Academic pressure but good people.
Tips: Be prepared to spend the first couple of semesters just grinding and sacrificing your weekends as the academic pressure here is very real and difficult.Great professors and class fellow has made my journey a little calmer. The city offers a lot for the student population and there is a strong Indian community as well.

Tips: The leadership here is strong and the programme seems promising which is a big reason that many international students come here. The weather can get could and some of the places can shut down earlier than expected. Lots of background reading is the norm here and networking sessions and academic fair keep happening on a regular basis.

Tips: I was very excited to come here as I had heard good things and I feel it has lived up to my expectations. Berlin is a student friendly and very happening city but academics are taken equally seriously here. Work experience adds value both to your admission as well as for job hunting and knowing some German will make it easier to break communication barriers. Dedicated professors who are happy to help out whenever needed.

It is good and optimistic with a lot of room for exploration.
Tips: The lifestyle becomes self dependent and more active than that in India. There is more freedom and flexibility regarding classes, credit, examinations, and time management. I did not avail any scholarships but there are a few scholarships that might be applicable to Indian students. I am happy with my university, course and country.
Likes (Post study jobs): Companies all around Germany usually hire from TUs and covering study visas to job visas is a simple process. Job roles and salary packages usually depend on the previous work experience and specialisation of the individual. The course offers technical subjects as well as management subjects.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are available but not too many. Part time jobs are harder to find since many require German language proficiency. Part-time is easily manageable with studies, depending upon how many credits you take each semester. And the payout is good enough to manage rent and expenses.

Easy going masters journey at TU Berlin.
Tips: Learn German as it goes a long way, and try to use the facilities provided by the university to integrate with the lifestyle. There are different workshops and a career fair organised by the university to get to know about companies, and a chance for networking. For landing a working student job, the estimated duration can be around 6-7 months based on your past work experience and German skills. Even though tuition fees are a bit high, this course is worth it and provides many opportunities.

The university is great, and the course is very practical.
Tips: Language skills are a significant advantage. Scholarship opportunities are available. The university is great, and the course is very practical. Plus, it's Germany, it's obviously a fantastic place to study. Housing can be a challenge, but finding a good place makes all the difference. Also, be prepared for the German winters.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is included in the fees, and with this ticket, I can travel around Germany. It's safe and always running. You can use public transport to go anywhere and save money on tickets. The ticket is easy to use, and it's the best public transportation in Europe.
Dislikes (Value for money): For the value of money, the network you build is the best asset. The people and industry experience are good, the companies are great, most of the faculty come from industry and have a good academic background, the labs are amazing, and the projects will teach you a lot.

The GPE course is not recommended. Consider other courses at the same or a different university.
Tips: Learn as much Deutsch as possible before coming here. Be wary of scams when initially searching for accommodation. There are a few scholarship opportunities such as FEMTEC for women. While I'm satisfied with the post study work options I'm not happy with the course content; it could be more detailed and less stressful especially for a Master's student.
Likes (Safety): Students generally stay in Studenten Wohnheims (STW) after 2 semesters where it is generally safe to stay. Few experiences include racism against Indians especially when you appear shabby sell bad and do not speak German. Learn at least the B1 level before coming here.
Dislikes (Value for money): As a former GPE student I cannot recommend applying here. The 15,000 euros tuition fee is too high considering the limited classes and poor lecture quality which does not meet industry standards. With the current EUR to INR exchange rate, it's approximately 15 Lacs for substandard content. I would recommend exploring other free courses instead.

Best place for engineering and technology.
Tips: Learning German, exploring scholarships through university portals and student associations is recommended. This is a great university for applicants looking to build their careers. Students can find working student and student assistant positions both within the university and at other companies.
Likes (Safety): No one disturbs others. There are many safety measures and facilities available. Everyone is helpful in any situation. There are security personnel in all areas. Each floor has a reception desk, where you can check in if any problems occur. I haven't had any negative experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): For parttime work German language is required in most cases. You can find jobs in restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, warehouses, etc. These typically offer fair pay averaging a minimum of 12-13 euros. However tech jobs can pay over 15 euros.

Tips: Before joining this college, students should I know that it offers a disciplined academic environment where consistency and self initiative matter a lot. The curriculum is structured, but students are expected to manage their time well and stay regular with assignments and classes. Campus life is comfortable and student-oriented, but those who actively participate in activities, club and peer interactions tend to gain much more from the experience. Being open to learning beyond academics really helps.

Tips: There is a fee for some courses here. Not all German universities are free. Language is very important as it plays a pivotal role in integrating with the culture and surviving here. The course curriculum was very well-structured, and the instructors were very knowledgeable. I also liked the diversity of the student body. Students came from all over the world. It is very important to be knowledgeable about these facts before you come here.
Dislikes (Value for money): The staff at the university are very experienced and know exactly what they are doing. They are always reachable and respond quickly within hours. The curriculum is perfectly designed and the teachers come from different parts of the world.

Hands-on course with best professors
Tips: I got to know how the system of jobs and bureaucracy works here. Definitely everyone will experience the cultural shift here when coming from India. I didn't apply for scholarships, but the university sends out emails in case there are scholarships available. I am moderately satisfied with the university. Course-wise, I would say that it is recommended not to take this one because automotive and autonomous driving are completely down. There are very few jobs but more competition.
Likes (Safety): Since it is a small town, nothing much happens. I didn't have any bad experience. Everyone minds their own business. Some people are friendly in the supermarket or at the bus stop. The secretary helps a lot with the bureaucracy-related matters if we are not sure of something.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are very few jobs on the Kronach campus, like 1 to 3. Currently Valeo is not in good shape, and they are hiring very few work students. Getting a part-time job is quite difficult in the city. Most of the students take up odd jobs, like mini jobs in the restaurants, cafes, etc.

A small public university in the upper Franconia.
Tips: Coburg is a pretty small, cozy campus tucked away in a quiet Bavarian town. Getting an admission offer here is pretty straightforward for most tracks, unless you're trying to get into their financial management MBA, which is incredibly competitive and an entirely different beast to crack. Because it’s an applied sciences uni, they completely drop the heavy textbook theory and push you straight into hands-on lab work and practical projects.
Since I got into one of the German-taught programs, I didn't have to pay a single cent of those new international tuition fees—you just pay the standard, low-cost semester fee. Another massive win is scoring a Wohnheim spot through the Studentenwerk. The student dorms are incredibly cheap which saves you from dealing with the local rental market since finding an apartment around here can be a real headache. It honestly beats living in a massive, chaotic, and ridiculously expensive city if you prefer a close-knit campus vibe where you actually know people.

Perfect for studies but aims course is expensive
Tips: Before signing up for Hochschule Coburg, you definitely want to dig into what they offer for financial support, like the Deutschlandstipendium, and what kind of university sports clubs are on campus. But honestly, the most critical part is looking ahead to make sure the specific degree you're chasing isn't going to leave you stranded with a useless piece of paper when you start hunting for a job. Don't just look at the modules; make sure the career prospects and the starting salary you'll pull in down the line are actually worth the time and effort you're sinking into the course.
Likes (Indian Food): I ended up adjusting to the food here way quicker than I thought I would, and now I'm actually obsessed with the local diet. Getting to experience Franconian food culture and their random daily habits firsthand is honestly pretty cool, and Coburg itself just has a really great vibe to it. If your main goal is to travel around and try a million different dishes, staying here works out brilliantly. The town is basically a cheap, easy base for weekend trips—you can just hop on a train, explore different corners of Germany, and hit up new European food scenes with zero hassle.
Dislikes (Internships): Now the industries are in very complex situations, so at the present it's very hard to find internships in Germany, and moreover, students need to be aware of ATS software, which companies are using for selecting the resumes. Students need to know about the late software where the European company follows the methods to create their standard resume.

Tips: Should learn German, and now this course feels like 1500 euros per semester, and of course before coming to Germany you must learn how to cook food at home, as it is quite essential because here you won't find so many vegetarian options. Plus, you have to show efforts in job hunting.
Likes (Value for money): For me, I wanted to learn robotics and AI, so with fewer feelings, it is worth it. If I go to learn the same course in the USA or Canada, then maybe I might have to pay worth lacs or crores for just education, and there I may have to face more competition for jobs.
Dislikes (Part time work): For other students who don't know German, they have some difficulties finding part-time jobs. It is very hard to find a part-time job and a technical job related to your studies. Because each company will have a requirement of German, and therefore at least B1 is required.

It is a good university, but due to current job market situation, think twice before coming.
Tips: Be prepared to do everything by yourself altogether and also for the big cultural shift. You will have to manage your meals, part-time work, job search, assignments, and exams at the same time. The scholarship depends on various factors, and it is not guaranteed that you will get it.
Likes (Safety): Students feel safe here. Nobody has faced any bad experience or any security issue here. Everyone can roam freely, whether in the daylight or at midnight. You can go and walk on the campus anytime. The environment is very good here; there are CCTV cameras installed on the campus.
Dislikes (Public transportation): As it is a small town, the buses stop very early in the evening, so you have to walk up on the slope to the campus, as it is situated above the city center. The public transportation is affordable; you get a student ID card, and you can travel anywhere in the city with it.

Tips: Before joining, students should know about the course they are selecting and which background they come from. Should be aware of the climate. You must have the technical knowledge and need to learn the German language. The university has all the facades for you. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience.
Likes (Public transportation): Student life is good as far as you know the basic German language to live in the city. Everything you can get in the city and enjoy the German culture as well. You need to keep yourself engaged in some of the activities. Please be polite to everyone and enjoy.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Everything is good and the professors are supportive. You are updated on the university website and emails about the workshops. The international office arranges many events for you and is very supportive. You can have an interaction with the professors and get it resolve.
