Admission Requirements for Healthcare Courses in the UK
Admission test is conducted for almost all the medical programmes in the UK. Some of the common eligibility criteria which apply to all the institutes are mentioned below:
- For an undergraduate course, an honors degree in a healthcare-related discipline from a reputed institution is needed. Atleast 2.2 degree or other similar qualification is required.
- For a graduate or master’s course, atleast an upper-second-class honors degree in a healthcare-related discipline is needed. Atleast 2.2 degree or other similar qualification is required. Those holding experience will have an advantage over others.
- Minimum 6.0 IELTS score or a TOEFL (iBT) score of 90 is required.
Other than the aforementioned requirements, there are a few basic requirements which a prospective international student is expected to fulfil in order to secure admission to a good institute offering healthcare courses. The requirements may differ according to different universities.
