If a candidate works more than 20 hours per week is considered to be an employee under the social security law of Germany. The work may affect the visa applications for international students. Also, international students have to submit proof of finances for one year, i.e., they should keep EUR 10,332 in a blocked account. It will cost EUR 75 for a student visa to Germany. The processing time may take up to 25 days provided all the documents are in order and submitted timely. International students applying for a residence permit after arriving in Germany would require to pay up to EUR 110.
