A. Santa Clara University is in the heart of Silicon Valley. The university is located about 50 miles south of San Francisco and home to about 6000 tech companies some of them being Facebook, LinkedIn, Apple, Google, Cisco, Netflix, and the like. Silicon Valley allows students to explore the elements of business success in exciting areas like technology, and business analytics, all while leveraging their own ingenuity. The university also finds inspiration in Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit, blending the intersection of business and education, to transform people, ideas, and organizations allowing students to apply what they are learning in real-time.
Q. MS or MBA, which course offers more job opportunities?
A. Those who are interested in the blend of business and technology should consider applying to The Leavey School of Business to find inspiration in Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit, blending the intersection of business and education, to transform people, ideas, and organizations allowing students to apply what they are learning in real-time. Both the MBA and the MS programs have great job outcomes. The university’s aim is to prepare you to enter the job market. The university has advisory boards that help them design curriculum. Most of the members of the boards are C-suite level executives in Silicon Valley and they are instrumental in letting the university know the skills need to work in Silicon Valley. Also, the biggest difference between a Business and Engineering program is that we incorporate all the things you need to know about the strategies of a business.
