Q:   Does University of the West of Scotland offer scholarships to international students?

A: 

The University of the West of Scotland offers a limited number of Global Scholarships, aimed at International students who have achieved academic excellence in their studies prior to UWS. The UWS Global Scholarship is worth EUR 1,500 for every academic year of undergraduate studies or a single one-off EUR 1,500 for taught PG studies. Some of the important points to be noted are given as follows:

  • If the student is eligible for the scholarship, the amount will be automatically deducted from their tuition fees before the CAS is issued
  • The scholarship is only available to students applying to study at one of the Scottish campuses
  • No scholarships will be awarded retrospectively
  • The UWS international team will guide and support the students through the application process and the eligibility for the scholarship
