College was a fun rollercoaster ride filled with emotions
Tips: The culture is SMU is pretty good, although the course can be a bit hectic as Bachelors and Masters are two different things. But it is something that you will adapt to soon. The college promotes mental health and tries to make it less hectic for students.
Likes (Indian Food): The Indian food here is very expensive and it is better to bring home the ingredients and cook the food as everything you eat at a restaurant is 10 times more expensive than what would you cook in the house. Overall the groceries in Dallas are not that expensive.
Dislikes (Safety): The problem is that there are some homeless people problem in Dallas, but the campus security is tight and there is no room for error. But it is generally advised to stay at your home at night as there could be instances of name calling or harassment which you should stay away from.

Tips: Before joining RIT, students should be aware of various things, including internship opportunities, living expenses, university faculty, and the program outcome. Professors help get RA/TA positions, and that helps a student's profile stand out. There are many on-campus jobs available, including RAS and TAS, that students can apply for through the college's online portals. The professors are helpful, too. The university does a good job of letting students know about available jobs. In addition, the research experience you get as an RA or TA gives you an edge when you're applying for internships.
Dislikes (Internships): The university has portals where students can apply for internships. The university helps students with their applications and with resume building. There are also research assistantships and teaching assistantships available for students, and this research experience helps them with their future careers. Internships showcase your profile.

Tips: Stressful academics and apart from this everything will be soothing in the college. Very helpful faculty members and good part-time job opportunities, one more good thing about this university is it offers co-op (CPT) which most of the universities won't support.
