IIFM Bhopal Highlights 2026
IIFM Bhopal was established in 1982 as an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The institute was conceptualised in response to the recommendation of the National Commission on Agriculture. The impetus generated by these recommendations culminated in an alliance with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad through which the philosophy and raison d’erte of IIFM was evolved.
IIFM is known to provide training to students in Management and related subjects. Some of the programmes provided by IIFM Bhopal are approved by AICTE and IIFM is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC. The Swedish International Development Agency also contributed financially and technically in establishing the Institute. Since its inception, IIFM has been home to some of the most brilliant young minds who are constantly raising the bar of excellence in this dynamic field.
Indian Institute of Forest Management is ranked 34 for MBA by the Time of India 2024. Located at Nehru Nagar, Bhopal, the college offers PG and certificate courses to students. These courses are provided across the Forestry Management and several other streams. IIFM Bhopal is famous for its flagship course such as the MBA.
