About Florida International University
Florida International University, founded in 1965, is a public university in the beach city of Miami, USA. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Florida International University History
Florida International University was established in 1965 as a research university and is located in Miami, USA. In 1965, Senate Bill 711 was introduced by Florida Senator Robert M. Haverfield to plan the development of a university in Miami. It first began in 1972, when more than 5,000 students joined the campus and the university was known to have the largest enrollment in history.
Later after 1972, more than 10,000 students were attending the classes at the university. Florida International University was later admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society in 2000. Later in 2002, the Florida International University College of Law was established.
