Quality meets affordability.
Tips: Making a weekly course schedule that works for you is pretty easy. For example, I've been taking all my classes in the morning since I work part-time in the afternoons and sometimes evenings. It's not always easy balancing work and school, but you get the hang of it over time. The transition to university should be fairly smooth. There are a lot of international students, so you'll easily find people from your community. Plus, there are events like the Holi party or DJ events that can help you meet people and have fun. But when you come to a new country, you do have to adjust to their culture as well. Finding the balance between sharing your own culture and embracing a new one is important. I'm personally really happy with the University of Manitoba. I had the option of going to much bigger universities like UBC or UofT, but when you compare the tuition and accommodation cost here to those places, it's much more affordable while still offering great academic and career opportunities.
Likes (Indian Food): There are multiple Indian restaurants here offering a variety of Indian dishes that would keep your belly happy. I was also surprised by the amount of Indian snacks and other products being offered in the grocery stores and general stores. Parle G, Navratan Oil, Soan Papdi, Kurkure, etc. except for Haldiram's Gup Shup.
Dislikes (Safety): There is a huge issue with theft and aggressive homeless folks in the city, especially downtown. Now, I do empathize with the homeless, and I understand the situation they are in, but they sometimes cause a ruckus in buses, bus stops, grocery stores, etc., making people uncomfortable. I am not saying they will hurt you, but it is better to stay in your lane. That being said, it is a nice gesture to give them a free drink, snacks, or change; they always appreciate that.

Average school in terms of studies and overall experience.
Tips: Before coming here buy the winter gear from here instead of your home country. Some of the winter gear from other countries is not suitable for the winter here. There are a few scholarships here but require you to maintain a good academic performance to obtain them. Overall, it's a pretty average school.

Value for money,it gives memories, experience, and opportunities to the students.
Tips: This university will give you a lifetime of memories and skills that will help you in life, beyond your chosen career. You will find innumerable opportunities to explore your capabilities and use them in life. There are several clubs and design teams that you can join, which will really add to your resume. There is also a good advantage of developing your network here since there are always new guest lecturers, workshops, seminars, etc. happening on campus. Students joining this college should know that it has a high fee structure. The vibrant campus community and abundance of opportunities to grow. It is always rainy here but it gives a lot of exposure. High research output and supportive faculty. There is a huge campus. Good food options are there with high living costs. It is one of the best engineering and business programs in Canada.

A journey worth remembering.
Tips: CSULB does not offer any scholarship for MSIS course. The student housing community is very good and the bus service in the whole of Long Each is too good. The bus stop is 5 minutes. Walk away from the housing community. Multiple grocery and fast food options from the housing community, which is just a distance of 3-4 minutes.
Likes (Value for money): The fee is very less compared to other universities in California. At the same time, you get the opportunity to stay in California, which is the hub of tech opportunities. The professors at the university are friendly and helpful. The university has many events, career fairs, etc.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The nearest Indian food restaurant is 35 minutes away by bus. There is an Indian area called as Artesia, where you can get Indian groceries, multiple Indian food options, Indian vibes and Indian festive shopping. Also, the bus takes about 35 minutes from the nearest bus stop to the housing community.

CSULB stands out for its academic excellence, punctuality, and discipline.
Tips: CSULB stands out for its academic excellence, punctuality, and discipline. No matter what your major is, you'll find top-notch professors here, and they are easygoing too. The student clubs here are very beneficial for students to grow their networks and interact with like-minded people. Never worry about the quality of education because CSULB never disappoints you.
Likes (Value for money): The University fees are very affordable, and the top-notch professors really contribute to levelling us up. There are also plenty of scholarships offered to those who are in need and to those who are deserving. When you compare tuition fees with other universities, it’s very reasonable and matches the high-class quality.
Dislikes (Part time work): The campus is very large, and part-time jobs are easily found. There are many options in the university, and students will have one or another alternative to work. However, they need to be patient in their search and while applying for part-time jobs. Once they have applied, getting a job should be easier, and referrals work much better.

Good energy and a promising campus.
Tips: Once you're in the US, it's important to be mindful of how you talk to people. It can be totally different than talking to people in India, and it can be a little tough adjusting to that. There are tons of international students at CSULB and I would say, if you are coming here, you should try to make friends with people from everywhere. Don't limit yourself to other Indian students. People in Long Beach are really chill, and there are tons of clubs and bars around the university to hang out at. There’s even a specialized gaming area on campus with the esports department, bowling, and more. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigrating to the US permanently was always hard, but after the Trump administration, it became harder. Permanent immigration after your studies doesn't depend on the university, but on you. It depends on factors such as getting a job and whether or not your employer wants to sponsor you.

Overall university is good enough in all aspects.
Tips: Do good research personally and get to know the information. Don't listen to the guys, who has no knowledge of the university you are choosing. Talk to the expert and analyze the situation. Have a complete report of each university you are applying to and compare the pros and cons based on your requirements. Then decide which is best. You can also grab the information about the university from their website or you can request extra information from the university service team.
Likes (Internships): For civil engineering lot of employees were offered internships and few days back career fare were conducted for internships and jobs. Now in USA there is a good scope for civil and mechanical engineering guys. Right now construction activity is booming up in the USA. I suggest Masters aspirants in civil and mechanical guys go ahead with a good university to kick start their abroad career.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I am flexible with the situations, I can go wherever I want to in based on the probability and scenarios. It is a good choice to work here and get to know about the technology they are using and the procedures they are following. Apart from that permanent immigration is a big thing. So later on based on the situation only I can decide if I want to stay here.

Well infrastructured and good maintenance
Tips: About the fees, present faculty, and other facilities like sports, library . About the reputation and previous reviews and results about the college. Every one must know about the college. And we must compare with other college also.
Likes (Indian Food): College has a good canteen and we can get our traditional food too. Few of them will charge at low cost.We can get any type of food , they are very specialized in this. We have number of canteen with plenty of dishes, pasteries, bakery, thickchakes and drinks.
Dislikes (Value for money): Because, they charge more for fees. And they add additional charges like , library, laboratories fees and etc. And people in this college are not getting a quality education for the money they spend. And some things will be skipped in the academic year.
