The students are taken for an industrial visit for practical knowledge and fieldwork. The guest lecturers also give students a broad knowledge about the course they have opted for. In order to be eligible for SUTD scholarships, a student must normally have at least a Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic standing, English proficiency (if English is not your primary language of instruction, you must take the TOEFL or IELTS), and active participation in extracurricular activities.
