Academically rewarding and personally transformative milestone.
Tips: The biggest thing you need to realize before coming to Edinburgh is that the academic style here is a massive shift from what you're probably used to. The uni expects you to be completely independent and steer your own learning, which is exciting but definitely a bit of a shock to the system at first. You're fully accountable for your own schedule. On the plus side, the campus vibe is incredibly welcoming, and you’re surrounded by people from all over the world, which makes the whole culture shock way easier to handle.
Financially, I managed to lock down the £5,000 India Merit Scholarship after they reviewed my grades, which was a massive help. Honestly, the student support systems here are a total lifesaver when you're feeling overwhelmed. But if I have to give one honest piece of advice to anyone thinking about applying: do your homework on the costs. You really need to sit down, weigh your options, and crunch the numbers on the ROI before committing to the move, because studying in the UK right now is a huge financial investment.
Likes (Part time work): I gave part-time work a 5 because honestly, Edinburgh is packed with jobs whether you want to work on campus or out in the city. The university itself is always hiring students for random gigs like being an RA in the halls, doing admin help, or working campus events. If you look off-campus, there's an endless supply of bar work, cafe shifts, and retail jobs up and down the Royal Mile and the rest of the city. The best part is that the university jobs are incredibly flexible with your timetable, so you don't have to ruin your grades just to make rent. You usually make anywhere from £12.60 to £15 an hour, which is decent cash. As long as you aren't blowing your money every weekend, that hourly rate is more than enough to cover your day-to-day living costs and keep you afloat here.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave the settlement options a 2 because honestly, trying to figure out a long-term path to stay in the UK right now is an absolute minefield. Don't get me wrong, studying up here at Edinburgh gives you a world-class education and the career prospects look great on paper, but actually moving from a student visa to permanent residency is a massive uphill battle. The whole process is completely gatekept by employer sponsorship, and with the government aggressively changing the Post-Study Work (PSW) rules and hiking up the salary thresholds for the 2026 intake, the goalposts keep moving. It’s just pure stress—especially if your industry is one of those fields where companies almost never sponsor visas. When you mix a highly competitive job market with constant immigration policy shifts—all while having a massive education loan hanging over your head that you need to pay back—the uncertainty is just exhausting.

One of the most diverse and beautiful universities in all of UK. Exquisite Location and good ranking
Tips: The University of Edinburgh is very academic and research-focused. A lot of the practical part of the studies is self-learning. The university is very diverse and helps you create a huge international network. They have a dedicated India Merit Scholarship for students from India, where they grant you £5000 if you have a 9.0+ CGPA.
Likes (Part time work): Edinburgh has plenty of part-time jobs both on and off campus. The city is dominated by students, so there are a lot of retail jobs available. The university’s ambassador program is also an interesting way to make some extra money. UK allows students to work 20 hours a week during studies.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The UK job market has been complicated lately with constant changes to the immigration rules. The market has been improving but at a slower than expected pace.
Getting a job on the graduate visa is not a problem but converting that into sponsorship gets difficult but not impossible.

University of Edinburgh student review
Tips: Look, if you're heading to Edinburgh, just brace yourself—those first few months are a massive hurdle. Total adjustment shock but it gets way easier once you actually get into the rhythm of things. Just don't expect a free ride with money if you delay your application like I did (missed out on scholarships completely because I applied way too late in the game). If you want any shot at funding or a bursary here, you seriously need to sort that out a whole year in advance. Still, pretty happy with the uni overall. The course could definitely afford to be a bit more hands-on and practical... but I guess that heavy independent research focus is just the name of the game at a traditional UK university like this.

Diverse and global.
Tips: The city is extremely safe and friendly. It’s a beautiful environment to be in. The university offers help if needed in various aspects and I had a nice time during my academic year. There was a cultural shift but if you find the right group of people, it becomes easier. The global exposure is massive.
Likes (Part time work): The university holds job fairs in the welcome week, where various organisations come in offering part time jobs that are easy and accessible. The pay is usually the minimum wage going on at the time or slightly higher depending on the organisation. The university itself has part time opportunities as well but I don’t know much about it.
Dislikes (Internships): We weren’t informed about any internship opportunities available. Within the university as well, options for internship work were limited. However, this is specific to the course I pursued and there could be other courses offering opportunities.

Great exposure and academics, great faculty, accessible learning, but expensive place to live.
Tips: Cultural shift in terms of weather for sure, and food spice levels, openness in culture, just the somewhat slow pace of life in comparison to Indian speed. Feels good to me. An Indian merit scholarship of 5000 was awarded automatically while enrolling depending on previous academic excellence. Very satisfied and it was a really good decision. However, my reasons are more personal, less career-seeking.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Very accessible faculty. Open to 1:1's. Accommodative and try to cater to all groups of subjects from beginners to possible experts. Teaching methodology is a balance of video prerecords, reading, case studies in preparation for a class and then about 2-4 hours of class depending on the subject. Excellent, well-rounded team in terms of various subjects and coursework with guest faculty and visiting elective courses. For our course, Diversity is spread across the UK/EU mostly and a few limited countries outside of that band.
Dislikes (Internships): Guidance is really good but in general, opportunities are lesser and due to visa work restrictions as well as internships more at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the internships for MBA at the consulting level are very less/in existent. Internships again are not very MBA-level, but there have been people who landed consultancy jobs in previous batches, very limited and mostly related to fintech with Big Four consultancy/big name backgrounds.

Tips: The biggest transition was academic style, which is heavily focused on self-study and critical thinking. Culturally, the shift was smooth, though the weather, ie quite gloomy. The university is well recognized; I had a great experience.
Tips: To be honest, back in India, the method of teaching is really different, and it takes some time to adapt. My university provides various scholarships, from a full scholarship to some percentage of the tuition fees.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I feel really fortunate to have had such a supportive and approachable faculty. They were excellent. The best part was to have mentors who have great connections and work experience across the globe.
Dislikes (Internships): No doubt there is a decent amount of guidance provided, in fact, the university organises various networking events and workshops as well. Yes, there are internships available across the UK. Still, a lot depends upon the job market and the field you are in.

A transitional turn-point of my personality.
Tips: You won't find any transition; just come with an open heart and mind to explore and accept everything. You can make the most of it. There are many scholarships available if you apply on time. I received the Dean's Excellence Award from the University. I received every possible support from the university, from academics to mental well-being. The course is culturally diverse, which gives you an edge to think outside your borders. Scotland is very beautiful, especially Edinburgh. It's a very safe and walkable city, with friendly faces and kindness in people's hearts.
Likes (Indian Food): There's no need to pack your bag with Indian food and spices; there are so many Indian and Asian shops in Edinburgh, and you can find everything here, from mustard oil to cereals! Plus, if you don't feel like cooking, there are also economical eating-out options.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no collaboration between the university and the industry for internships. Students have to find internships on their own, and the job market often prefers undergraduates for summer and winter internships over postgraduates, making it difficult for students to secure them.

Bridging cultures and building future.
Tips: The University of Edinburgh encourages students to think independently and become leaders. Take ownership of your studies and make your own decisions about your learning. I was able to make both cultural and academic improvements, and I’m pleased with my studies here.
Likes (Value for money): The University of Edinburgh gives us good returns like working for 2-3 years with a great pay and going back to your home country. The return on investment is good. The reputation you get after studying from this university is commendable, and everyone knows about the university. It has worldwide reach.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don’t prefer settling here permanently as I think we have abundant facilities back in our home country to grab. And the weather over here in Scotland is not suitable for me. Also, people here are very humble and easy-going, but hometown hits different.

There are lots of Indians, Indian stores and restaurants, so you'll not completely miss home.
Tips: For me, the transition felt very smooth and not difficult at all. If one has previously had to move to a different state for their studies and had to live by themselves in a PG or otherwise, this will feel the same, even though it's to a different country and continent altogether. The cultural shift isn't too extreme either, since it's heavily dependent on the friend group you are with, mostly. There are lots of Indians, Indian stores and restaurants, so you'll not completely miss home. You also get to experience the cultures of all the students from different countries if you befriend them, which is a great learning experience. I'd received the India Merit Scholarship, which is automatically given to eligible students based on their application and undergraduate scores, worth 5000 GBP. This is deducted from the tuition fee and not something that is given to the students directly. I'm honestly very satisfied with the university, course and country. While there are a few gripes that I have with the infrastructure available to the students, this has been a very fun and pleasant experience overall. Scotland and Edinburgh are extremely safe, very walkable, and amazing places to be, and the people are super sweet and friendly.
Likes (Student Life): An average day in college involves 2 to 3 hours of classes, which can be a mix of theory and lab classes. Lab classes are very well arranged in that they help you implement and practically learn what was taught in the theory classes. Depending on which campus the class is on, a decent chunk of time on campus might be spent on travelling between the campuses, though a bus service makes this very easy. In terms of events, there is something or the other happening almost every day and every week, whether it be social events or guest lectures and all sorts. While I don't participate very often, it's very fun when I do. In terms of clubs and societies, there are tons of them ranging from computer Science societies to dance clubs to sports clubs and more. Anything you're interested in, there is probably a club or society for it.
Dislikes (Value for money): I think the tuition fee for the course is significantly higher than the average and compared to other Russel League universities in the UK, and not completely justified. While I agree that the course faculty are amazing and student communities and opportunities are amazing, a lot of the services provided such as the computing infrastructure to the students in the course are not as good as you'd expect for the cost of the course.

The university provides strong guidance and resources for applying to and finding internships.
Tips: It was quite hard to adapt to survive here understanding the dialect adapting to food that isn't that spicy, etc. I was awarded the India Merit Scholarship which was awarded to academically highly ranked students. I would firmly say Edinburgh is the best place to live and explore. There is something here for everyone. It has the countryside charm, a magical place for Potterheads, and buzzing city life too. I am very much satisfied with the university, the course content and the country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are quite friendly and open to solving any of our queries regarding academics or professional advice when we reach out to them through email. They are also open to chats, depending on their availability. I find the teaching methodologies to be top-class, practical and insightful. The teaching faculty members are from diverse backgrounds, too, with excellent research fingerprints.
Dislikes (Internships): The university provides strong guidance and resources for applying to and finding internships. There is a dedicated Career Services that offers support throughout the entire process from CV building and interviews to networking and job search strategies. However despite this support, securing an internship in the UK can be quite difficult due to the competitive nature of the job market and visa-related constraints. That said, the available internships are highly relevant to my field of study and align well with my academic and professional goals.

Few administrative issues but a lot of opportunities for students.
Tips: Prepare yourself for the weather. It's very windy and chilly in general, but there are multiple good days, which makes you appreciate the sun. There are lots of cultural differences, and many different cultures, so it's nice to keep an open mind and try to meet new people. You will change in many ways unknowingly, but it will teach you to be more resilient. Also, socialising is tough, but it is literally the most important in the first year. It's nice to have friends who will support you. There are very specific scholarships with relatively small amounts of funding. They are course-specific, but each course has awards based on exceptional performance, which can grant you some allowance. I've been able to challenge myself by trying to learn more. Tutorials are very engaging. The university is quite good, too, however, there's a rift between the student council and administration regarding funding and investment. Scotland is very scenic and safe. It's not too tough to make friends.
Likes (Student Life): Extremely diverse range of societies. We can find something for almost any niche, and can make societies too. The students' union council is extremely supportive and also provides a lot of opportunities for students. Societies and people in them are very engaged and positive. For the academic, there are so many peer support groups, including one-on-one writing sessions, reading groups and of course, the professor's office hours. I feel very supported and included.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The UK, in general, has been implementing stricter immigration laws, so I'm not sure, maybe the chance of permanent immigration is 60%. I want to travel more before choosing a place to live, but this is a good place to live. Maybe somewhere warmer might suit me more, but there are a lot of opportunities for artists/creatives.

Transportation systems are affordable and dependable.
Tips: The University Accommodation was up to my expectations, and the University had a lot of events in the welcome week to make the transition easy for me. Adjusting to the weather was hard, but you get used to it eventually. Since there are multiple cultures, the cultural shift isn't extremely difficult. I did not receive any scholarship, so I am personally funding my time here. I am fairly satisfied with the university and the course and extremely satisfied by the city.
Likes (Safety): The city is extremely safe and student-friendly. I haven't had a single incident here. Public transport is readily available via buses and trams. The city is extremely walkable, which is especially helpful when the trams aren't running. I find the transportation system to be affordable and dependable. I haven't had any security concerns, either.
Dislikes (Internships): The University of Edinburgh offers a lot of part-time opportunities. However, there aren't many internship opportunities that are brought in by the university. If you are looking for internships, you have to rely on LinkedIn and other job posting sites. However, the University has an eager-to-help student development and career development hub that you can seek guidance from.

The university is culturally diverse and will offer you an array of networks.
Tips: The university is culturally diverse, and it might take some time to get adjusted to this. But everyone like you will be in the same boat. It might take a month or two to figure things out, but it eventually starts getting better. The University also ensures through different workshops to smoothen up the cultural transition for us through various events like potlucks. I am highly satisfied with my course as it is very well-structured and delivered. University of Edinburgh was my dream university and I am happy with my decision of choosing to study here.
Likes (Public transportation): The city has buses, trams, trains, taxis and Uber, like other UK cities. The prices are pretty much similar. I don't find it quite affordable to avail of the bus daily as my accommodation is just 15 minutes walking distance from the business school. Edinburgh is easily walkable. Be prepared for the slopes and the uphill climb around the city.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't want to permanently settle here for personal reasons, but it might be a nice place to settle if someone wants to, considering they have a high-paying job. The living costs are expensive. Other than that, Edinburgh is safer than most UK cities, with amazing air quality and literally no pollution. It is culturally diverse and will offer you an array of networks, considering you indulge in the same.

Tips: I found the city and the campus very student friendly and welcoming, which made my transition here much smoother and simpler than I had anticipated. The weather can be harsh, but the beautiful landscape makes up for it. Even though the academic programs can be intense, I have learned a lot through this experience. Make sure to balance your academics with other ongoing campus activities.

I enjoy so much while studying with different students. I learned so many new things and skills
Tips: You need to manage your studies and part-time job to balance your life. Also you can perform well in interviews so you can get a scholarship as well which is approximately 2000 pounds. And Hatfield is a nice village to live in, and also it's close to Heathrow Airport.
Likes (Safety): Because I never feel unsafe or comfortable here. Everyone is helpful. If you greet and show respect for others, then they are also willing to help you. Also, the university arranges so many functions so you can meet people from different countries and you can make new friends.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): If you got a good job that pays you good money, then by using your skills and experience, you can settle here easily. Best campus, friendly staff, Easy access to other places in campus. Quality faculties.
Tips: Before joining, students should understand course workload, living cost, and independence required. The transition involved adapting to the UK teaching style and multicultural environment. Scholarships may be merit-based with partial fee waivers. Overall, I am satisfied with the university, course, and opportunities in the UK.
Likes (Student Life): I gave student life a 5 because the whole vibe on campus is just really well-balanced. Your days are a mix of grinding through lectures and study sessions, but there's always time to just hang out and reset with friends. Hertfordshire is great at putting things on, too—there’s constantly some sort of cultural event, random workshop, or club meetup happening. It’s super easy to get involved, meet people outside your course, and actually have a proper social life instead of just locking yourself in your room with textbooks all day.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus part-time jobs in UK universities include library assistants, student ambassadors, research assistants, and campus support roles. Off-campus options include retail, hospitality, tutoring, and delivery jobs. Work is manageable with academics if limited to 15-20 hours/week. Average pay is around £312-315.

Good exposure and strong academics.
Tips: The majority of the study should be done yourself. Modules are way to pass one you get the pattern but that knowledge alone isn't enough to get jobs. The practical experience of working on projects is good and getting in touch with any of the professors would help later for recommendations purpose.
Likes (Value for money): The fees for the university are less for Master's courses compared to Russell group universities but the faculty is amazing and you get enough opportunities for exposure. The university is also student oriented so any issues are quickly resolve and most of the time spent there was free of stress.
Dislikes (Part time work): The average payout is a minimum wage of 12 pounds but opportunities are less. As Hatfield is a small place and not many part times jobs are available. The majority of people worked in London or Luton but commute there and Hatfield takes time and money so not worth it.

Tips: Before joining this college, I felt a little bit nervous but after a few days I felt comfortable. Our university provided scholarships by using the Blackbullion website, we will get more than 500 pounds per year until our course is completed. I am very satisfied with my university, course and this country because they taught me a life like how to face problems, how to handle situations, and moreover how to survive in this world without anyone's help. Those who are planning to go abroad just remember one thing - simply don't trust anyone blindly. Learn yourself, then only you will understand our parents hardwork.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Not only I but many students who have recently graduated are facing immigration challenges. I am presently on a PSW visa and have attended several interviews. I was unsuccessful due to visa related reasons. Nowadays many companies are not willing to provide visa sponsorship for immigrants.

University is quite supportive and also they award your skills and your knowledge.
Tips: Get work experience before going for Master's degree. For students who are coming for Master's just as soon as they complete a Bachelor's degree without any sort of work experience will be hard to get a job. This is not just for the university that I went to but also in general, pretty much any university.

The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, although there is room for more industry exposure.
Tips: There is no need for a cultural adjustment, as the majority of students are Indian and Asian. If you're looking to experience a new culture, it may be challenging in the UK, as you will mostly see familiar faces. Also, job opportunities after graduation are scarce.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, although there is room for more industry exposure. They are approachable and open to discussions. Teaching methods include case studies, projects, and interactive approaches. The faculty has a moderate level of international diversity.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very costly, especially train travel. The cost makes it difficult for international students to afford, given the exchange rate. Additionally, some areas lack public transportation facilities, making travel challenging.

The university is worth every penny.
Tips: If the university offers placement courses try to choose a placement based course so you can stay in school longer. Since every course is different and you can find the same course name with different focuses, make sure you choose the best fit for you. I would suggest that you do your homework and look at the curriculum before signing up for anything. You will have one more year as a student which means you have more time to participate in school functions and to enjoy the student life and environment.

The college is really nice and the faculty are very helpful.
Tips: The first few months are difficult, but then you get used to life socially. It is a bit difficult if you come in winter as the daylight is low and it's very quiet outside. You may feel depressed sometimes, but summers are really good, and you will love it. There is only one Indian restaurant among all the English restaurants in the area. However, there are good food options in Edgware and Watford, which are easily accessible by public transportation. St. Albans is another good option, but it is a bit more expensive. Eventually, you will get used to eating English food. I am satisfied with the country.
Likes (Part time work): You can find part-time jobs easily in local social warehouses. When you come to London you should have a good CV. You can get a part-time job in a warehouse and the DHL warehouse is a good option.

The university is academically oriented and has a strong academics.
Tips: The university has an excellent program for students. The teachers take very good care of the students. The staff members are always very helpful, caring, and supportive. My teachers always give students personal attention, so everyone is always clear about their work. I never got bored or homesick while attending the University of Hertfordshire. The campus is huge and there are lots of activities to do. The university provides all the resources you need to feel at home, happy, and safe. I'm very happy with my university. I've learned a lot, and I'm very satisfied with the course and the country. I'd like to learn more in my field of study, and I feel that my university has helped me a lot.

Good academics but high cost and limited job support.
Tips: Students should know that the college offers good academics but limited career support and high living costs here involve adapting to a diverse culture and a more independent lifestyle. I didn't get a scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with the university and course but the high expenses and the job market competitiveness in the country can be challenging.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are good post-study job appointments, but limited sponsorship options. Around 2030, most sponsored jobs are junior positions with a salary package of around 30,000 Pounds, depending on the industry.
Dislikes (Value for money): The education quality as decent, but the tuition fee is a bit high compared to the facilities and resources provided. More practical exposure and Oregon update resources would better justify the cost for the overall learning experience.

Value for money and peaceful
Tips: Expect only Asian and South African students in the class don't expect white people to be there. Classes are different and the college feels like we are in India because most of them are Indians. Save some money like 2000 atleast and don't keep expectation that you will get a part time job right after coming here and also learn driving before coming to the UK.
Likes (Value for money): Low feels good standards people are good and they won't force you to pay the feels and you can pay in monthly instalments as well so student friendly. You will get an attempt to the failed exams. In UK your college doesn't matter only your skills will.
Dislikes (Internships): There are people to guide you in every step from cv making and consulting about career. If you have the right skills it's easy to get a job here. Do online courses as much as you can and add up to your cv. Degree is only useful if you have skills you can work in any field in the UK.

Easy to access from London to university of Hertfordshire via king cross.
Tips: I didn't avail any kind of scholarship. There is always a cultural shift. When you travel from one country to another. I'm happy with my university and the course. On a scale of 5 I would rate 3.5. When you ask me about the country it's a beautiful country.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is 45 minutes from the city. You can get halfway from campus to the city by university bus and then use national rail. It's a bit expensive when it comes to travelling from campus to the city would be around 12 two-way if I'm not wrong. Public transportation in the city is cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): You get good guidance finding internships. They help you in and out how to prepare a CV as well. In every other university, they have it on their website or an app where you can find jobs related to your field. But getting an internship, in your respective field is hard.

Delivering high quality education.
Tips: This college is ranked among top University in the UK. So, students should know some important things before joining the college. They should take counselling for the process of admission and other necessity for coming here. The diversity is good here so it won't be a problematic thing for the Indian students. You should gather the latest data about scholarships and acceptance rates for international students. I am truly satisfied with the University, course and country.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I had to settled permanent here in the UK there are many options for me. As an Indian, we get work visas from companies. They sponsor visas and as long I am working there, the settlement problems are low. If you want to apply for permanent residence you can check the requirements as every year the data changes. But, the longer migrants stay here, the more likely they are to have acquired settlement. I would like to permanently immigrate to this country if given a chance.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The post study jobs at the University of Hertfordshire are quite good in numbers. Many big companies like Barclays, EY, HSBC, McKinsey & Company and others offer sponsor visas. Teach Giants offers visas to Indian students. The roles and packages vary from low to high according to market demands. It's a great place for further studies for aspiring Indian students.

Hertfordshire has multicultural experience that enables international students to adjust
Tips: They have dedicated postgraduate programs that will help any student discover more about our study spaces, delivery methods, and what to expect at herts.
On-campus accommodation with a variety of rooms available and also University allows students to get involved in a wide range of Co-curricular activities designed to boost their CV with courses ranging from business and psychology, law and Engineering, sports and animation. The average cost of living in Hertfordshire for students, excluding tuition fees is approximately 800-1200 pounds per month. The campus has a very big, spacious, open campus with a lot of greenery, activities, and all events all year around.

Easygoing and affordable.
Tips: Most of the students are from India and Nigeria so if you are looking for international exposure in your course then you are most unlikely to have it. But you will get many opportunities through events and societies to mingle with others and broaden your network.
Likes (Public transportation): From university to anywhere you have various buses available and to go to London you have a train option which is really convenient. It's not far from London so you can explore the city whenever you want to. And also you can travel to nearby places for jobs and other stuff.
Dislikes (Internships): University has a different department for internships and the entire team will guide you if you need any guidance or help. Also, they have placement and opportunity portals where you can find multiple opportunities. Also, there are some events which the university will arrange and companies will be coming to hire interns and part-time job seekers.

The quality of the education is moderate
Tips: The students have to be financially strong to live in a country like UK. There is a cultural shift because we have to adopt new traditions to the situations here. The university provided a bursary but still I face a few issues making arranging for the monthly expenses.
Likes (Indian Food): There are very less stores available In the location so we get fewer original food. We are unable to get the food items that we need and face issues with the food we cook or getting orders online. But still, you can manage if you love to eat non-veg.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university is focused on providing the basic needs. There is no deeper knowledge provided on the subject and no other well-being sessions are taken care of. The quality of the education is moderate and requires more attention towards the teaching and facilities

University is good for Studies with additional activities.
Tips: One should know about the course work and modules which he/she is taking up. Additional self research work by the students is important before landing onto the course. Students should manage their own life and studies. Importance on all aspects is given. Any study related matters are given importance.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Quality of education is very good with 24/7 online support. Library access is provided with sports halls. Additional study matter is given with lectures and tutor support. Assignment assistant and education assistant on every aspect is given by the university. One should also take care of his/her own security.
Dislikes (Safety): Students' hub is safe for all the students. City safety matters too so the overall safety is good. Security on campus and guidance on safety by university is provided. Overall, assistance on safety is provided with additional safety measures for girls.

Faculties and study will match your high expectation.
Tips: If students want to shop and site seeing on a frequent basis, then don't choose this university, as I hear a lot of students complaining the same. London may be just 30 mins away from here, but the expensive tickets would make you think twice before moving out of the city frequently.
Talking about the studies and the faculties, you can keep high expectation since the tuition fee and off-campus accommodation is more affordable compared to other colleges in London.
One thing to note after applying, do not apply BRP receiving at university address, always chose to collect it from the post office. Local post shall deliver it to you within a few days. University may take up to a month to sort and issue the BRP to the students.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportations are pretty expensive here. It's always better to walk or buy a cycle. It takes a passenger to pay first and then move to the seating area, which makes it pretty frustrating when there's a long queue to board the bus. But we have no other choice other than opt for public transport to cover long distances.

Great campus including all the facilities with inbuilt accomodation.
Tips: The learning and resource center at both college lane and dehav campus is enormous. Big enough to fit 700/ 1000 students in one library. All the resources essential for course will be present either in digital format or hard print. Access to multiple websites for research purposes. Also handshake which is job portal for university remains active for a certain period of time. Also you can refer to previous study lectures on canvas. The options for multi Indian food items are available in town center however a bit pricey in comparison to India. Basketball court, football and gym activities are present in university campus itself. Also at the same time
restaurants and internal entertainment dance floor are available to unwind.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors were really helpful in the formation of structured program. The online/offline module was well reached, assignment were R&D based where students will try the approach of open book and get the optimized solutions. Also, the hybrid combination of online exams was present during my course work. The recorded lecture is useful for doubt solving in future revisions.
Dislikes (Internships): I personally did not choose a placement course. However, a few of my friends from A.I/Data Science background who opted for a placement course were unable to secure an internship during the placement year. Possibly the post covid effects are the concern.
