College is well equipped but few staffs are very annoying.
Tips: The journey of applying for college is as difficult as studying and working for the college. And as if college is not enough, the teachers here are very strict, which definitely adds to the stress. Here, there is no getting away from the stress of the college work. You have to sacrifice everything, including being with the people you care about. There's always public transport 24/7, and it's cheaper than other options. There's even a student discount where you can save money. And the buses are air-conditioned! Public transport isn't available in all areas, though, and there are limits on how long it's available. There are a number of thefts, and there's no privacy to walk on the road during the day or night, regardless of gender. We have even seen people point guns at students just to snatch their phones, and there have been known cases of stab injuries.

Good university for dedicated students.
Tips: The quality of education and experience at this university is amazing. But it's up to the student to do the work. If you're focused and balanced, you'll do well. Attend classes, study, and revise. Get enough sleep, and make time for your hobbies and interests. If you do all that, you'll succeed. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Student Life): If you plan properly, the curriculum at this university is quite flexible, which allows you to have a good balance between your social and academic life. There is also an event called "M.Ed Night" for medical students, where you can participate in a variety of games, and quizzes, and even dance.
Dislikes (Part time work): The Philippines doesn't allow student visa holders to work in the country. To work, you must have a working visa or a local Filipino family to act as your guardian and take responsibility for you. Considering the cost of living and tuition, it really doesn't make sense.

Tips: Faculty are very knowledgeable and assist us with internships. As for scholarships, there weren't any available. The weather and environment are also good, almost the same as in India. I am satisfied with this university.

The agency and the college's greed for money made the college bad.
Tips: It's best to avoid this college. There are other colleges in the Philippines that offer better education and clinical knowledge. Academically, it's not good, as question papers are often repeated, and they now teach using recorded PPTs more often than before.
Likes (Public transportation): Connectivity is excellent from the airport to the college and nearby amenities. Hypermarkets and small shops are nearby, with 7/11 and Alfamart available in many locations. Buses, including air-conditioned ones, are readily available to nearby cities, making transportation convenient.
Dislikes (Value for money): The current internships are not as good as they used to be. They were good before the pandemic, but have declined since then. There are now more foreign students, making it feel like there are more interns than patients. We are rarely allowed to see procedures or work with patients, and mostly do paperwork.

It's better stay away from this college. After corona everything went sideways.
Tips: There are no scholarships available at this college. Classes are not integrated with local students. The university's academic standards have declined recently. Furthermore, sports receive little attention. Medical internships now offer very limited hands-on experience.
Likes (Public transportation): It's right on the main road and easily accessible. Jeepneys, buses, and tricycles are available for easy transport. Everything is nearby, including hypermarkets, 7/11, and Alfamart on every corner. This is the same throughout the Philippines.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is no option for part-time jobs since it's illegal there. Also, getting a job there is tough, and class times are so random that we won't have time to work. There are a few people who do delivery jobs, but they are very few.

Tips: Students should be aware of their chosen program's academic requirements. They should understand the importance of time management and familiarize themselves with available campus resources. They should also develop strong communication skills and consider potential career paths related to their major. I felt that the learning environment was conducive to my success. I had strong social connections with my peers, and I enjoyed participating in extracurricular activities. The faculty was supportive, and I felt a sense of community. I was given opportunities for personal growth, and I felt that my workload was balanced. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Dislikes (Part time work): The main reason I rated my part-time job low is due to the lack of commitment from the employer. This lack of commitment is demonstrated by inconsistent scheduling, inadequate training, low pay, poor work-life balance for the employee, lack of career progression opportunities, an uninspiring work environment, and a lack of clear expectations from the employer regarding responsibilities and performance standards.

University of Perpetual Help does not allow students to work part time.
Tips: Students are not allowed to work on a student visa, so they can only go to the classes. You can't work without a work visa, and you shouldn't try to get around this requirement. There are no scholarships for this university. The course load is heavy, and you will need to study a lot. The country is okay, and the people are friendly and I felt safe walking around even at night. The campus is good and big, and the weather is always hot and rainy. The culture is different from ours, but it is safe and you will find other Indians there.

The experience of studying at University of Perpetual Help was very rewarding.
Tips: The Filipino culture is warm and welcoming, but it took some time to adjust. The people here are incredibly friendly, and the sense of community is strong. The food was a major shift for me. It took some time to get used to dishes like adobo and sinigang, but now I really enjoy it! The tropical weather and festivals like Sinulog and Pahiyas were also new experiences for me. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship that covered part of my tuition. While the scholarship didn't include a living stipend, it significantly eased the financial burden. I also work part-time to cover other expenses, which is manageable alongside my studies. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my experience here.
Likes (Value for money): The University of Perpetual Help is cheaper than universities in India, which is why many students choose to study there. However, living expenses are higher in the Philippines, so students should keep that in mind. Despite the higher cost of living, the University of Perpetual Help provides a good education at a reasonable cost.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are somewhat limited but available, especially in roles like library assistants, administrative helpers, or event coordinators. These jobs are usually reserved for students with good academic standing and often involve flexible hours to accommodate class schedules. Off-campus part-time jobs are more varied. Many students take up roles in retail, customer service, tutoring, or online freelancing. Balancing part-time work and academics is manageable, as long as students prioritize time management. There are very limited internship opportunities.
Tips: This university is good, and you will gain skills while you are here. The new rules of the National Medical Commission (NMC) do not allow graduates from the Philippines to obtain a license to practice in India. If you are planning to come here, you will need to be strong in order to deal with the many complications that may rise.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I like the city of Las Pinas in Metro Manila, Philippines. It's a great place to settled down because it's accessible and the cost of living is affordable. However, I would never settled down there because India is a much better place to live. While the cost of living in Las Pinas is low, the living standards are not good. Fortunate, there are many visa options available.
Dislikes (Internships): This internship has been a great learning experience. I've gained valuable hands-on experience working with patients and understanding clinical workflows. It's also been a great opportunity to build professional relationships and improve my decision-making skills in real-time situations. Tips: Please don't come to this university. You'll regret it. There are lots of other universities out there. Before you go to any university, ask students who are already there, not a consultant. The university is average and does not offer any opportunities. Some companies provide jobs in Russia, but not as many as in other developed cities. You can work for Ozon, Rostic, Yandex Eda, or Camokat, and there are many other options. You can also earn money by working online. You can tell them that you will work five hours a day, and they will pay you for it.

The tuition fee for my course is justified because of the quality of education, the resources provided, and the opportunities available to students. Additionally, the college provides numerous networking opportunities through internships and industry partnerships. Overall, it has been a satisfactory experience here.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking for myself because I know how to cook and I like my food a certain way. However, if I were to eat out, I would choose Charkaborti, Banana Leaf, or Taste of India. Charkaborti is a bit pricey at 250 rubles per meal, Banana Leaf is 300 rubles per meal, and Taste of India is 140 rubles per meal.

Good university with little hustles.
Tips: Living expenses were a bit high, the hostels were a bit expensive, and I had to learn Russian because this is not an English-speaking country. I also had to hustle while travelling on buses, and I faced some language barrier issues while doing my internship. The native Russian people were friendly, but the language barrier caused some problems.
Likes (Part time work): Getting a work permit is easy. Just get the "spravka" from the dean's office. This document is essential for landing part-time jobs at well-known establishments like KFC, McDonald's, and busy supermarkets. With this document, you can unlock endless opportunities.

Tips: If you are an international student, this university is a good choice because of its location, food availability, and other important factors. However, the weather conditions are poor for Indian students, especially during the winter months when it is very cold. Bashkir State Medical University has a good safety record. There are many dormitories and buildings, but they are always safe. The security is very good for students living in dormitories or studying in buildings.
