Reach Oxford Scholarship 2024

Apply for the Reach Oxford scholarship: The Reach Oxford Scholarships formerly known as the Oxford Student Scholarships is offered by the University of Oxford to students from low-income countries who, for financial reasons or political unrest, or because of lack of suitable educational facilities cannot study for a degree in their own countries.

Candidates should note that to be eligible for the Reach Oxford Scholarship, students are required to apply to the university before they can be considered for the Reach Oxford Scholarship. Oxford University will not be able to consider scholarship applications from students for the scholarship unless they have applied to the university.

What is the eligibility for the Reach Oxford Scholarship 2024?

The Reach Oxford Scholarship eligibility for 2024 includes the following. The Reach Oxford Scholarship is open for new students who are beginning their undergraduate studies in almost all fields of study with the exception of medicine. Students from a large number of countries are eligible to apply for the scholarship including Indian students. Candidates should note that while the Reach Oxford Scholarship is awarded by Oxford University, however not all colleges are able to offer Reach Oxford Scholarships every year. If a candidate is accepted by a college that is not participating in the Reach Oxford Scholarship scheme, this will not prevent him from applying for and being awarded the scholarship. If you are awarded the scholarship, arrangements will be made to transfer you between colleges.

Candidates should note that Reach Oxford Scholarship is awarded to students who showcase the highest academic ability. Financial need and social commitment are also major criteria for selection for the Reach Oxford Scholarship.

What does the Reach Oxford Scholarship cover?

Candidates are often concerned about the extent to which financial assistance would be provided for any scholarship. The Reach Oxford Scholarship would cover course fees for 3 or 4 years depending on the length of the course, a grant for living expenses would also be provided and one return airfare per year would be included in the grant.

What is the number of Reach Oxford scholarships awarded every year?

A total of 2 – 3 Reach Oxford Scholarships are granted each year to deserving candidates.

Candidates are informed that the applications to the Reach Oxford Scholarship 2024 are closed. What is expected from the Reach Oxford Scholarship applicant?

Candidates who are applying for the scholarship are obliged to follow the conditions set by the awarding committee below.

• Candidates should be aware that there is a large number of applicants every year for the scheme and the university does not have additional funding for candidates who are unable to get the scholarship.
• Scholars who have received the scholarship will be required to write an annual report about their academic and social activities, and achievements at the University.
• The renewal of the Reach Oxford Scholarship for subsequent years would be base subject to satisfactory academic progress.
• Scholars should have the intent to return to their country of ordinary residence following their studies
