University of Essex organises Graduation Day ceremony in India
More than 80 graduate students joined the special graduation day ceremony of University of Essex.

Professor Anthony Forster, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Essex, expressed immense pride and said: “Today, as we honour the achievements of our graduates in India, we reaffirm our longstanding commitment to providing a world-class education that transcends borders. Congratulations to each student for their remarkable accomplishments, as they embark on a journey to become global citizens and ambassadors of change.”
Among the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Vice-Chancellor Awards to four exceptional individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the communities.
The recipients of the Vice-Chancellor Awards - Sanchita Ain, Manish Michel, Ankit Mehrotra, and Anushree Srivastava - were granted a unique opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with the University's Vice-Chancellor, enriching their educational experience and leaving a lasting impact on the University's legacy.
The ceremony provided a platform for graduates to reflect on their academic journey, express gratitude to their professors, mentors and loved ones, and embark on new beginnings with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.
During the event, the University of Essex reaffirmed its dedication to providing world-class education and nurturing future leaders who will make meaningful contributions to society.
As part of this mission the University of Essex is now offering extra support for Indian Masters students by launching a new health bursary to cover the cost of the UK’s immigration health surcharge for the duration of their postgraduate course. This is in addition to the University’s Academic Excellence Scholarship for India residents, which is worth between £3,000 and £4,000.

UG Application Process:
- Student must apply through the UCAS common application portal.
- They can go to the website and select the course that they are interested in.

- Ensure you meet the entry requirements for the chosen program, as they vary depending on the course.
- Complete the online application by providing your personal information.
- Upload the required documents, such as Academic transcripts and proof of English language proficiency ( TOEFL/ IELTS). experience in your fields and references (depending on the course). You also may require Two LORs depending on the course.
- If your application is successful, you will receive an offer from the University of Manchester.
