Evidence of a high level of proficiency (a minimum B average) in quantitative courses that cover subjects is required. 

Mastery of mathematics including, at a minimum, calculus and linear algebra, is essential, as are courses covering probability and statistics. In cases where evidence of quantitative proficiency is not obvious, applicants must provide supplemental evidence, for example course outlines, projects or copies of certificates

Demonstrated proficiency in computer programming. This may be demonstrated through a minimum B average in one or more courses in computer science or in courses relying extensively on computer programming.

Before the program begins in August, admitted students must demonstrate their understanding of the following four areas:

• Foundations of Finance
• Financial Accounting
• Statistics
• Python

Applicants may be exempt if applicant have:

• Passed the CFA Level I examination within 3 years of your anticipated program start date
• Passed the CFA Level II or III examinations within 3 years of your anticipated program start date
• Successfully completed JRE300, Foundations of Accounting and Finance, as part of the University of Toronto Engineering Business Minor, within 3 years of your anticipated program start date

• Minimum GPA: 1st Class/Div or 8.0/10; 7.5/10 from Indian Institutes of Technology
• A Minus GPA: 1st Class/Div or 9/10; 8.5/10 from Indian Institutes of Technology
• B Plus GPA: 1st Class/Div or 8.5/10; 8/10 from Indian Institutes of Technology
• Bachelors Equiv: Bachelor`s Degree, requiring a minimum of 4 years of study (e.g. BPharm, MBBS, BDS, BTech, BEng, BArch, etc.) or completion of BOTH a Bachelor`s (three-year) degree and a Master`s
