To apply for a Bachelor programme at Università Cattolica, Students need to meet the following requirements set by the Italian Ministry for University and Research (MUR):
- Students must finish high school and get their Secondary School Diploma
- Students need to have at least 12 years of education. The last 2 years must be in the school system of the same country

If students have only 11 years of education, they can still apply if they meet one of these conditions:
- They must have completed at least one year of university studies and passed all the required exams. They can’t transfer any credits from these studies.
- They must have finished a recognized Foundation Course at an Italian university. Foundation courses from non-Italian universities will be evaluated case by case.
- Selection for the BSc degree in Psychology is divided into two phases.

PHASE ONE: Evaluation of students' GPA and their motivation letter

To apply for the programme, their transcripts must reflect a minimum GPA of 75%. This translates, for example, into CCC for A-levels, 31 points for the IB Diploma curriculum (see the IB undergraduate admission policy), 13 points for the French curriculum, a GPA of 3.0 for the US curriculum.

- PHASE TWO: Online interview
- If students are successful in the first phase, they will be invited for an online interview with the Professors of the School of Psychology, aimed at checking their motivation to study the programme and awareness of the subject.
