Capilano University offers a wide array of options for housing to its students. CapU residence provides an affordable, safe and convenient housing option. The student community at CapU offers engaging programs and activities that help you meet new people and build lasting friendships. University residence starts at just $1,190 per month including all your meals, and your residence fees include a fully furnished room with a bed, storage, desk, chair and closet and many more things. For a shared double room total cost for the spring 2023 term is $4,728.29 and for single accommodation, the price per student is $5,501.31. Meanwhile, for summer full-term fees is $3,476.86 for shared double accommodation and $4,265.34 for single accommodation. Meal plans are mandatory for all residents.

CapU offers affordable, supportive, and convenient university housing to full-time students. The CapU residences are a few minutes away from the main campus. The residence halls are named after the local mountains – Grouse Hall, Cypress Hall, and Seymour Hall – and include housing and amenities for 290 students. Each room (excluding apartment-style) includes the following:

• Two twin size beds with drawer storage
• Two twin size mattresses
• Two desks with built-in shelving & lockable drawer
• Two desk chairs
• Two closets

Apart from this, two Bachelor apartments are available exclusively for students with the need for special accommodation. These apartments include a twin bed, a full private washroom, and a kitchenette.

If English is not your first language or received your education in a language other than English, then, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language. Capilano University accepts all the major English language tests. The minimum marks required in English tests are as follows:

• TOEFL: 83 (online test) and 560 (paper-delivered test)
• IELTS: 6.5 overall with no single score below 6
• PTE: 56 (overall)
• DET: 125 or higher with no sub-score less than 115

Capilano University was founded in 1968. It was founded through a referendum by the school boards and residents of North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Howe Sound. Capilano University is a teaching-oriented public university. Its main campus is in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Capilano University opened the Sunshine Coast campus in Sechelt in 1977 to serve the communities of Sunshine Coast. Advanced Placement Program (AP)

Applicants from the AP program must complete high school (or its equivalent) and meet the English language and program-specific requirements. Andhra Pradesh courses are eligible for admission consideration, and Andhra Pradesh course grades may be combined with an approved high school curriculum to meet Capilano’s admission requirements.
