UG application process
International applicants need to apply for VCU through the Common Application portal: apply.commonapp.org/login. You can follow the steps given below to fill your application:
Step 1- Start your application through the Common App by clicking the option ‘first-year student’.
Step 2- Create your account with valid email ID and password.

PG application process
International graduate aspirants can apply to VCU directly via its online application system. Every intake, a new online application link is generated by VCU for most graduate courses. The Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs and School of Social Work have separate applications. To apply via the VCUgrad portal, you can follow these steps:
Step 1- As a new user, create an account here.
Step 2- Once an account is created, aspirants can proceed to the next page. Select program/course.
Step 3- Provide personal and academic information as required.
Upload the necessary documents, review the application and submit it.
International applicants must provide an official course-by-course external credential evaluation. This report should be sealed and unopened and sent directly to the Office of Admissions. All official transcripts and relevant credentials (e.g., diplomas and marksheets) will be required at the time of admission. All external credential evaluations should be no older than two years as of the official date received by the Office of Admissions. Once credentials and/or credential evaluations are sent to the university, they will not be returned to the prospective student or sent to a third party. Undergraduate Admissions
Students should have graduated from a secondary school or equivalent (lyceum, senior middle school, university preparatory school, completion of GCSE exams, Standard 12 graduation, etc.), which typically consists of at least 12 years of education beyond kindergarten. Secondary education received by the students should make them eligible for entrance to a recognised university in their home country. VCU also requires completion of the following academic units by the final year of high school curriculum:
