Virginia Tech has been receiving an increased number of applications for the last few years. For Fall 2020, Virginia Tech received more than 30,000 applications, whereas by Fall 2024, it received 52,000 applications, which is a jump of over 22,000 applications. As a response, the number of students accepted has also been increasing slightly, from 20,000 in Fall 2020 to 28,000 in Fall 2024. It also jumped to a high of almost 35,000 in Fall 2021.

Virginia Tech Acceptance Rate: Early Decision Vs Regular Decision
