K.C. Mahindra Scholarships For Post-Graduate Studies Abroad
K. C. Mahindra Education Trust provides interest-free loan scholarships to deserving students to pursue post-graduate studies abroad in various fields. Max scholarship per student: INR 1,000,000.
Eligibility Criteria: The following are the eligibility criteria:
- Study abroad applicants must possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognised University.
- Applicants must be Indian candidates who have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from August 2024 but not later than February 2025.
JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship
The scholarship is given to the student based on merit. It is awarded for full-time Postgraduate / Ph.D. / Postdoctoral studies overseas, across all disciplines. The scholarship amount ranged between INR 1 lakh to 10 lakh. A selected J.N. Tata scholar who has accepted the loan scholarship is eligible for a criteria based travel grant and gift award from our allied Tata Trusts, says the official statement.
Eligibility Criteria: The program is open to Indians who have completed their undergraduate studies at recognized Indian universities.
National Overseas Scholarship
It aims to empower low-income students from marginalized communities, including Landless Agricultural Labourers,Traditional Artisans, Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes. The scholarship is given for Masters's degree or PhD degree programs.
Eligibility Criteria: The age should be below 35 years as of April 1, 2024. Also, the family income should be less than INR 8,00,000.
Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships
It is designed for Indian scholars who are registered for a Ph.D. at an Indian institution. These fellowships are for six to nine months.

The fellowships provide J-1 visa support, a monthly stipend, Accident and Sickness Program for Exchanges per U.S. Government guidelines, round-trip economy class air travel, applicable allowances and modest affiliation fees, if any. No allowances are provided for dependents. The grant is not sufficient to support family members.
These fellowships are for pre-doctoral level research. Applicants with Ph.D. degrees or those at the final stage of Ph.D. thesis submission will not be considered.
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are prestigious international masters, jointly designed and delivered by a group of higher education institutions. It involves a minimum of 3 institutions from at least 3 different countries and multiple associated partners from the academic and non-academic world. Masters may also offer full scholarships to the best-ranked students worldwide. Scholarships cover your participation costs and contribute to - travel, visa, living, and allowance. Eligibility is Graduation Degree or equivalent.
