Good university with strong academics and practical approach.
Tips: I didn’t face any sort of cultural shift, as there are a lot of Indian students in the university. Explore Australian culture as well and learnt a lot of new things like work-life balance from them. I availed a 30% scholarship by maintaining a final year and individual CGPA and SGPA of 8+. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university as they genuinely believe in learning practically and the application of concepts. Adelaide is extremely safe in terms of Safety, and Aussie people are really helpful in every aspect and welcoming by nature.
Likes (Public transportation): I have my house located at Magill Road, and the bus stop is right next to my house, which directly takes me to the University Bus Stop. That is the best way of transportation. If you are travelling to a far place with a group, it is better to book an Uber or DiDi.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking my own food as it saves on cost, and there are several Indian restaurants nearby if I don't want to cook. Specifically: Chakna bill for two is 60 dollars, Bombay Spice 50 dollars for two, and Chatkaaz $50 for two.

An international local experience.
Tips: Prospective students should go through the course curriculum beforehand to ensure they set their expectations right for what they are gonna be studying in the classes. There are scholarships available that are provided on merit. The current university is transitioning into the new Adelaide University, so there are a few things which are still being worked out, but hopefully it will all be settled soon.
Likes (Student Life): There is so much going on in the university. Every other day, some activity is happening on the campus; it's up to you if you want to participate or not. Student engagement activities, informative sessions, giveaways, and other well-being activities are a few to list.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is a robust network of public transport connections from the university to other locations. Trains and tram services are available in limited areas, which can increase travel time using buses. The transport services are not so expensive, and special concession fares are available for students.

There are no compulsory placements or internships.
Tips: University is very accommodating, so the transition isn't difficult. They try their best for a smooth transition. The University of Adelaide and Unisa are emerging, but it is their utmost priority that this transition is seamless for all students and staff. Though one must pay proper attention to academics from the start. I got a 30% scholarship from the university. Details about all the scholarships are available on the university platform. I got it with my offer letter. Some need to be applied for separately. I am very happy with the university and the city. Love my experience here. But at times, I feel my course could have been.
Likes (Student Life): Love the university's encouraging, positive, and motivating environment. I appreciate the flexibility; students can have a flexible timetable and balance academics with a personal life, part-time work, and relaxation. The university hosts many events, including cultural, club-based, festival events, and most are open to all students. These events are really fun and cover social, cultural, and field-based interests like project management, finance, and computer science societies.
Dislikes (Internships): There are very few internship opportunities, with only 2-3 openings per semester. There are no compulsory placements or internships. Securing an internship is highly competitive, and the university's support is limited. I am currently in my 3rd semester and, as such, do not have much exposure to job opportunities.

Master of Applied Project Management - Batch of 2025
4.3
Great place for personal and professional growth.
Tips: Before enrolling, thoroughly examine the course content and subjects. Don't make your decision based solely on the course name. While the professors are knowledgeable, lectures tend to cover the basics. If you're a dedicated student, schedule appointments; professors are happy to delve deeper into the subject matter.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Visa options are great, and the post-study visa is sufficient. The PR pathway is relatively easy compared to the USA or the UK. Many companies are willing to sponsor you if you have the necessary skills. Keep track of the skill occupation list and apply at the right time. Consider taking the PTE for your visa application while in Australia.
Dislikes (Internships): The university has a career services department that posts jobs and internships, but the promotion and marketing are insufficient. Most students are unaware, and those who are aware often outnumber the available internships.

The availability of on-campus part-time work is limited.
Tips: Mostly it was about understanding how Australians function, learning their lingo, and observing their interactions. Because of academic excellence, I received a 30% scholarship, which covered almost an entire year's tuition. I've had positive experiences and would recommend Adelaide to students.
Likes (Safety): Student service and mental health support are excellent. Most faculty members are helpful and patient. There are many understanding people, and you will be treated as you treat others.
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of on-campus part-time work is limited; there are more opportunities off campus. It's manageable, but it depends on your course. If you're studying something like medicine, you likely won't have much time to work. With working restrictions for international students, you can likely earn around 1,500 per fortnight, which is sufficient for personal expenses.

it's a great place to meet people from different countries and get to know about their culture.
Tips: Students should research more about the campus and clubs that can help them during their course. This research can also help them land part-time jobs sooner than expected. It's also good to know more about the local culture and language, as some of the words are slightly different from what we use back home.
Likes (Safety): There have been very few incidents concerning the safety of international students. It's better to stay close to the city as these crimes take place in the outback. There are situations where you might work in a service station, and you might notice a shop theft. It's better to report to the cops, rather than fight with the shop lifter.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is no proper suburban connectivity through public transportation. The public transport is also not that frequent when you compare it with Melbourne or Sydney. One advantage here is that you can use the same public transport card that can be used for trains, trams and buses.

Big investment, but satisfactory return.
Tips: The University of Adelaide offers comprehensive support services to ensure a smooth and fulfilling academic experience. There are comprehensive and thorough guidance resources available throughout your student journey. There are also mental health counselling and support services available for international students, and these services include 24/7 helplines. Additionally, the university provides a streamlined scholarship application process, with awards being granted based on overall academic performance.
Likes (Safety): The University of Adelaide has a strong campus security presence, and it is welcoming to everyone. The campus also has easily accessible grievance and security offices. The city and campus are well lit with regular police and security patrols, so I feel safe walking alone, even at night in the suburbs.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time work on campus is scarce, and off-campus jobs can be hard to find and manage. Most off-campus jobs only pay low hourly wages if you're under 20. If you're looking to cover your living expenses while studying, you may have to sacrifice some of your study time. It's doable, but it's going to be tough depending on your study load.

Very few internship opportunities but great student life.
Tips: Before joining this university, make sure you understand that you are required to struggle as a student. Studying abroad is not for those who want things to be easy and are lazy. You will not only be required to study but also do your own chores and possibly more as well as work. Finding work in Australia, along with the visa restrictions, is going to be hard. I would recommend practising your English, and doing all your chores and maintaining an active lifestyle before coming to Australia. Making an appropriate resume and CV is also recommended. Also, remember your goals. You are here to study and create a life. Find a balance between having fun and studying.
Likes (Student Life): There are going to be a lot of events within the campus and meet-ups that will happen every week in order to keep you motivated and entertained. You might be able to make a lot of friends, depending on how social you are. The types of events vary from cultural to hobbies, depending on what you are looking for. Almost anything you can think about will have a club or community at the university. My personal favourite is going to be the Japanese club meet-ups. Being able to practice Japanese with native Japanese speakers was a great experience.
Dislikes (Internships): The university does have internship opportunities however, there are only a few opportunities that you will receive in your 1.5 or 2 years here. The opportunities also are a long shot and 90% of the time won't get you to even an interview due to lack of experience .

Amazing all-rounder university.
Tips: Just use the university and the facilities it provides to you. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone. There will definitely be a big cultural shift, but the important thing is not to be afraid and give yourself time to adjust to it. I am very satisfied with Australia. Being a big lover of sports, Australia has great sporting events, and the weather is great too. My course is very nice too, it's challenging but has the right amount of everything.
Likes (Student Life): Lots of activities to do, lots of clubs to join, amazing connections and events in the university. Different types of activities with different types of people and clubs are organised, giving people a lot of exposure. I really enjoyed going to the events and meeting new people. Our university has all sorts of clubs, from academic ones to social clubs to sports clubs. There is something for everyone.
Dislikes (Internships): The university helps you with building your resume, cover letter, and with interviews, but that’s about it. Our university doesn’t have a lot of industry connections like UNISA. However, that will change after the merger. They do offer you a mentor program, and that is very handy.

Good university and friendly atmosphere.
Tips: Students should be aware of the university and the place before coming here. If you have a scholarship, then it's great otherwise, for international students, it feels very expensive. If you add living expenses without having any part-time, then it becomes difficult to survive until you are getting from your own country.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation in Australia, particularly in major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, is generally efficient, affordable, and well-connected. It's an important factor in shaping the experience of international students, especially for those who rely on it to commute to their universities and explore the city. There's an overview of the public transportation system, its affordability, convenience, and the connection between campuses and the rest of the city.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The experience of international students in Australia is a multifaceted journey shaped by numerous factors, including educational opportunities, cultural adaptation, and personal growth. For many, Australia is a top choice for higher education due to its globally recognised universities, vibrant student life, and diverse culture. However, challenges such as financial pressure, adjusting to a new environment, and navigating immigration policies also significantly impact this experience.

Exciting, fun, loving and interactive experience.
Tips: I got a Global Citizenship Scholarship, which waived 30% of my fee because I had an overall good profile as I was a professional athlete back in India. I am very satisfied with my course and this new country. There were not many cultural shifts that I had to face, and there are a lot of Indians living here, so they were pretty helpful and introduced me to everything.
Likes (Safety): Safety is top-notch. Everything is accessible to everyone, and during the night after 9-10, not many people walk or go for a stroll in this city. They are usually sleeping, and most shops and restaurants close, so that's why there aren't many incidents happening.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Few companies offer sponsor visas, and as Indians, it is a bit tough to get jobs or interviews through resumes. We need references as well. The job roles of my specialisation, which is marketing, are also very low.

The university of Adelaide is a place with great opportunities.
Tips: I'm really satisfied with the university because of the organisation of the institute, friendly faculty, and wide range of networking and professional opportunities. You get to witness various cultures in and around the university, as well as in the place. The course is also good for learning and gaining exposure.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty was great and provided help on a timely basis. They would respond swiftly and also help you to find answers on your own, helping in self-development. The faculty were also friendly and welcoming, and they knew the answers to the questions.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships available but a bit limited due to fewer options in SA. It is mainly because the biotechnology field is upcoming and still developing. So because of that, it makes it difficult to obtain internships. Mainly, it is due to a smaller number of companies, which causes fewer opportunities.

The University of Adelaide will be created after the merger in 2026, so choose wisely.
Tips: Adelaide being a pretty small city doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to literally anything. It becomes very selective and limited. Make sure you realise that early and get prepared for it and don't keep your expectations too high when studying at a so-called prestigious university.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is pretty good with several events conducted by the international student support and lots of club activities happening throughout the year on campus. There are more than 50 different clubs for sports, culture and activities that you can sign up for.
Dislikes (Value for money): I rated a star on value for money as the total cost is around 70000 AUD after receiving a 30% scholarship which is simply not justified for the quality of teaching or the faculty. I have had personally the worst experience working on a research project with a supervisor who doesn't care a dime.

An expensive dream come true.
Tips: I got a scholarship of 30% of my total college tuition fee. Living abroad is tough and very expensive. Students should understand that the tuition is a small part of their total expenses. The cost of living per annum in Adelaide is INR 20 lakhs minimum. Please consider this before making a move to study abroad. A bottle of water can cost you INR 200 so please consider a cost of living that is 5x that of India.
Likes (Indian Food): Indian food is available in abundance anywhere in the world. You will find a lot of eating very expensive options so be very careful. I prefer to cook all my meals which in itself can be a lot of work because that also involves washing dishes etc.
Dislikes (Value for money): Compared to other universities for post-graduation study abroad, the University of Adelaide is highly affordable for a university that is ranked in the top 100 in the world. There are also plenty of opportunities for a scholarship. The teaching faculty and amenities are brilliant. Don't settle for a university that's cheaper in tuition fees and compromises the quality of your education. It's an investment for your long-term success.

The university is more research-focused than academic.
Tips: I was able to get 30% off my tuition based on my grades from my bachelor's. However, I am not satisfied. This university is more research-focused than academic. None of the lectures is mandatory because everything is recorded. The university also takes plagiarism very seriously.
Likes (Part time work): Working off-campus for students is a great option, but there's a limit of 48 hours per week. Finding jobs can be challenging, but everyone seems to manage. If you're going to work cash jobs, make sure you provide those to the taxman. Full-time work is often paid monthly, but most other gigs pay bi-weekly. The hours are easy to work around my studies, and I make about 1000 AUD fortnightly.
Dislikes (Internships): There is a support system for internships, but they will only help you with resumes and cover letters, nothing more. You can do an internship, but you have to find it yourself. Also, if you want units for that internship, then it has to be unpaid. Paid internships are considered in your working hours.

Tips: Initially, I was concerned about the transition to this university, but it turned out to be a smooth one. I fit in perfectly and didn't feel like there was anything I couldn't do. I didn't have any scholarships before joining and I had applied for it through clearing. The city is very warm and welcoming. Safest city for students. Focus on work and tasks assigned to you.
Tips: Students coming should know the difference in education between India and Western countries. Understand the structure of your course modules in order to improve your overall work and studies. Work on assignments and projects as soon as you receive them instead of leaving them last minute.
Likes (Safety): One of the safest cities in this country. A small and bustling town, it is very quiet and safe to travel in even at night. However certain amount of caution must always be observed. Staying in groups at night or using public transportation is a good way to keep vigilance.
Dislikes (Part time work): Not enough part time opportunities in the city and University. Yet there are multiple job opportunities being created by the University. Life at Swansea University is satisfying in terms of both academics and personal growth.
Tips: As for transitioning to Swansea University, it's common to face a cultural shift, with the difference in language, food, social customs, and academic expectations. Regarding scholarships, Swansea University offers various scholarship opportunities for international students based on merit. I find the University, course fulfilling.
Likes (Safety): It is safe to be in and around the university at any time of the day. There are bus services throughout the night available for students who study late at night in the university library. I have not had any bad experiences in the city so far.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transport is not always reliable, but the frequency is good. You have various buses going to and fro from the Singleton campus to the Bay campus. The prices are confirmed to be increased from next month, which is a big setback for students.

Fantastic experience. And it's worth to study in Swansea University
Tips: There is quite a change which is good. Studies are more oriented in practical form and a cultural shift is definitely there. Coming from North Indian spending a-lot of time with south Indian and multi-culture communities from all around the world was quite good, knowing their culture and accommodating with open-minded people, was one of the best experiences I've seen and felt in a while. Scholarships are available for Swansea University to attain a 4000 scholarship by doing proper research. My satisfaction level from the university is 90/100, from the course 100/100, and from the country, it completely depends on how you handle situations, for me it is 100/100.
Likes (Safety): People, staff, teachers are quite helpful, they have a quite good hold on the mental health of the students, as well as teachers keep their students quite comfortable and are always at ease to help. Security is quite good. They also have regular security checks on people in the day and night as well, running throughout the campus. I have stayed at university late night till 3 am also and did not feel unsafe at all.
Dislikes (Internships): Internship facilities are not exclusively available through the campus, we need to search on website manually from time to time. No other facility are provided by the campus on their own in the form of emails or any particular dedicated job web page on the university web page. That was a little off-set part. But teaching methods and examination are kept quite good in control to develop skills through-out the year.

Great university to do Masters in.
Tips: The difficult level is not easy, you have to put great effort into the assignments and subjects to get good grades. They have scholarships. The course itself is satisfying. The place is lush with greenery and has a private beach just next to the campus.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty members are really helpful and informative. They teach very well and support us with our queries in the support sessions conducted every week. They guide us in our projects and assignments. The facilities are also par. You have a fully equipped 24/7 library.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): For permanent immigration, you will have a get a sponsored job soon. Most companies do not offer sponsored jobs. Even after getting a sponsored job, we would have to work for another 5 years to get PR. Given a chance, I would like to permanently immigrate to this country. The country offers good value for the work we do.

Swansea University is a good college.
Tips: Be prepared to have a cultural shock and for cold and the weather. Be polite and kind with greeting people. There is a completely different studying pattern here than what we have in India. University culture is a bit different and many events take place all the time.
Likes (Safety): The city is quite safe and friendly. The people are kind and welcoming. The place is absolutely safe even at night times. There are people to help always if you ever need help. The people are very accommodating to you. It feels like home in a few months and a lovely place to live in.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It's hard to find sponsored jobs with post-study visa. Most of the companies are not willing to hire based on PSW. So if you want sponsored jobs, it is hard to find jobs that you like. But people get jobs with just PSW too but no sponsorship. So in the end it depends on what type of job you want.

Satisfied with the University
Tips: The University in question holds a strong and admirable reputation, yet, like any academic institution, it is not without its minor imperfections. Overall, my experience with this university has been highly satisfactory. Its positive attributes far outweigh the minor problems that may arise, making it a valuable and enriching place for higher education.
Likes (Safety): This vibrant student city is characterized by its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The local community embrace newcomers with open arms, creating a warm and inclusive environment. Throughout my time here, I've consistently felt the hospitality and friendliness of the people, making it a truly welcoming place for students.
Dislikes (Internships): Securing part-time employment in this university town can be challenging due to the high demand among the numerous students seeking work opportunities. The competition is tough, and the job availability may be limited. However, the university's reputation and academic and academic resources still make it an appealing choice for students.

BSc (Hons) Accounting - Batch of 2022
Offered by Swansea University
4.2
Swansea is good for accounting and B-courses.
Tips: I can't say there is a lot of cultural shift as it varies from person to person for me it wasn't that much issue as like a student I like doing things all by myself or balancing life between academics and part-time. Make sure to prepare yourself for all these challenges rest everything else will be good. I came here only for accounting to do it with ACCA and the course was good. There's a lot of learning even from your batchmates. I got a scholarship of 4000 pounds and I was satisfied with it. Make sure you research well before taking any course.
Dislikes (Student Life): A typical day in Swansea as a student is not very hectic the classes are flexible unlike in India. Students do get time in between the classes as there are good breaks. There are many events organised by the college like outdoor cinemas every once in a while. Students can find out about the events on the event page and emails are also sent about the same. Sports are good, the college supports Swansea FC football club which is currently playing in the Championship league of English football. There are student clubs which are either diverse or are focused on one ethnic group suppose there are Indian community groups or there can be a drama club which is typically diverse. Also, there are reading groups where I used to indulge more with and it is a great experience to make new friends and meet new people.

BSc (Hons) Economics - Batch of 2021

Safe place to stay, good for higher education.
Tips: No matter from what part of India you are the transition is bound to take place. Make sure you interact with other fellow students and it will be better if you can develop some relations with the facilities team too. The entire team is forthcoming and helpful. I personally haven't availed of any scholarship but many Indian students are on some kind of fee waivers, so get some knowledge about them. The course is Industry-oriented and is very precise. The professors have International publications in top economic and business journals. This place is good, the environment is pretty clean, you can chill and relax, the people are generous. What else does one want in a foreign land.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Overall the faculty is experienced and helpful but sometimes you can also encounter an eccentric professor. Make sure to submit your assignments timely so as to not create any kind of difference with the tutors. Listen to what they have to say and then question them rather than trying to outsmart them which will create the problems only.
Dislikes (Internships): Good internships are available but make sure that they are to be applied on time otherwise, there won't be many options. The college also guides when it comes to the internship part however many students look out for them on LinkedIn so make sure that the profile is updated timely. For economics, there are many internships available but you'll be required to showcase your skills, particularly the number game. Think accordingly.

Good facilities and helpful staff in Swansea
Tips: If you love nature, hospitality and diversity come to this university. Everyone here is helpful and supportive. From library facilities to the careers department everyone helps out with any query or issue faced. Student support and MyUnihub services are above par. There are also many student bodies that are working up to the mark however with some more funding to these bodies, they will do better. The faculty is also very knowledgeable and helpful and the college assists you with getting internships which is a key factor in getting a job in the UK. As a student, you will like being in Swansea and will make many friends.

This is a good university for International students
Tips: I got the international excellence scholarship of 4000 pounds and students who are meritorious can get that too. There are many scholarships that the students can get information about from the official website at the time they apply. Every year when the application starts you should fill out the forms if you are applicable. Some of the professors are very nice to you and will help and guide you throughout your course. Try that you get in touch with any student from this college to know more about accommodation and expenses especially if you are coming here for undergrad.
Likes (Safety): Good environment, good and helpful people and no worry about security on the campus. People sometimes say that they have faced a bit due to their colour, actually it is not racism but just a bit of bias, however, I have not seen anything like that. There are many students from Africa and India too and everything seems alright to me.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian Food is very expensive and does not have good taste. When I was studying I used to cook with my friend. It was fun to do that and wasn't very expensive. Even foods from the West will cost you a lot as compared to what their price was back in India. As a student, it is good to eat by making your own food.

Good infrastructure and location
Tips: I attended Swansea University to study Aerospace Engineering and I found that the student life was alright. As it was quite difficult to find a good housing facility within budget as there are very few off-campus housing options. For me, the quality and way of teaching of the lecturers was not what I expected. Apart from this, the university offers good infrastructural facilities. The university has thriving student communities, with a range of clubs and societies for students to get involved in. The location of the university is quite soothing and peaceful.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality and the way of teaching of the lecturers was not up to the mark. There was a huge language barrier. The faculty of Swansea University expect you to come prepared. The faculty members do not go much into the technical aspects of the subject as much as other universities.

It is good to build the connections in Swansea.
Tips: I believe that every international student somehow someway transitions after coming here. There are many good clubs, restaurants and beautiful places around the university. I have not received any scholarship. The course was very practical and taught me many things that are still helping me. I am still in touch with my professors and I will recommend you to do the same as well because this will help you as faculty has connections with other students too which might help you with getting a job in UK.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is an employment zone in Swansea which can help with getting a job or if there is any idea about a startup. Otherwise, there are many off-campus jobs students take up here. I was working at MacDonalds during my first year and I quite enjoyed it. It is very manageable, work permit being 20 hours/week. At Mac-D I used to get 10 GBP/hour.

Cost of living is not much. Recommended university.
Tips: If you come to Swansea there's nothing to worry about. The college has a beautiful locality nearby where you can go and relax and can even read. There are students from across the world so the university is very diverse. Also, the cost of living here is not that much so if you are someone who can not live in the big cities because of the cost incurred this university should be on your list. The weather here is usually good it is moderate but sometimes it gets very cold in winter but there are many facilities in UK so no need to worry about it.

Helpful faculty and good college for research
Tips: Make up your mind before coming here. Transition is not that much easy as it would seem as a student you will have to take care of yourself here be it cooking, cleaning or even interacting with people here a transition is everywhere so be sure of that. I received a thrive bursary scholarship of 4000 pounds. There are many student societies here also there is a Hindu society and so much to do after classes too.
Likes (Quality of faculty): It is very easy to reach out to the faculty here. You as a student can just drop them an email and they will respond to every query or doubt you are having. Even during COVID, my professors were very responsive on top of that they are very experienced almost all of them have publications across various international journals.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is employability academy here where students can get help finding jobs and there are also counsellors who assist you. But if I talk about placements then there is not much help provided by the university. There is not much to placements but the research opportunities here are good. If you are keen on doing that after your Masters then yes definitely this is the right university for you.

Your transition will be slow but it will be smooth
Tips: The professors here are very experienced, they are very caring and helpful. I felt there was an abrupt cultural shift even Indian students who have been here for quite a time had felt out of place. When I came to this university I felt a bit alienated at first but slowly I understood and paced up and the transition was slow but I would say it was hassle free. Being an International student here you'll have to adapt to the weather as it is very cold during winters and if you are from India this is something to keep in mind. Student clubs are functioning up to the mark and the Alumni association is also good you will receive constant follow-ups from them after you have graduated.

Good facilities for both academic and non-academic, helping students get maximum out of college.
Tips: Swansea university has amazing faculty, student body, and resources to help students. Study space, halls etc are available. Student life is amazing with loads of different kinds of places to hang out at are present. The residential facilities at the university are amazing. Course structures are designed to benefit the students at maximum possible level.
Likes (Student Life): Swansea is majorly a student town and there are many places where you can grab student discounts. It's safe and night life is quite good too. Student accommodations are great and secure. You have 24/7 library with separate space for Masters/PhD etc. Students also get dedicated silent space in the library.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There aren't many PR options in the UK. You need to land a job and work for 5/6 years before you can get one. PSW doesn't count towards those years. And it's a bit hard to get a job with sponsorship. Given current market situation the increased competition has gone even a bit harder.

It is good but very stressful
Tips: There is a cultural shift here but it is good to know a new culture. I can say I am not disappointed, I got a scholarship of 3000 pounds from the university because I am from India. Here, the first thing I can say is to learn to cook very well because the outside restaurant food is not tasty.
Likes (Safety): People in swansea are good and we have police in every crowded area. Compared to other cities around here this place is slightly cheaper and safer as it is a tourist spot so we have lot of places to explore and they are safe also. We even have choppers at beach in the night patrolling sometimes.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not many part time jobs are available. When it comes to sponsorship there are not many we can find here. For citizens, they can find but for students, it is a little difficult. There are different kinds of roles in jobs we can get but if there is a local person in the interview with you he will get it for sure.

Part-time is a struggle. Faculty is top-notch.
Tips: I was impressed by the university's buildings and the teaching methods. It's very different from back home it's almost like entering a whole new world. The methods and principles and the attitude of the faculty all is different. I liked this transition as I'm getting to learn why this and why that.
Likes (Safety): The safety is top-rated. The fire systems, the state of the art laboratories all are well-built in order to keep a high priority on safety. There were instances when the university had everyone exit the building due to small smoke detected. This shows how fast the safety systems work.
Dislikes (Part time work): The part-time available here is very low. Even several last-intake students weren't able to find one until now. The reason might be many students but fewer opportunities. All employers prefer people ready\dy to do full-time work. And this is covered by dependent visa category.
