In order to be eligible for SUTD scholarships, a student must normally have at least a Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic standing, English proficiency (if English is not your primary language of instruction, you must take the TOEFL or IELTS), and active participation in extracurricular activities. In addition, the scholarship provides a monthly stipend in addition to full tuition price support for up to four years of PhD study for the SUTD President's Graduate Fellowship (PhD) program. The scholarship programme may have different requirements and deadlines.

Indian and other overseas students can apply for a variety of scholarships from Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to help pay for their study. SUTD offers several prestigious scholarships to Indian students, including:

The SUTD President's Graduate Fellowship (PhD) is given to deserving full-time PhD candidates. It covers all tuition costs for a maximum of four years of study and provides a monthly stipend of SGD 4,500 (INR 277,569) for Singaporeans, SGD 4,100 ( INR 252,896) or Permanent Residents of Singapore, and SGD 3,600 (INR 222,055) for International Students.

The SUTD Scholarship is given to deserving undergraduate students in accordance with their financial need and academic performance. The scholarship pays for living expenses, tuition, and other benefits.

Indian students are eligible for the National University of Singapore's Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarship.

The beneficiary student’s tuition fee is subsidised, and an allowance of SGD 5,000 is provided once in every two terms. This scholarship also provides an optional grant of up to SGD 15,000 for students who graduate from SUTD and opt for postgraduate degrees at SMU or SUTD within three years.

  • ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarships: Offered to UG aspirants of ASEAN countries, excluding Singapore, this scholarship recognizes students who have outstanding co-curricular records, showcase leadership skills, and required academic grades.

SUTD offers the following scholarships to graduate students:

  • SUTD President’s Graduate Fellowships: This fellowship offers complete tuition fee support along with a monthly stipend of SGD 3,000 to eligible international graduate students. The additional benefits include internships, sponsored overseas studies, and much more.

  • SUTD PhD Fellowships: This fellowship offers complete tuition fee support and a monthly stipend ranging from SGD 2,000 to SGD 2,500 to eligible international graduate students.

There is no Application fee for UG at SUTD  as the university eliminated the fee exclusively for Undergraduates.
