University of Tasmania Admission Process
International applicants willing to apply for UTAS admission must follow the admission process carefully, which includes the selection of a course, the application process, submitting tuition costs, and more. The University of Tasmania admission process for international students is given below:
- Students can explore programs of their choice from over 183 undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the university in a wide variety.
- After selecting the program of choice, check the basic admission criteria required for the program chosen. For UG, applicants must have a high school certification, and for PG, a bachelor’s degree is required
- The document requirements include transcripts, ACT/SAT scores (optional), a personal essay, and English language requirements, CV/resume, GMAT/GRE, purpose/goal statements, work experience (if any), along with the English requirements.
- Complete the application with other details. There is no application fee.
- You will get the decision from the university via mail in 4-6 weeks depending on the completion of teh application.
- You must apply for the Australian student visa as soon as you receive the offer letter
- Students must pay the UTAS tuition fees for the first year, which range between INR 11.72 L and INR 53.16 L for undergraduate programs and between INR 6.06 L and INR 37.64 L for graduate programs.

The University of Tasmania offers one of the most sought-after MBA programs for individuals willing to grow their careers in the field of leadership, business management, and administration. The program durations are generally 1-2 years. - You are required to have an equivalent Australian bachelor’s degree

Other details
- 2 Years Master’s: The applicants who do not hold a Bachelor or Graduate Certificate / Diploma in an ICT-related area from an accredited tertiary institute, they will be required to complete a 2-year Master’s
- 12-Unit Master’s (1-5 – 2 years): To qualify for 12-unit master’s, the applicants must currently hold a bachelor’s degree in an ICT-related area or currently hold a Bachelor or Graduate Certificate / Diploma in an ICT related area from an accredited tertiary institute covering at least the fundamental knowledge and achieving the equivalent learning outcomes as the units in the transition semester
All international students who are going to submit an international student application to the University of Tasmania undergraduate degree & postgraduate coursework, they will be automatically assessed for Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS). This scholarship will provide a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of students’ course. Also, note that there is no need to apply separately for this scholarship.
