Georgia Tech - Grad Review
Tips: Those coming from a non-teach background might need to put in some extra effort since Georgia Teach puts extra emphasis on the fundamentals irrespective of the stream you are in. I did not avail myself of any scholarship, but I did manage to get a graduate research assistant position with one of the professors at Georgia Tech.
Likes (Value for money): I gave value for money a top rating because your student fees give you full access to the CRC (Campus Recreation Center), which is honestly world-class. Having a multi-story gym right on campus with everything from a massive climbing wall and racquetball courts to an Olympic-sized indoor pool saves you hundreds a year on off-campus gym memberships. When you factor in all the high-end facilities and student resources included in tuition, you genuinely get your money's worth
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Faculty is approachable; the slides and the lecture content are easy to follow in general. Some professors focus on hands-on learning using end-of-term course projects. Some ECE courses also have a mandatory laboratory component to get an actual understanding of how things function in hardware.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026

Academic oriented and good.
Tips: Engineering and sciences here are data-driven, to the point and great if you're interested in research and broadening your horizons. Learn to think critically and ask for help when stuck; don't just cram everything you learn. Overall, the US is a friendly country, and there are lots of people like you.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty, especially my professors, are truly skilled, great at what they do, and genuinely passionate. I have learnt a lot from them and continue to do so. Teaching is also diverse; there is mixed representation here. You won't find them better.

Vertical form of learning.
Tips: Great facilities, great labs, and skilled faculty. I came here with an open mind, and I have not been disappointed. Take advantage of the career fair, as these attract some of the best companies and talent there is. Professors are helpful and encourage varying points of view, so don't be shy and try to engage and participate in classes as much as you can.

Great learning environment.
Tips: Be prepared to get deeply into almost everything covered in class, as you'll be tested on more things than you'd expect. However, my classes have been flexible, and you're encouraged to experiment. Many of my friends have changed their majors this way. Truly an inspiring place.

It was a challenging yet fulfilling experience.
Tips: This university has been a very interesting experience so far. The grading system is rigid yet flexible and you will have to bring out your A-game in every aspect of your academic life, be it classes or projects. Along with this, you should be an active part of the alumni network to get internship help or placement advice. Overall, I am satisfied with the college and the country.
