TU Dresden - Computational Modelling and Simulation
Tips: The indian community of Dresden is strong and will help new students move in. I applied for the SECAI and Deutschland Stipendum scholarship but did not get either of them. The university is big, the course is specific and has mandatory modules, which makes it difficult, and the country is nice for the salary, but the people are not friendly.
Likes (Public transportation): Good connections all across the city. One can take buses, trams, and trains. The semester contribution includes 6 months of tickets for all regional transport across Germany. Most buses run at a frequency of 2 times per hour, which is not a lot, but manageable.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Limited faculty, and Teaching style is very personal to them and not tailored to the subject taught. Mandatory courses make the course difficult to pass. Mostly, all teachers are from Germany, with very few exceptions. All pros. Use slides to teach and give material to prepare.

Excellent Research Opportunities and High-Quality Education at CRTD, TUDresden
Tips: Weather is something that was very new to me. It didn't snow so heavily in Dresden in the winter during my first year, Sep 2025 to Sep 2026. It was definitely manageable! Deutschlandstipendium is one of the very few scholarships available for Indians without any German proficiency Certificate (I might have missed some, still, do check on your own for other available scholarships). In addition to this, there are a couple of other scholarships that I heard people have received (DAAD-STIBET; PROMOS; GFF) towards the completion of a Master's degree. Usually, people manage their living expenses by doing a skilled/un-skilled part time jobs. Highly satisfied! The description mentioned on the programme website reflected the actual truth. The lectures were great! It's the first time I experienced this - for a single module, more than 20 professors delivered lectures. For example, SCD modules had 23 different lectures, and it was delivered by 23 professors. It was great to learn the concept from people who are experts and carrying out research in that same domain. Everyone was friendly to approach after lectures for a quick-talk/networking/quick-chat for an internship or lab rotation opportunities. I think knowing and speaking German might give a whole new experience. With English, one can live at a pace within campus as everyone would speak English, but outside campus, it's all German.
Likes (Internships): As part of Programme 2, mandatory lab rotations are required. BIO-POLIS Dresden has a lot of research labs, so getting a lab shouldn't be a problem. However, getting into the lab of choice is a little tricky and is possible by reaching out early/meeting the PIs in talks on campus. Uniklinikum is close to CRTD and has a lot of labs too. Getting an unpaid research position is relatively easier than getting an SHK/WHK - just email group leaders 3 to 3.5 months before the start date (2 months should also do, but getting the desired lab might get tricky then).
Dislikes (Part time work): SHK/WHK positions are available for students on campus, where students can assist research groups by carrying out assigned tasks. This falls under skilled labour and will be an add-on to your CV, but the competition is crazy. The intake to this programme has increased to around 60 students per year from around 20 students per year previously. Being ahead of time and submitting multiple applications will help you get a SHK/WHK. At times, working in a lab without getting paid for about 3 months, proving ourselves, can open up SHK/WHK offers (if there is funding in the lab).

Great value and strong academics in TU Dresden
Tips: The courses at my university are challenging and require time and effort. Also, the course duration for a master's is generally 2 years. But approx. 90-95% of students will take 1-2 semesters mores. This is very normal in Germany. Apart from this, the city is amazing.
Likes (Public transportation): The connectivity is amazing, especially for commuting to the university. Trams and buses run frequently and cover the entire city well. Public transportation is also available at night, which is a huge plus. The Deutschland ticket makes it very affordable for students which is covered in your semester fees.
Dislikes (Internships): Relevant internships exist in Dresden's strong research and industry ecosystem, especially at in the semiconductor sectors and multiple research institute. However. most listings require German proficiency, which limits options for international students still learning the language. Finding the right opportunity is largely dependent on the student's own effort.

Tips: Cultural rich campus, you'll get used to students studying in the library by the day and having beers and barbeques along the elbe by the night, fun life. Many scholarship opportunities, fill out applications, write your LOM and submit. Study hard and enjoy harder.
Likes (Value for money): TU Dresden has an amazing name and faculty here is quite knowledgeable. There is no tuition fee, we pay for a semester deutschland ticket and for student welfare association. It quite affordable to study here. Even living cost is less than other cities.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are multiple job fair throughout but you need to know the language (Deutsch) for better job opportunities. I have recently started a working student but try to set up your timetable such as you can juggle both. Students usually get around u20ac16-20/hour.

TU Dresden - a perfect place for semiconductor studies!
Tips: I'm fully satisfied with TU Dresden's nanoelectronics course programme. Dresden is also known as Silicon Valley, which hosts a lot of semiconductor companies, providing opportunities for students studying nanoelectronics specifically. With ESMC-TSMC coming up in Dresden, it is the best place for semiconductor enthusiasts. TU Dresden also provides the Deutschlandstipendium and the SECAI scholarship to support students financially. Apart from that, students can find student assistant jobs in research labs to gain experience and receive financial support.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty members are easily approachable after the lecture session, and they are kind and friendly. They teach you the basic foundation and answer "Why?" Questions, instead of simply starting with " it's what it is. Faculty members are mostly from different European countries, but there are a few people from other countries as well.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a couple of Indian restaurants in the city; however, they are pretty costly. We have mensas where one can eat meals costing 2 to 4 euros for each person for students, and sometimes Indian food is served as well. However, in most cases, I prefer cooking on my own.

TU Dresden: Affordable world class education in “Florence on the Elbe”
Tips: Dresden offers very cheap accommodation and is more affordable than most West German cities. However, the work opportunities are limited compared to big cities like Berlin, Munich, etc. There is a decent-sized Indian community here, but it’s not as big as in most big Western metropolises. I did not avail any scholarships. I am very satisfied with the university coursework and the system, as it’s very structured, and Germany as a whole offers you the standard European experience that many people dream of. Plus, Dresden is one of the prettiest cities in Germany, and TUD is one of the top universities in Germany and part of the Excellence Initiative.
Likes (Value for money): I have no tuition fees and only a semester contribution of 361 euros per semester that covers my transportation costs and other utility fees for the university. The Deutschlandticket included in these fees covers all public transit options across the country. You can essentially travel anywhere without a worry for buying a ticket at all times.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian restaurants are rare, and Mensa cafeterias mostly serve German cuisine, with restaurants mostly being Middle Eastern and East Asian in origin. I prefer cooking myself as it’s cheaper and more flexible with what I can eat. All kinds of Indian cooking ingredients are also readily available at low prices.

TU Dresden- my pov and experience
Tips: The Technical University of Dresden is a reputed college and falls under Germany’s TU9. The important thing to know is that all subjects are mostly theoretical and research-oriented. I personally like the curriculum, but the exams are quite different from how it was in India.
Likes (Safety): The TU Dresden campus is pretty safe. It’s a student-friendly city due to multiple students from multiple countries. There are also student organizations related to women's safety. I personally have never heard of anyone facing any safety issues in my city.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Dresden is a city for semi conductor industry, so finding a job in other fields is a little difficult. Many students find jobs, many don't. It completely depends on your skills and your language level. So I've given an average rating for post-study jobs.

I like this college......
Tips: TU Dresden is a top-tier college. Before coming here, the only thing you need is to know the language at least at a conversational level. The language is not required in the college, but it is absolutely necessary to live in any place in Saxony to get a part-time job. Apart from that, the studies can be a bit stressful depending on what course you're getting into. So please research about the course and the modules they offer.
Likes (Indian Food): You'll get a couple of Indian store options where you can get fish, mutton, chicken, and everything that an Indian needs. Also, the Indian restaurant options are pretty wide, and there are few really good Indian restaurants in particular. Apart from that, there's a gurudwara in Dresden; it also has its own Indian store.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are very few student assistant positions in my department, and getting a part-time job is very challenging because of the language barrier. In Dresden, speaking German is mandatory. Apart from that, everything is pretty cool, but the engineering courses might offer a wide range of work-student positions.

Having studied for a couple of years in Dresden, I feel it's a good place to explore academically
Tips: Before coming to TU Dresden, you need to know that as one of Germany's top engineering universities, the academic standard here is no joke. TUD is a massive public research university, which means you get incredible access to high-end labs, research hubs around Dresden (like Fraunhofer and Max Planck institutes), and strong industry connections across Saxony's tech sector. But that reputation comes with a heavy workload—professors expect high independence, and nobody is going to hold your hand through the semester.
On the life side, Dresden is one of the most affordable major student cities in Germany compared to places like Munich or Frankfurt, especially when it comes to rent in areas like Neustadt or Südvorstadt. The international student community is huge, but you still need basic German to handle day-to-day things like administrative paperwork or finding a student job. If you show up prepared to self-study, handle a tough exam schedule, and take initiative yourself, the career doors TUD opens are huge.

If you are looking for an easy full time entry level job market thats not here!!
Tips: I haven't transitioned much culturally. Not much cultural shift; I did not avail myself of any scholarship. Academically, the institute has taught a lot more about academia. I am satisfied with the university and course, be they their projects or topics. They are more inclined towards research, and professors are not friendly towards an industry thesis.
Likes (Public transportation): The tram and bus are all well connected to the university near the main station, so the S-Bahn connects even to the suburbs so quickly. Students get the Deutschland ticket, so it's basically included in your semester contribution, which is also being increased semester by semester but is still affordable.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Getting a visa after a job is very easy, but is getting a full-time job easy? There are very few entry-level openings in my field; they are only hiring people with 5 years of experience. They already have enough junior engineers they don't want any more. More than 40% of students who graduated from my master's study either end up going back to their countries or do a Ph.D., which they didn't plan.

Tips: I personally did not feel any major cultural shock and got adjusted easily. Many scholarship options are available depending on the course of choice. Very satisfied with the university, the course, the city, and the country. Lots of opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): Dresden is very well connected via public transportation. Buses, trams, and regional trains are the available modes of transportation. Very affordable, as the semester contribution covers the complete public transportation for the entire semester, so you don't need to pay anything else.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are many different cuisines available. Many Indian restaurants with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are open throughout the city. I prefer cooking myself at home. There are also food delivery apps like Uber Eats and Wolt that do doorstep delivery.

Dislikes (Indian Food): Restaurants are varied, from Asian, Western, and Middle Eastern foods to, of course, European food. I prefer cooking, as you can save lots of money, and you can eat outside, but it's not sustainable. Make friends and cook; plus, you can also try other food from different regions/countries when you cook together.

A life changing opportunity
Tips: The university is really good; you can meet and get knowledge from some great professors from all over the world. But in terms of studies, students really need to work hard, and sometimes that can be challenging along with all other responsibilities, so please prepare yourself before. Do not rush for any odd jobs if they are not really urgent; instead, try to get a work-study in your field of study because most of the students make this mistake and end up wasting their time.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I really rate the faculty highly because they’re incredibly approachable whenever you get stuck or need help with a complex topic. The lecture style took me some time to get used to—it’s quite rigorous right from the start—but it clicks after a few weeks and makes a lot of sense. Another massive benefit is the sheer diversity of the staff; you’re being taught by professors who bring in global research experience from entirely different parts of the world.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are mostly available for courses that consist of mandatory internships but are hard to get if they're voluntary. Sometimes you might end up getting internships, but they last for only 3 months, and it's very difficult to get them, as the competition is too high.

Dresden is a hub for the semiconductor industry.
Tips: It is a great opportunity to connect with international students and the research oriented faculty. There are many opportunities to grow at the university in whichever direction you want to go. The curriculum is revised every year to include new courses that are beneficial for students in the long term. Students without prior industrial experience can also gain experience through working student roles at the university and research institutes. Students who secure a good GPA of 9 and above (Indian grading system) can apply for scholarships. I am very satisfied with my university and the opportunities it provided me to learn, explore and grow. The course is quite good and you have access to industrial tools to get good exposure during the masters programme. This helps you in getting internships and other rules while studying. Germany is quite welcoming and I am happy to be here.
Likes (Post study jobs): The university is located in Saxony state in Germany. There are a lot of opportunities in the semiconductor domain as there are multiple startups, university spinoffs and MNCs. Dresden is a hub for the semiconductor industry as it plays a pivotal role being part of Silicon Saxony. Analogue and digital design, verification, research and semiconductor technology related jobs are available once you complete the masters programme in Nanoelectronic systems. Salary packages vary from company to company, roughly between 50,000 - 75,000 per annum. Salary is negotiable based on your skill set and experience in the domain in which you will be working.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking food myself as there are less options in finding Indian cuisine. It is quite expensive to have food from restaurants while you are in student. There are restaurants providing Italian, Mexican, Greek, Indian, Asian and other European cuisines. Rates vary from restaurant to restaurant, depending on the dish you order. A dish can cost you anywhere between 5-30 roughly.

Amazing university for Nanoelectronics students.
Tips: There are multiple scholarships and programs available for building a network which helps a lot to find part time job and even full time job. Networking plays a major role. The course is easy if you regularly study and do not study just during exams, like an Indian college's approach.
Likes (Value for money): It's a public university, therefore there is no tuition fee and the fee we pay during the semester is for a semester ticket, which is used for public transport all over Germany. You dont have to pay any exam fee or utilities fees so basically the education you acquire is completely free of charge.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian restaurants are very few and among them, only 1 or 2 are worth the money therefore I prefer to try different cuisines outside such as Italian, Mexican, etc or else prefer to cook all by myself an Indian food, which makes it worth the taste.

Multi-dimensional, good networking opportunity and great research opportunity.
Tips: For the ones who have lived all their life in India, cultural shift will definitely be there. But it is also based on how much open one is to the experience and well as flexible to trying new things and adjusting to it, while also remaining their core values. The first semester goes on very quickly, so people need to stick to their routine and not get carried away by the external things too much. Enjoyment is good, but if the goal is for a good education and a job afterwards, then it needs to be focused. There are several scholarships like DAAD, Erasmus Mundus. They usually pay for everything, although it is competitive. There are some partial scholarship as well which can be availed once someone gets enrolled to support their traineeship/internship, semester abroad, supporting master's thesis, buying laptops etc. The course is very multi dimensional so if you need to get specified knowledge in one field, you need to pick your electives wisely and opt for a semester abroad, if possible.
Likes (Public transportation): The entire city is well connected with public transport. Plus now, the deutschland ticket provides access to all local and regional trains (except high-speed ones), buses, tram, ferries, ropeways etc. throughout Germany. As a student, the amount is within the semester contribution, so one does not have to pay anything extra, after that it's about 60 euros/month.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated 4 because part time jobs are available, but most of them require at least basic German language skills, specially the ones involving customer interaction. A part time job of 10 -20 hours/week is quite manageable, if one plans their schedule well and follows a structured timetable. There are several options of finding part-time work: TU Dresden job portals like STAV, and external job agencies like Nexgenjobs, eBay Klienenzeigen etc.

Likes (Value for money): There is no tuition fee at TU Dresden, as it is a public university. Also, it is one of the top 9 technical universities in Germany, making it the best university for international students. There are many English courses available, with great support from the university.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The market is a little tough to crack at this moment. The job postings do have a lot of jobs, but they are primarily jobs in the electronics industry. For some roles, you might be able to negotiate an internship that could eventually be a full-time job, or you might be able to find a student job and later negotiate a full-time position with that company. Additionally, if you can manage to learn some German, it would give you a leg up on the competition.

There's an Indian association to help you with your accommodation and university boarding.
Tips: The transition was smooth. People here are independent, punctual, reserved, polite, friendly and welcoming. There are cultural differences, and it took time to adapt. I didn't get a scholarship because my university is free.
Likes (Safety): Germany is, in itself, a safe country. There are emergency helpline numbers for various concerns, such as well-lit street lights and an emergency department at the university. If we have any safety, mental, or health concerns, we can easily go to them. Police patrol the street, and I haven't encountered any accidents yet. Most of the people I've met here are kind and helpful to outsiders. In every city, there's an Indian association, just like in Dresden when I first arrived. I was a new student, and a study buddy was assigned to me. He literally helped me with everything, from accommodation to my university boarding.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are various types of restaurants around, including Indian, Turkish, Italian, and various fast-food options. The price range is from 5 to 15 euros per meal, depending on the type of restaurant. I prefer cooking for myself because it is more affordable and healthier than eating out.

Stressful and highly demanding coursework.
Tips: If you really feel you can opt for research-oriented programs, please go for it. This program demands high prerequisite knowledge. I did apply for a scholarship, and for that, you need a couple of prerequisites. Do not come in the mindset that you can finish your master’s in 2 years. It’s a myth. The trams and bus connections are very well connected and organised. From my dorm, I need to go 45 minutes to my university. The tram connections are usually great. You get buses and trams immediately, and the wait time is comparatively low. This is especially true on weekdays, but weekend service is much less reliable.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking by myself as I am able to cut down a lot of living expenses through that. The restaurants around my locality start from 10 euros minimum per meal, which is basically my half-week or a week's worth of grocery money. Try to save up as much money as possible, but don't be frugal in food.

College is good, students aren't!
Tips: Make sure you are paying attention to every single document your getting in your mail box and if there is any due amount of anything, do not forget to pay it on time otherwise in next day fine can get increased to half amount. I'm not so satisfied with my university, and the reason is not that they don't teach us well. The only problem with the university is that many students in university are just there to join and attend the classes they don't study so when they are in the classroom they don't focus and don't let anyone else focus on their classes too that's the only reason why I'm not liking this university otherwise if you wanna study, university is good and professors are also great. Germany country I swear I really don't enjoy it you gonna feel discrimination at every point if you cannot speak German Their system is also so slow if you wanna do any of your documentation you have wait for too long NEVER GO TO DOCTORS OR ANY CLINIC HERE!! my experience I got injured first have to wait for hours to get diagnosed and idk what is wrong with these people here they have way to different way of treating patients and I wasn't able to recover from my injuries when I was going to them better you treat yourself better at home or do not get any injuries and health problems.
Likes (Safety): Everything around campus is really safe you can go anywhere anytime even in middle of the night but the only thing that gonna trouble you is loneliness so better find friends (most importantly good ones). DON'T FORGET TO GET YOURSELF LIABILITY INSURANCE AS WELL. Nobody knows when you'll get in trouble, especially if you're working or if you step outside of your house!
Dislikes (Internships): Finding internships from college in Bsbi doesn't exists if your applying from your own there are many requirements like German language till C1 and work experience yes!! Even for an internship. Here are lot of working students' role even for that you need work experience like more than 2years or more and I find it crazy for every single role they have lot of requirements

Self study college, dont relie on the course.
Tips: I highly recommend that, if you can get into a public university, please try it. Even if they are in remote cities, there are more facilities if you compare them with this one, but if you want an easy-going college, you can consider this one. And whichever college you go to, self-study is a must, and if you join this college, then you have to study by yourself, teach yourself, not for academics but for yourself.
Likes (Public transportation): The city is well connected, every station has at least a bus stop along with either S-Bahn or U-Bahn. Apart from this, there is also a tram. You can travel who germany with a Deutschlandticket, which you can get for 63 euros. You don't have to walk much in this city.
Dislikes (Internships): The College is not recognised or reputed, so the chances of getting an internship at a brand name are less. Also, there is no mandatory internship, so most employers won't consider you. There are job portals for colleges, but very few success stories from them, so the chance of getting an internship is totally on you.

The university has provided me with decent education with excellent international exposure.
Tips: Before coming to BSBI, do a deep dive into your specific course modules, living costs, and especially housing. Finding an apartment or WG in Berlin is an absolute nightmare right now, so you need to start searching months before landing. Don't rely heavily on BSBI's scholarships either—they offer small partial fee discounts, but they won't cover your actual living expenses in Germany. Overall though, I'm really happy with my decision, the program setup, and living in Berlin.

Tips: I have transitioned from a completely different education system to one where most of the learning happens outside of assigned reading and each student is accountable for themselves. There is a lot to do both in and outside of campus although being on campus is better if you want a more focused environment. There are a lot of perks to being a student here such as free commute, freebies and other discounts. A lot of jobs here come from referrals.

No internship support or opportunities.
Tips: It's a private university, with no value for the degree according to the German job market. You can pay the full fee in one go to get a 35% discount, but it's really not worth it. I put all my hard-earned money into this, and they don't even have a robotics lab for teaching.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin has a very good transport system including U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Bus, and Tram. Everything is well connected. There is a U-Bahn Stop right beside the university campus so it's really easy to travel. Germany has the best thing called the Deutschland ticket which lets you travel the whole country on a single ticket.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No support is offered by the university itself; you have to find a job. You have to email 1000 times just to get a response. Sometimes they host career counselling but it's literally nonsense, I mean nothing new that what you know already, learn German, that's what will get you a job.

Try to learn B1 level German before joining.
Tips: I had a bit more expectations from the university side but it was barely an average academic experience. I got a scholarship on tuition of 30 % on the basis of my 12th Grade. Other than that, the life around the city and the country is very nice. You can explore nightlife, history and nature in and around Berlin. Other parts of Germany are also very charming.
Likes (Public transportation): It's connected via the Berlin U-Bahn Network which is very wide over the city. The campus is also connected by buses to major points in the city. I don't think someone who lived in Berlin didn't faced any problems regarding the public transport system. The Deutschland Ticket is going to be 63 euros per month from January 2026. This ticket lets you travel on every means of transport all around Germany without extra cost, except for long distance ICE and IC trains.
Dislikes (Part time work): There may be possibilities for student assistant positions as unpaid but no actual jobs are available on the campus. You have to find a part time job outside campus. The current part time job situation in Berlin is tough for someone who is not fluent in German or doesn't have many connections.

A multiple dimensional space to learn.
Tips: There has been a cultural shift. I sometimes feel that German culture is better than Indian culture. The biggest challenge I've found is the language barrier; it's difficult to navigate daily life without German. I don't have any scholarships, but I am well satisfied with my university, course, and the country.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system is very well-connected to the campus. We can take the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and buses to get there. The cost is 58 euros per month, which is reasonable for students. With buses and trains arriving every 5 minutes, it's very convenient to reach all parts of the city.
Dislikes (Safety): Classes are conducted by the student council to raise awareness about student safety on and off campus. I was returning home after a trip and waiting for my bus at the station around 10 pm. A visibly drunk African man approached me, trying to shake my hand. I said no and felt frightened. A German man sitting beside me helped me and made me feel safe.

Tips: It's not that great. You just get a degree from another country on paper. It depends on your skills, too. You need to attend college six times a month, that's all. Exams should be written on campus. There's an English class that is terrible. You need to attend until you pass. There are no practical assignments that we get to learn. However, student life is vibrant. There are many on-campus events. Overall, I am not satisfied with the course or the college.

The internship options are limited, especially in health management.
Tips: I switched from another university to BSBI, and it was the best decision. There are many campus activities besides studies. We have regular classes twice a week, and the student council recently organised a day trip. Our student council is very active. You'll be amazed by all the programs if you join. There are also many workshops.
Likes (Safety): The city has felt safe to me so far. While I’ve heard about safety concerns in certain areas, I haven't experienced anything negative. There are many homeless people on the streets, but I've never seen them cause any problems. Just be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy your time here.
Dislikes (Internships): The internship options are limited, especially in health management. Also, language skills are essential. I've applied for several internships but received rejections. You will likely face many rejections, but you will eventually reach your desired destination. That's what I believe.

Tips: This college does not offer any practical skills. If you want to study here, you have to figure out how to learn on your own. If you're someone who just wants to come to Germany without any qualifications, this university is for you. If you're a hard-working, honest student, you do not belong here.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin transport is one of the best in Europe. The city is extremely well-connected via train, metro, bus and tram. Even in the middle of the night, getting home is not a problem. It's also very affordable and available 24/7, making it one of the best places to live for students in the world.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The university is not recognised by any German company, so it's super hard to get a job. I had to struggle my way to get one. The teachers at the university are substandard, and the ones who are good don't feel motivated to teach well, as they think that students are just not worth it.

The university is good and the people are friendly but sometimes language can be a big barrier.
Tips: If you're serious about studying, always go to a public university. Not only do you get an awesome international crowd, but the professors are very well educated as well. Also, admission to BSBI is a breeze, and if you pay the fee all at once, you get 33% off. There are a few companies in Germany that provide sponsored visas for employment because they can easily hire skilled employees from within the country. This means they don't have to spend time trying to attract applicants from outside the country. Salaries in Germany are good, but the tax rate is high, from 32% to 46%. It's not uncommon for half of your salary to go to taxes. Perhaps the biggest hurdle of all is the language barrier. These days, you need to be fluent in German, at least to the B1 level, for even the simplest jobs.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): To become a permanent resident or citizen is easy because the requirements are minimal. To become a resident, they don't ask for many things. Personally, I'd prefer to stay on a blue card. It's based on your annual salary, and if you fall under a particular salary level, you get the card and its benefits.

Great learning environment and skill growth in a German college.
Tips: Good staff and students in BSBI. Students coming from different countries, different religions, locality, and different cultures. But my experience is good, no cultural bad experience, no racism in college and in Germany. So. I chose this college because I wanted to do a Data Analytics course in a big city like Berlin. So, this option was best for me. So, I am satisfied with this course, but I suggest that when you are thinking of coming to study in Germany, at least you need to learn a B1 or B2 German level; otherwise, you will face lots of struggles here.
Likes (Safety): Germany is a very safe country. Here, everyone - girls, boys, and people in general can go anywhere they want and be safe. There is no rape, murder, or theft. I have never had a negative experience.
Dislikes (Internships): Well, I just completed my studies from BSBI. I am still searching for a full-time job in my Data Analytics field, but I can’t find one these days because the job market isn’t good in Germany for someone who doesn’t know German. I also didn’t do an internship in my field. Here, the students’ finding an internship or field job ratio is 20-30% of getting a field job. The other 70-80% do warehouse, cycling, bakery, bar, and restaurant jobs in European countries without knowing the German language.

Student friendly university with strong academic values.
Tips: The university has students from all over the world, making it easier to transition. The cultural shift happened after we had understood the way of life in Germany. There are also university scholarships and government scholarships. I did not personally take advantage of them, but I know people who did. These days, living in Berlin has been difficult due to the large immigrants. On campus, the student life is amazing, and safety is the utmost concern of the university. Good experiences were in university with my fellow friends and we used to do our exercises and enjoy in the university. There are no bad experiences as such. Except the area has a lot of Turkish people, which sometimes isn't good. Overall, I am much more satisfied with the university and the course.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of getting permanent residency are pretty good. If you can get C1 in German within three years and you have an excellent job opportunity, there's a good chance you'll get to stay permanently. I would definitely migrate to Germany if you are serious about doing so. The only thing that makes this difficult is the language barrier. Once you conquer that hurdle, finding a good job and getting permanent residency becomes easier.

A versatile university in terms of experience.
Tips: Adjusting to a different culture can be challenging. It’s hard to find vegetarian food, and the main challenge is the language, but the university offers free German courses. Fortunately, you can work part-time, and there are scholarships available, so the transition is smooth, and I’m very satisfied.
Likes (Student Life): Berlin is the capital city of Germany, and student life is happening here. Including my university, there are a few other universities, so it's easy to mingle with other university students. Our university organized events for every big festival on campus: Holi, Diwali, Berlin carnival, and a Christmas event.
Dislikes (Value for money): The professors were well-educated and industry-experienced. They were easily available through emails and direct interactions. The portal that we used while studying is easy to understand and use. All the material was added, and the assignments had to be submitted through that specified portal only. I had diverse faculty, Indian, Iranian, Italian, and German. My thesis supervisor was a German who was very helpful and always available.

Tips: There is no transition except weather conditions, and there is no such cultural shift as there are many Indians in college. There are no scholarships available as it is a private university. The admission is quite easy with your good background in the same field, and my college fee is around €9250. Overall, I am very much satisfied here with the university and the course I have opted for, and Germany is a very lovely city with a good neighbourhood.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here are highly educated and have a vast knowledge about the topics they are teaching. In addition, teaching starts from the basics here, so there is no need to worry if you enter as a fresher. The faculty are very friendly and cooperative and do their best to make you understand the topics clearly.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is no availability of part-time jobs on campus, but you have plenty of options across Berlin for both technical and non-technical roles. Many institutions offer research positions, and many companies offer internships for students. However, it is very important to have experience.
