Q. Are admissions still open for September 2020 intake?
A. Applicants would be glad to know that admissions are open for September 2020 intake. Students are required to get in touch with Shiksha Study Abroad Counselors for assistance with their application process.
Q. What are the subjects available for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) studies at Teesside University, UK?
A. Candidates can opt from a large variety of courses available to students at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level of education at the Teesside University, UK. Q. What is the fee structure for international students wanting admission into the university?
A. Tuition fees for international students vary. The tuition fee for an international student on a full-time undergraduate degree is £13,000 per year for the current academic year. For postgraduate studies, the fee would depend on the course selected by the student, but would usually hover around £15,000 for two years. The accommodation fee varies from 54 GBP to 120 GBP per week and would entirely depend on the boarding preference and lifestyle of the candidate.

A. The university offers a generous amount of scholarships to international applicants. Candidates are requested to visit the official website for the list of scholarships offered by the University. The university also offers direct scholarships to students based on their Class 12 scores or graduation results.

Applicants who meet the entry requirement are awarded a scholarship worth £1,500 and those that exceed entry requirements are awarded £2,000 on their first-year tuition fee. Scholarships are only awarded in the first year to students. Due to competitive course pricing, the university is unable to provide fully-funded scholarships to students.

A. It is very important for candidates to have a high level of understanding of English to excel in British universities. Candidates who have not pursued their education in the English language in their Higher Secondary would be required to appear for an English proficiency test.
The acceptable English tests by the University are PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT and IELTS among others. Candidates should note that the Duolingo English Test is not accepted by the university. An added bonus, applicants can also appear for the Teesside English Language Test, which is free of cost.
Candidates could get their English language test waived off if they have good grades in their English Language at their Higher Secondary level. However, they would have to appear for a Skype interview with the Teesside University English language team. Appearing for IELTS is mandatory for a Ph.D. program.

A. For the undergraduate courses, candidates are required to have achieved 65% and above in their Class 12 to apply for UG programs. And applicants would require 55% and above to be eligible for postgraduate (PG) courses at the Teesside University in the UK. There are no entrance exams for the admission process.

A. Yes the curriculum at the university includes internship both paid and pro-bono in the second year of study for a duration of four weeks. Students can also opt for research work within their own faculty.

A. As per the current regulation, candidates who have successfully completed their UG degree would be eligible for a two-year stay back period. They would be required to pay a small fee to apply for their post-study work permit in the UK. The two-year post-study work permit would allow students to undertake work related to their field of study.
Q. What is the current job scenario in the UK? Are international students eligible for Tier 2 Work Visa?
A. Candidates who are earning more than £21,000 with a Tier 2 sponsor can apply for the Tier 2 Work Visa for 3 years. However, the employer is required to sponsor the candidate and assist him in attaining the work visa. It is not easy to get a job in the UK and it’s pretty much the same across the world given the current situation.

- Select the postgraduate course you are interested in from the University of Manchester.\

- Upload the required documents, such as Academic transcripts and proof of English language proficiency ( TOEFL/ IELTS). experience in your fields and references (depending on the course). You also may require Two LORs depending on the course.
