TUM Munich Admissions 2026: Requirements, Application Deadlines & Fees

The TUM application fee is free of cost for Indians. However, students must pay tuition costs to join any UG and PG programs. The tuition cost is around INR 5 L for undergraduates and INR 23 L for postgraduates. In addition, they must have an extra budget for accommodation, transportation, food, and health insurance.

The Technical University of Munich offers over 200 to international students. Some popular programs include Engineering, Technology, Medicine, and Applied Science. They must submit academic documents like Class 10, 12, and bachelor's transcripts, passport, and application fee (INR 18k).

Admission to a doctorate at TUM requires a university degree completed with above-average results, an equivalent state exam, or a Master’s examination at a university of Applied Science.

Results are considered to be above average if studies got completed with an average grade of 2.5 or at a minimum passed with a grade of ‘good’. 

For applying to TUM Germany, international students are required to apply and register via TUM Online. When it comes to the master’s courses, over 100 master’s degree programs are there from a variety of fields. Some of the documents required to apply to TUM are:

To get into MSc in Informatics at TUM, students are required to have a bachelor’s degree and the successful completion of the so-called aptitude test. After the students have created their account at TUM Online, enter their personal data and information about their education, and upload the required documents.
