first year you are allowed to take a gap year which enables you to do internships and right after your gap year, you are allowed to do an exchange semester in one of the partner universities of Skema which comprises around 300 options to choose from across the globe. Courses are taught purely in English and language courses are also offered as part of the curriculum. Different sports clubs and various internal associations are available so to network well be a member of as many associations as possible.
Last but not least, classes can vary between 8 am to 8 pm but in a day, maximum lecture hours would be 4 to 4.5 hours allowing you to develop other personal skills.

At home worldwide and Internationally diverse.
Tips: International adaptability is a key skill. Student life is not just about academics, but networking and communication plays a key role. Take part in all the corporate events conducted by the school as it adds up a lot of value. I have never felt that my university is just a place for academics but actually a place where learning meets fun. I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Academics, sports, and extracurricular activities all contribute to a complete student life, and Skema's policies support this well. While academics are a strong asset of Skema, the diversity in sports clubs and associations also adds value. I was also a member of the Skema Student Committee.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The faculty is a mix of international professionals many of whom are employed by major global corporations and come as visiting professors. This provides excellent learning opportunities and networking with these mentors is key.

Securing an internship early is challenging, especially for non-European passport holders.
Tips: Be prepared for racism particularly in Paris if you are from an Asian background. Students with an engineering background will find the concepts easier to grasp. I recommend completing French language courses up to A2/B1 level before coming here.
Likes (Safety): The campus is located in a safe and secure area. It can be accessible by public transport. Find housing in a safe area and avoid individuals acting as housing agents. Many newcomers to France have been victims of housing scams.
Dislikes (Internships): The talent and career department isn't as helpful as other similar business schools. Securing an internship early is challenging especially for non-European passport holders. Finding an internship in a non-teaching field can be difficult without speaking French.

A proper international experience.
Tips: I have been to Europe before so cultural shock was not a thing for me. But if someone is aiming for France, he/she must know French. I didn't get any scholarships but there are several scholarships and government aid available. Overall it was a good experience.
Likes (Safety): France is considered as one of the safest countries in the world. It's usually safe to go out even at night. I had great experience but some people around me have had an experience with pickpocketers. You have to be cautious around the touristic areas.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult for the students who don't speak French. Also, not many part-time jobs are available for students as their schedules might clash with the work hours. The college also provides some internship options though part-time is usually manageable.

Skema makes sure to give you the top quality education and knowledge.
Tips: Students should know that there is obviously a cultural shift, but not that big. Speaking basic French is a must to survive outside the university campus. You can also get an early bird scholarship. Work related to the government is a bit slow, so you need to stay on your toes and keep constantly following up.

The university is great and the faculty is experienced and talented.
Tips: Students should learn French to get jobs and prepare the materials for the class assignment. You can get scholarships if you are doing a two-year Master's programme. There are also early bird discounts that are available when you apply for the universities. The early bird is normally available to everyone.
Likes (Quality of faculty): As all the faculty members are the top executives of the company, their teaching is valuable as it is with experience. Most of the teachers have their own way of teaching, some start directly with the assignment or use cases, and some basically start with theory and give you assignments to do.
Dislikes (Internships): For internships, the students are required to speak French to get selected. Internships are available and there are many opportunities but one needs the minimum level of French, B1 level to get the job. The silver lining is that one can apply to other European countries.

A wonderful stepping stone for a brighter future.
Tips: Students should know that there's a lot of work that you have to do even if you go home to complete your assignments. There is no campus placement as such. The university will just guide you for internships but you're on your own. I'm pretty satisfied with the university.
Likes (Student Life): There are a lot of clubs and communities that are there at the campus. They organise various events that you can participate in, which can be both academic as well as social. Most college days you are going to be busy. If you are free explore the city with your friends.
Dislikes (Internships): Finding internships related to your coursework is very hard in the first year since you're doing a generalised course for the 1st year. I had to find my internship so did my friends so try to find an internship by yourself.

Amazing student life with lots of excitement and experiences.
Tips: The most important thing is language. Students aiming for France for higher studies should learn French. This will help them be it with socializing and getting part time jobs, internships and full time, etc. I availed a scholarship of 3000 and there is one government scholarship that one student from India can attain. Other than that there are college scholarship which depends on the previous marks and all.
Likes (Student Life): The college life was amazing. The campus is in front of the French River. The campus building is small comparatively but being in Paris it was fine. We had different clubs and used to have parties every Thursday. There are international student clubs, clubs for finance and clubs for co-curricular activities.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Well, there are not many Indian food options around the campus and some of them are very expensive so I generally just eat at a fast food chain. I generally prefer cooking myself because it's cost effective and cheaper than eating at the restaurants, that too in Paris which is very expensive for a student.

Good University and a great transportation facilities.
Tips: Students should know that there is huge cultural shift, as French people do a lot of things different than us, one of which is their winner circle is really small. Sometimes you feel more like a colleagues/classmates rather than a friend. I got the excellence scholarship at Skema, I got it just by I had good grades in my Bachelors and a some professional experience. The school is great, the teachers are really helpful and possess great knowledge, you'll get all the tools for your learning, but the only con is if you're a foreigner than its a relatively hard task to land a job because of all the legalities involved.
Likes (Safety): The city is very safe, and they have night buses and people are always ready to help, if they see you in trouble they come to the rescue. The police are always patrolling and are always active. Although there are a few areas where you have to be a little extra cautious.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): As we are not European passport holders, for us to work in Europe we need the company to sponsor us, and that's the cost that very few companies will be willing to take. But a lot of people landed a job it's a matter of time and it tests your patience.

Satisfying international experience and a wonderful university to learn many things.
Tips: You must be at least B1 level in French before you decide to study in France, even though the courses are in English you must know French to get internships and full time offers easily. For international students there are numerous scholarships available (like Eiffel scholarships, etc. ). The deadline for these scholarships ends early, so one must be vigilant to apply for these scholarships before the deadline. I am satisfied with the course and country. The best thing about SKEMA is its international mobility, you can change campuses in different countries very easily.

Strong academics, limited campus life but rich in growth and discovery.
Tips: One of the most important things to be aware of before coming here is the language barrier. Even if your course is taught in English. Learning Italian is essential; you will have to use it almost every day to navigate your life in Italy, and especially for part-time work, knowing Italian is a must. The cultural transition is a mix of excitement and challenge. There is definitely a huge shift from India, from classrooms to the overall pace of life. It can feel a little bit isolating at first with limited campus life and the language difference, but over time, with friends, exploration of the cities and adapting to local customs, it starts feeling like home. There are a number of scholarships available, including regional ones. If you are selected, the fees will be waived off and also receive around 7000 euros in general and around 9000 euros if you are a female in STEM, as a 20% extra is issued if you are a female in STEM courses to cover your living expenses. The overall experience is very good and recommended. The academic experience is good, and Italy in general has a lot of experiences to offer in terms of culture, history and travel. There are Erasmus programs wherein you can study a semester or two at partner universities in Europe or other countries.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is well connected by public transport like metro, buses, trams and trains. Buses are almost 24/7 available. There are annual metrobus cards available for 250 euros per year or at a discount of 130 euros per year if you are eligible for a scholarship. The card can be used for all types of available transport within a particular zone in Rome.
Dislikes (Student Life): Unlike campuses in India, there isn't really a central campus experience here. You typically go to classes, interact with classmates and return. While there are events and competitions, most of them are in Italian, which can feel quite accessible for international students. There are clubs and student communities, but information about them isn't well communicated. You often have to search explicitly and try to find it out; there isn't much visibility otherwise.

There's a language barrier and fewer companies and opportunities.
Tips: Poor college life because of a language barrier. Most English-taught courses' campus is on the outskirts, making the university less enjoyable for international students. I have a merit scholarship that covers my entire tuition. I am satisfied with the university only because it offered me a scholarship. If not, I would join/prefer other countries.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): It is easier to immigrate and settle in Italy compared to other countries like the UK and the US. This country is a good place to retire, health improves, and the culture is generous. There are no major complaints except for the Schengen travel being hampered because of the longer wait time for a residence permit every year.
Dislikes (Internships): It's done by self/minimal guidance from the university. There's a language barrier and fewer companies and opportunities. It's difficult to find an internship relevant to your field, so I usually apply outside of Italy or in my home country. I'm currently working for an Indian company part-time remotely while I study. It's easier to manage both that way.

Great place for studies and research.
Tips: The Italian education system is way different from the Indian education system and is one of the toughest in the world. Being a student in Italy, learning the Italian language is a compulsory thing to do because it is one of the greatest barriers to break for easy survival. Once you are off the campus, you can hardly find someone who speaks English. Here, the professors have excellent knowledge of the subjects they teach and are always available if we need any help. They expect us to have a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts, which is particularly important during lectures. There are various scholarships available for international students from the government and the university. The students have to meet certain criteria set by the university in order to get a scholarship. During my Master's degree, I received a scholarship of around 5600 euros per year from the government. I obtained a Special Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the School of Aerospace Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome and earning this degree has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Likes (Value for money): In general, education in Italy is quite affordable. The tuition fee I paid for my Master's degree was around 1440 euros per year, which is significantly less expensive when compared with the tuition fee of the universities in the USA, Canada or the UK. At the same time, the quality of education offered here is very high.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are very few Indian restaurants in Rome, and the food is expensive compared to other cuisines. The taste of Indian food here is not even close to the ones we find in India. In some restaurants, the quality of food is very poor. They store leftover food in refrigerators and use it for multiple days. I have tried almost all the Indian restaurants in Rome and have not been satisfied with the food there. I mostly prefer cooking my own food.
