JNU Delhi Admission & Application Process 2026
The Jawaharlal Nehru University admissions are entrance based. The university considers CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores for admission with an exception for BTech and MBA. The university considers CAT and JEE Mains for admission in MBA and BTech respectively. For admissions to MSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Computational Biology Programme, is through GAT-B scores. JNU MCA admission is based on a valid Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) CUET-PG score. CUET PG is an all-India-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to test-takers, the General Test was easy and the Domain Knowledge section was moderate to tough. Although the questions were on the expected lines and within the CUET PG syllabus but according to some students, a few questions were out of the syllabus and tricky. So, the JNU MCA entrance is not very tough but can be tricky.
Yes, JNU accepts CAT scores for admission in the MBA course. Candidates must appear for this exam and achieve a valid aggregate in the same. They must also appear for a PI round. Based on these, the merit list is released and selected candidates must appear for verification and pay the tuition fees for admission confirmation.
Jawaharlal Nehru University eleigibility criteria varies as per each programme. Students must qualify Class 10+2 from the recognised board with 45% marks for general category for UG programmes. For PG programmes students must qualify Bachelors degree with 45%- 50% marks from the recognised university. While some of the programmes accepts national entrance exams for admission.
