JNU BA (Hons) Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers three-year BA (Hons) courses in multiple specialisations. The specialisations offered are basically different languages like Korean, French, Japanese, etc. Admission to JNU BA courses is based on merit in CUET-UG, conducted by NTA. CUET UG 2025 admit card will be released four days prior to the each exam date. CUET UG 2025 exam will be scheduled between May 13 and June 03, 2025 in multiple sessions. NTA will issue the CUET UG 2025 admit card for each day separately. Registered candidates will be issued the CUET admit card 2025 as per their schedule and CUET subject chosen.

JNU BA (Hons) Admission 2025: How to Apply?
For JNU BA (H) course admission, candidates need to apply for the CUET UG exam. Applications for the same can be submitted online through the national-level exam official website. Moreover, candidates must ensure that while applying through CUET, should have selected JNU as a preference during the CUET application process. JNU admission is a multi-step process, in which first candidates are required to register through the official website of the university, appear for the entrance exam, and verification of original documents, etc.
Step 1: JNU BA (H) Application Process 2025
Before applying for the course, candidates are required to qualify for the basic eligibility criteria first.
Step 1.1: Visit the JNU official website (jnu.ac.in) to register and create login credentials.
Step 1.2: Log in with the ID and password to start filling out the application form and document upload. Candidates may have to upload their CUET scorecard as well.
Step 1.3: Check the details carefully and submit the form.
Step 1.4: After the conclusion of the registration process, merit lists are released, which can be checked online by entering the application number and password.

For admission through CUET, the university will release a merit list or cutoff. JNU released the cutoff or opening ranks for BA courses. Further, candidates with equal or more than ranks/scores can participate in seat allotment.
Step 3: Counselling Process
Candidates who qualify for the merit list can participate in JNU counselling. During the counselling process, candidates go through the seat allotment and document verification.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation
Selected candidates get the admission letter/ admission confirmation through the university's admission department.
