Student Visa Cost for Singapore
Once a student has received his admission letter from the university or college, he is required to apply for a student pass to enter Singapore or a Singapore Study Visa. Students looking to apply for a Singapore Study Visa must submit their visa applications through the Student’s Pass On-Line Application & Registration (SOLAR) system on the Immigration and the CheckPoint Authority (ICA) - Singapore portal. Applicants wishing to apply for a Singapore Study Visa are required to pay a processing fee of $30 Singapore Dollars or INR 1,885 approx for every application submitted to the ICA.
MBA Requirements for Singapore – Eligibility Criteria
The applicants are required to meet all the entry requirements in order to take admission to any MBA colleges in Singapore. Apart from the academic requirements, the applicants are also required to submit their English language proficiency score. Below-given are the entry requirements for the same:
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Most universities require GMAT/GRE scores for admission
- To pursue an MBA in Singapore, students must appear in English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE; followed by a personal interview conducted by some universities.
- Candidates will also be required to have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience (subject to the university admission criteria) for applying to MBA programs across universities in Singapore.
Work Permit after Studying MBA in Singapore
A long-term Visit Pass (LTVP) is awarded to Indian students who have obtained their certificate/degree from a listed Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL). The student must have a valid stay of 10 days left to apply for an LTVP. The student must pay an additional fee of $40 when the valid Visit Pass has been issued for a period of 3 months or more from the date of first entry/issuance of the pass and every subsequent 3 months thereafter. When a student gets a job, the employer will then apply and get a Work Permit for that person. The LTVP in question has a duration of up to two years, depending on the reason you are applying.
