Fantastic college that outshines most of the popular private universities.
Tips: There is a cultural difference. People coming from India will need time to adjust to Austin and the US. UT offers a scholarship along with your admission letter. You can still mail and apply, but the success rate is very low. I earned a scholarship of 5000 with my admission letter. The best way to get a scholarship is to apply in the first round. I am very satisfied with the university, still adjusting to the country. I would say the course is good, but it's very important to know that it is more analytical than described on the website.
Likes (Public transportation): UT students can use all the public transportation in Austin for free. The bus services are great and are mostly on time. The bus services cover all the major areas of Austin that students would like to visit. Even if you have a guest coming over, the bus pass is also very affordable.
Dislikes (Part time work): This is a 10-month course, and due to this, there is no option for TA/RA/Internship. There are many part-time opportunities, but due to a very tight schedule, student of this course cannot do most of them. The ones we can do are for PTS (Parking and Transportation Services) and Dining. The average pay is $14.

Tips: Initially, studying here can seem intimidating, but the people are warm and helpful. It took me a semester to adjust to my classes and establish a routine. While play is emphasised as much as work, you are expected to do your best in assignments and projects to be taken seriously. I chose this program to gain a better understanding of policy-making and history, and it has not disappointed.

Interesting and diverse.
Tips: Texas is a very unique city offering all aspects of the American life in one place. The cost of living is reasonable compared to other states, but securing on-campus housing is a task. You can skip the orientation; it's not that useful anyway, but make sure your housing is sorted and that you have a functioning account. The international students mixer is where I found my friends.

Tips: While the University of Texas has many strengths, my experience here has been mixed. I took a while to settle here and the orientation was brief and unhelpful at least according to me. WNE university is the great college i ever seen in my life where it is having the great atmosphere
Tips: WNE University is located in Massachusetts, which experiences a distinct four-season climate, but I became habituated to those climates within a week. Yes, I availed 3000 dollars of scholarship; they offered it to me during the admission only. 4.5/5 is my rating.
Likes (Value for money): Yes, the tuition fee is the most affordable to study at this university, and it's the most efficient environment, which will help me to gain good knowledge. The total fee is just 20 lakh in INR, and it sells starting salaries; when you get a campus recruitment, it will clear easily.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Right by the university, there are standard fast food chains like Wendy's and McDonald's, which offer value under $10, and I sometimes prefer cooking and sometimes eating outside based on my availability. For a relaxed sit-down meal or catching a game, spots like Wood n Tap are popular. They cater well to the college.

Great university for students who want to learn
Tips: If you are actually looking to study then this is the college for you. If your main focus is to do a job while studying then choose another college as in this college you will have to go to college at least 3 days a week so be prepared for that when you choose this college.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is great. Facilities and on-campus life are awesome. There are many outdoor sports grounds and you will also find good indoor sports facilities. There is a gym and swimming pool as well. Great campus center which has a pool table, table tennis, video games etc.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are tough at this university. You might find one but might take 6-8 months to find it. Even if you get an campus job here the weekly hours are very less. You might not get a full 20 hours of part-time job here. In a rare case scenario, you might find a job which gives 20 hours a week.
