A supportive and career focused university.
Tips: Students should learn German. Course culture shift is totally different here, people use post for every documentation, it takes weeks to send or receive any post weather is very good should follow every rule or else you will be fined and the cost of living depends on the location but it's pretty expensive though.

Good university with proper academic structure.
Tips: It's not a spoonfeeding session. You will be having a lot of assignments that require you to read papers and refer to whatever you need from any other sources; there won't be anyone to teach you all you require. You are all on your own so be always aware of this.
Likes (Public transportation): The public vehicle is good and efficient. It's affordable even in summer or winter but sometimes due to the construction or renovation, it will turn into a nightmare again, don't interpret it in the wrong way as it affects rarely. You can easily use a map and travel.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): This is because the pathway is structured but not at all simple. Blue card and PR are there but you need a minimum German C1 or C2 level. Another issue is the long waiting period. Now you can understand its not simple nor easy you have to invest time to learn German and work and study and understand the rules, tax, etc.

Interact, integrate and learn German.
Tips: Learn German before coming here and do research on all the options you have. The university responds to all queries quite quickly and also makes sure you are enrolled on a university program that is not hybrid. The country is good, they follow rules a lot and it may seem overwhelming at first but it's good.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is good here and people follow the rules strictly. Here everything works on the system and also many events will be there. Be sure to culturally integrate because that plays a vital role here. Submit any work given on time.
Dislikes (Part time work): The German language is essential and it's so competitive. I am as well finding it hard to find part-time and there are many scams too. Beware of that and also most part-time jobs require German language and be ready to do any work. Interact, integrate and learning German is the best possibility.

No spoon feeding, leave comfort zone and start chasing your dream
Tips: Make sure you are not in a habit of spoon-feeding. Because like the system in India, there is no spoon-feeding over here. You need to fight this battle alone and trust me it shall shape you better. Leaving the comfort zone is the biggest chance that life gives you to fight this war, become self-dependent and make your life a dream life.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Germany is always been a very good country to settle down permanently. This is because of low competition and among Canada, US or UK the cheapest one is Germany hence a better option. It is good for Marketing and IT industries. Also, the salary is paid in Euros which is the second largest currency after pound. So for Indian students, it is a better option.
Dislikes (Part time work): While student life is growing over here, it becomes a little challenging for a student to get part-time job. As they don't know the German language. So I would recommend that always keep practising the language and make sure once you arrive here you know at least B2 level so that you can get a job easily.

Student friendly university.
Tips: You can get access to international faculty but I think there needs to be an improvement in creating opportunities for students like internships, etc., though there are a few seminars conducted but it's not covered on all disciplines. The good part is that the university is student-friendly.
Likes (Safety): Safety is considered a priority as I could see we can reach out to the police for any issue but in the other hand if we consider issue related to medical, it is not that much great, it might take days or a week to get a doctor's appointment once you book.
Dislikes (Part time work): Facing quite a tough situation in finding a part time job. Not like the USA, Australia, here the stores are less in number comparatively, increased flow of students and job seekers through chance karte is creating much competition for part-time jobs too. Even though it's nearly a year since landing in Berlin few of my known mates are not able to find a proper part time .

Be active during classes and extracurriculars.
Tips: You are on your own, you need to focus on studying, then imagine there are no placements like in India. The German Language is a must to get a good job. Please, if you think that there is no competition and you just come here prepared, you will suffer massively. There are major challenges here which you need to consider before coming to this university especially.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is good; you can enjoy meeting new cultures and connecting with them. There are various student clubs as well. If you are living in Berlin then there is a little longer travel time but in Potsdam it is pretty smooth. Also faculty are very friendly, they help in various aspects of the study.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There is no food in the University from my country and only frozen options, no canteen and the restaurants outside the campus are pretty expensive as well from a student perspective. And as a student, you need to think about all this as well because you are on a limited budget for the month.
