Learning along the way.
Tips: I have transitioned from a completely different education system to one where most of the learning happens outside of assigned reading and each student is accountable for themselves. There is a lot to do both in and outside of campus although being on campus is better if you want a more focused environment. There are a lot of perks to being a student here such as free commute, freebies and other discounts. A lot of jobs here come from referrals.

No internship support or opportunities.
Tips: It's a private university, with no value for the degree according to the German job market. You can pay the full fee in one go to get a 35% discount, but it's really not worth it. I put all my hard-earned money into this, and they don't even have a robotics lab for teaching.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin has a very good transport system including U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Bus, and Tram. Everything is well connected. There is a U-Bahn Stop right beside the university campus so it's really easy to travel. Germany has the best thing called the Deutschland ticket which lets you travel the whole country on a single ticket.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No support is offered by the university itself; you have to find a job. You have to email 1000 times just to get a response. Sometimes they host career counselling but it's literally nonsense, I mean nothing new that what you know already, learn German, that's what will get you a job.

Try to learn B1 level German before joining.
Tips: I had a bit more expectations from the university side but it was barely an average academic experience. I got a scholarship on tuition of 30 % on the basis of my 12th Grade. Other than that, the life around the city and the country is very nice. You can explore nightlife, history and nature in and around Berlin. Other parts of Germany are also very charming.
Likes (Public transportation): It's connected via the Berlin U-Bahn Network which is very wide over the city. The campus is also connected by buses to major points in the city. I don't think someone who lived in Berlin didn't faced any problems regarding the public transport system. The Deutschland Ticket is going to be 63 euros per month from January 2026. This ticket lets you travel on every means of transport all around Germany without extra cost, except for long distance ICE and IC trains.
Dislikes (Part time work): There may be possibilities for student assistant positions as unpaid but no actual jobs are available on the campus. You have to find a part time job outside campus. The current part time job situation in Berlin is tough for someone who is not fluent in German or doesn't have many connections.

Good decision if you want to study in a private university.
Tips: Students should know about the future scope and particular interests regarding the subject. Also consider the transportation option, and how far from your living place. A multiple dimensional space to learn.
Tips: There has been a cultural shift. I sometimes feel that German culture is better than Indian culture. The biggest challenge I've found is the language barrier; it's difficult to navigate daily life without German. I don't have any scholarships, but I am well satisfied with my university, course, and the country.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system is very well-connected to the campus. We can take the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and buses to get there. The cost is 58 euros per month, which is reasonable for students. With buses and trains arriving every 5 minutes, it's very convenient to reach all parts of the city.
Dislikes (Safety): Classes are conducted by the student council to raise awareness about student safety on and off campus. I was returning home after a trip and waiting for my bus at the station around 10 pm. A visibly drunk African man approached me, trying to shake my hand. I said no and felt frightened. A German man sitting beside me helped me and made me feel safe.

Average college with limited exposure.
Tips: It's not that great. You just get a degree from another country on paper. It depends on your skills, too. You need to attend college six times a month, that's all. Exams should be written on campus. There's an English class that is terrible. You need to attend until you pass. There are no practical assignments that we get to learn. However, student life is vibrant. There are many on-campus events. Overall, I am not satisfied with the course or the college.

The internship options are limited, especially in health management.
Tips: I switched from another university to BSBI, and it was the best decision. There are many campus activities besides studies. We have regular classes twice a week, and the student council recently organised a day trip. Our student council is very active. You'll be amazed by all the programs if you join. There are also many workshops.
Likes (Safety): The city has felt safe to me so far. While I’ve heard about safety concerns in certain areas, I haven't experienced anything negative. There are many homeless people on the streets, but I've never seen them cause any problems. Just be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy your time here.
Dislikes (Internships): The internship options are limited, especially in health management. Also, language skills are essential. I've applied for several internships but received rejections. You will likely face many rejections, but you will eventually reach your desired destination. That's what I believe.

The city is extremely well-connected via train, metro, bus and tram.
Tips: This college does not offer any practical skills. If you want to study here, you have to figure out how to learn on your own. If you're someone who just wants to come to Germany without any qualifications, this university is for you. If you're a hard-working, honest student, you do not belong here.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin transport is one of the best in Europe. The city is extremely well-connected via train, metro, bus and tram. Even in the middle of the night, getting home is not a problem. It's also very affordable and available 24/7, making it one of the best places to live for students in the world.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The university is not recognised by any German company, so it's super hard to get a job. I had to struggle my way to get one. The teachers at the university are substandard, and the ones who are good don't feel motivated to teach well, as they think that students are just not worth it.

The university is good and the people are friendly but sometimes language can be a big barrier.
Tips: If you're serious about studying, always go to a public university. Not only do you get an awesome international crowd, but the professors are very well educated as well. Also, admission to BSBI is a breeze, and if you pay the fee all at once, you get 33% off. There are a few companies in Germany that provide sponsored visas for employment because they can easily hire skilled employees from within the country. This means they don't have to spend time trying to attract applicants from outside the country. Salaries in Germany are good, but the tax rate is high, from 32% to 46%. It's not uncommon for half of your salary to go to taxes. Perhaps the biggest hurdle of all is the language barrier. These days, you need to be fluent in German, at least to the B1 level, for even the simplest jobs.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): To become a permanent resident or citizen is easy because the requirements are minimal. To become a resident, they don't ask for many things. Personally, I'd prefer to stay on a blue card. It's based on your annual salary, and if you fall under a particular salary level, you get the card and its benefits.

Great learning environment and skill growth in a German college.
Tips: Good staff and students in BSBI. Students coming from different countries, different religions, locality, and different cultures. But my experience is good, no cultural bad experience, no racism in college and in Germany. So. I chose this college because I wanted to do a Data Analytics course in a big city like Berlin. So, this option was best for me. So, I am satisfied with this course, but I suggest that when you are thinking of coming to study in Germany, at least you need to learn a B1 or B2 German level; otherwise, you will face lots of struggles here.
Likes (Safety): Germany is a very safe country. Here, everyone - girls, boys, and people in general can go anywhere they want and be safe. There is no rape, murder, or theft. I have never had a negative experience.
Dislikes (Internships): Well, I just completed my studies from BSBI. I am still searching for a full-time job in my Data Analytics field, but I can’t find one these days because the job market isn’t good in Germany for someone who doesn’t know German. I also didn’t do an internship in my field. Here, the students’ finding an internship or field job ratio is 20-30% of getting a field job. The other 70-80% do warehouse, cycling, bakery, bar, and restaurant jobs in European countries without knowing the German language.

Student friendly university with strong academic values.
Tips: The university has students from all over the world, making it easier to transition. The cultural shift happened after we had understood the way of life in Germany. There are also university scholarships and government scholarships. I did not personally take advantage of them, but I know people who did. These days, living in Berlin has been difficult due to the large immigrants. On campus, the student life is amazing, and safety is the utmost concern of the university. Good experiences were in university with my fellow friends and we used to do our exercises and enjoy in the university. There are no bad experiences as such. Except the area has a lot of Turkish people, which sometimes isn't good. Overall, I am much more satisfied with the university and the course.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of getting permanent residency are pretty good. If you can get C1 in German within three years and you have an excellent job opportunity, there's a good chance you'll get to stay permanently. I would definitely migrate to Germany if you are serious about doing so. The only thing that makes this difficult is the language barrier. Once you conquer that hurdle, finding a good job and getting permanent residency becomes easier.

A versatile university in terms of experience.
Tips: Adjusting to a different culture can be challenging. It’s hard to find vegetarian food, and the main challenge is the language, but the university offers free German courses. Fortunately, you can work part-time, and there are scholarships available, so the transition is smooth, and I’m very satisfied.
Likes (Student Life): Berlin is the capital city of Germany, and student life is happening here. Including my university, there are a few other universities, so it's easy to mingle with other university students. Our university organized events for every big festival on campus: Holi, Diwali, Berlin carnival, and a Christmas event.
Dislikes (Value for money): The professors were well-educated and industry-experienced. They were easily available through emails and direct interactions. The portal that we used while studying is easy to understand and use. All the material was added, and the assignments had to be submitted through that specified portal only. I had diverse faculty, Indian, Iranian, Italian, and German. My thesis supervisor was a German who was very helpful and always available.

Learn German to increase your job prospects.
Tips: Before joining Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI), students should know that it is a private institution offering practical business programs validated by international partners like UNINETTUNO and UCA. They should also know that BSBI is taught in English and that it is accessible roughly 70-80 percent. An opportunity card to students to excel into their field of interest.
Tips: There is no transition except weather conditions, and there is no such cultural shift as there are many Indians in college. There are no scholarships available as it is a private university. The admission is quite easy with your good background in the same field, and my college fee is around €9250. Overall, I am very much satisfied here with the university and the course I have opted for, and Germany is a very lovely city with a good neighbourhood.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here are highly educated and have a vast knowledge about the topics they are teaching. In addition, teaching starts from the basics here, so there is no need to worry if you enter as a fresher. The faculty are very friendly and cooperative and do their best to make you understand the topics clearly.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is no availability of part-time jobs on campus, but you have plenty of options across Berlin for both technical and non-technical roles. Berlin School of Business & Innovation provides a quality of education.
Tips: BSBI is not a German-accredited university. The degree provided is not European. But the quality of teaching is really good. The M.Sc. Data Analytics course was well taught. It also depends on who teaches you. With new faculties, the quality of teaching might be different.
Likes (Public transportation): The university is located at a suitable location with a good public transport connection. The university is located in the central location. There is a U-Bahn connection very close to the university. There are bus and S-Bahn connections as well.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The university has nothing to do with the post-study jobs and it entirely depends on the skills and experience of the student and also the economy. Since the job market is currently down, it's much more difficult to find a job. The university provides networking opportunities but no placement.

Loved the uni , good atmosphere. Productivity at its finest
Tips: A lot of communication gaps needs to be understood No scholarship was awarded to me; 9/10 would be my rating for the university. The country is good, and the course, I would say, is good, and I would suggest not going by rankings only but also seeing how many days there are for classes and deciding accordingly.
Likes (Safety): On the bright side, at least campus life itself feels incredibly safe, so you don't have to worry about your security while you're navigating all that stress. 24/7 safety patrols Community safety available on a phone call all day long Never faced any safety issue in the country or on the campus, not a thing to worry about. A bad experience is that Cov is not quite safe after sunset; it’s suggested not to go alone, but the campus is apart from the city. In fact, it’s made like a city within, so it’s all good.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market right now is brutal, and honestly, everything rests on your shoulders—your profile needs to be solid, but it really comes down to how well you can pitch yourself and win over the interviewer. If you're doing a broad, general management track, the reality check is that openings are incredibly scarce unless you find a way to specialize in something specific. Plenty of companies post vacancies, but getting an offer completely hinges on your ability to sell your skills in that room. Also, nobody is just handing out sponsored visas right after graduation anymore; you're looking at a tiny 2 to 3% chance at best, so you have to hustle incredibly hard.

A Rigorous and Rewarding experience in University of Warwick.
Tips: Before you come to Warwick, just know that the workload is no joke—if you don't stay on top of your time and stay disciplined, you'll get overwhelmed fast. The campus itself has amazing facilities, but if you end up living off-campus in Coventry, you definitely have to map out your daily bus routes and grocery runs beforehand. Moving to the UK was a pretty smooth transition overall, though there was definitely a bit of a culture shock at first. I really had to adjust to a way more independent style of studying, figure out how to collaborate with people from totally different backgrounds, and get used to how they approach group projects and assignments. Honestly, I’ve been really happy with the country and my choice of course. It’s been a massive learning curve, and I’m honestly still taking it all in.
Likes (Indian Food): Coventry has a lot of Indian food options, varying from North Indian to South Indian. It's a very rich, versatile city with various communities living very happily all together, and hence, there was no issue for food. I never felt like I ever left India. I usually cooked by myself but whenever I wanted, I had several options.
Dislikes (Safety): I lived in off-campus student accommodation in Coventry. Coventry felt mostly secure, though there were a few areas in the city center where I was a bit cautious at nights, but overall the city was safe with regular police patrols, good street lighting, and well-maintained public transport. Whereas the University of Warwick campus felt very safe and secure with regular campus police patrolling along with CCTV everywhere in every nook and corner; plus, the presence of so many students made it very safe and easier to navigate.

Offered by The University of Warwick
3.7
Fast paced courses and a diverse culture.
Tips: At university of Warwick expect fast paced courses and a diverse culture. The UK classroom style values discussion and independence. I am satisfied with the overall learning and exposure and global network opportunities. The staff is very supportive and knowledgeable regarding basic issues faced by many students which is a big help.
Likes (Safety): Very good campus management and security. All the buildings have dedicated safety zones and instructions. There is good connectivity between buildings and exploring the campus always feels safe, even at night. The staff is very helpful and always ready to assist.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The universities very rarely have placement programs post graduation, many companies do not offer sponsorship to International students, given the scarcity of jobs in the UK. Majority students either return home and do some sort of part time job in order to stay in the UK.

4.5
Vibrant campus and city.
Tips: Classes won't be every day, so there are breathing periods throughout. To score high you need to reason properly rather than copy pasting an argument you can't back. I'm satisfied with my course as there was lot of psychological issues it addressed, the back and forth we had with our tutors was amazing.
Likes (Part time work): Nobody looks down on you for working part time jobs, it's quite common. They are quite manageable u get to choose the amount of hours u want to put in. The average payout is 12.60 pounds per hour. You can always gain retail experience as they have a lot of openings during Christmas.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The changes of permanent residence are low as per the changing laws now, a person can get PR if he/she stays and work in the UK for 10 years excluding the study period. The right wing likes to throw immigrants under the bus for every other issue that they have, so it doesn't matter how hard working or resilient you are; if the laws are against you, you can't really do anything.

Strong academics and faculty, but career is shaped by self-efforts.
Tips: You need to adjust yourself socially and culturally and be more open towards people. The teaching style is more independent and students are expected to take ownership of their learning. Most of this comes from the discipline and habits of an individual. Also, one thing, a friend circle is really important to balance out life as you will grow with them.
Likes (Quality of faculty): You can contact faculty anytime on their contact details (teams), and you get to know if they are offline or away for sometime so you are not changing. The faculty are responsive as well and will give you time for your doubts and guidance. Apart from academics, you can also interact with them casually and they are open to that as well.
Dislikes (Internships): There is a team to help you out with applications and your profile but it's not completely helpful. It's just the basics that they cover and the internship opportunities that exist are limited and highly competitive so the chances to land one are low. You have to try hard each time.

BSc in Economics - Batch of 2025

4.1
Amazing student life and friendly peers.
Tips: The lecturers are absolutely top notch. Scholarships are available but can be extremely competitive to achieve. Warwick University is an amazing place to grow and learn but getting a sponsored job is something which only the top 1% of students manage to achieve. Good experiences.
Likes (Student Life): Student life at Warwick is amazing. You have the opportunity to meet people from all backgrounds. Work life balance with a lot of support available. Different clubs to take part in from academic and career societies to cultural ones. There is always something happening on campus to keep you engaged.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Fresh grads can expect to earn anywhere from 22,000 to 70,000 depending on the role. Front office finance and corporate law firms pay the most but these roles are really difficult to get. Most students have to return home due to them not being able to secure sponsored roles, which is especially true for master's students. The UK job market is turbulent right now and the number of students looking for sponsored roles is very high.

A place which helps you get out of your comfort zone and makes you strong and independent.
Tips: Being an international student, it’s quite difficult to secure a job here, especially with sponsorship. It can take you months to land one job. So the sooner you try, the better. It also depends on the role you are aiming at. So targeting the right companies go a long way. Compare the course structure with other universities when applying. You might want to consider the place also as Warwick is in Coventry which is a small town in the UK. The university provides great exposure if you use the facilities to their full potential.

Enriching experience with both personal and professional growth.
Tips: Before coming to Warwick, just need to know the basics of cooking and how to do your personal laundry. I learnt a lot of stuff after actually landing here. However, it's a great experience as one gets to learn to be self-independent. I unfortunately did not avail any scholarship as I applied quite late. Overall, I am very satisfied with my course and the country.
Likes (Post study jobs): Since I studied business and marketing, I was keen on applying for jobs in the UK however I started this process while pursuing my Master's. I was fortunate to secure a job right after that at Amazon in Manchester. The University of Warwick does provide ample support when it comes to supporting student jobs.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Since Warwick is quite pricey, learning the basics of cooking is of utmost importance for every student, I feel. The old coffee tavern was my go to. Lots of places have a lot of student discounts so one must carry their student ID. I personally prefer cooking myself since I prefer eating healthy.

Experience at the University of Warwick.
Tips: Self study is very important. Applying for internships since year 1 is essential. Learn how to cook before moving to the UK. Living alone abroad changed my perspective towards life and how I think. As someone who has lived abroad, I highly recommend the experience.
Likes (Public transportation): Buses from the University to Leamington Spa and Coventry are very convenient. Uber is also available to go anywhere. The nearest airport is Birmingham. And trains for London are also available from both Leamington Spa and Coventry. You can get a bus pass made for students for everyday commute.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Warwick is a campus university about 15-20 minutes away from both Leamington Spa and Coventry. On campus food options are very limited and delivery options are expensive. Please learn how to cook before moving to the UK. Grocery stores and Tesco are available on campus.

Been an eventful journey.
Tips: There was a slight culture shock but nothing that took too long to get used to especially once I adapted. People are more particular on boundaries here than a lot of other places and classwork is taken very seriously. Warwick is located in a charming town where the rent is much lower than places like London, which helps in bringing down your cost of living. They also have some of the best business programs and even though the job market is tough to break into, some of my peers have gotten decent placements. The key is to start early.

Great campus and a welcoming environment.
Tips: Very academically structured, making you do the best you can in the university. Warwick has a very global campus with a lot of Indians here as well, and Indian cuisine and ingredients are readily available, although you have to pay a bit extra. My biggest expenses have been food so far. Professors are very involved but also particular about the quality of work delivered. The weather is on the colder side, especially during the winter.

Strong learning and enriching experience.
Tips: Students should know that Warwick is academically rigorous and offers many opportunities but it is important to plan well for finance, accommodation and cultural diversity. My transition was smooth, though I had to adjust to fast-paced academics and a multicultural environment, which turned out to be very enriching. Part-time jobs are available on and around campus but they can be competitive. Warwick also has strong career services and global networking although the current UK job market for graduates is not very favourable. I did not avail myself of any scholarships.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is well connected to Coventry city centre and nearby areas through frequent bus services, especially Stagecoach and National Express buses. These buses run regularly even late in the evening and offer student passes that make travel economical. Trains from Coventry station also connect easily to major cities like Birmingham and London, making travel beyond the city very convenient. Public transport around Warwick is well structured, student-friendly and cost-effective.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): My main focus in choosing Warwick was the quality of education and international exposure not settlement opportunities. Immigration chances depend largely on government policies and career pathways so I believe the chances of permanent settlement are limited and uncertain. I may be open to short-term work opportunities in the UK for experience but I do not plan to settle there permanently.

Academically focused and structured coursework.
Tips: When you join any course, ensure you read all the required coursework. If the course involves programming, take relevant courses and try to have a basic understanding before starting. This will help you learn and understand more efficiently.
Likes (Indian Food): Coventry offers a wide variety of Indian restaurants for dine-in and takeaways. I often cook my own meals because I am a vegetarian, and also because eating out every day is too expensive for a student; it can cost 20-30 each time.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Due to recent government immigration rule changes, the post-study work visa period has been reduced from 24 months to 18 months. There have also been changes regarding dependents, and skilled worker visa requirements have increased from 5 to 10 years, with fewer jobs now eligible.

Diverse learning environment and a vibrant community.
Tips: Transitioning to college life is a major phase in any student's life, and studying in a new country comes with its own set of challenges. You need some time to adjust and adapt to the new culture/environment, and after that, the new country/college starts feeling like home with your friends around. Freshers need to understand that they are not alone feeling like, there are thousand of other students away from their home feeling the same way- the best way to cope with initial adjustment phase is to attend as many events as possible, network and socialize this way you will find your own people which will make this phase a lot more easy and fun. There are various scholarship options available at Warwick; information regarding them is mentioned on their website. I am very much satisfied with my university and my course. Studying Economics at Warwick was an amazing experience; the academic rigour, faculty support and diverse student community truly enriched my personal and professional growth.
Likes (Safety): A typical day in college would be like attending classes, working on assignments in the library, running errands like grocery shopping and unwinding with friends and flatmates. The thing I cherished the most in my college life was having fun with my friends on the college campus. Warwick's campus is one of its standout features- set in the countryside, it offers calmness and refreshment- away from the bustling noise of the city, while some might not want this vibe, but I personally loved it. All sorts of events happened on campus, ranging from different types of festival celebrations to career-focused fairs, TED Talks and speaker sessions- every week there is something or the other happening, and you can choose to attend/participate in them. There are around 200+ different types of clubs and societies on campus, focusing on various things, whether to want to join the Indian Society, play badminton, support social causes by volunteering or by joining groups like UNICEF, there is something for everyone at Warwick. You can choose the ones you resonate with the most according to your liking and associate with them.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The faculty is very friendly and supportive; if students have any doubts/problems, they are always willing to offer that extra help. You can reach out to them via email regarding your doubts or even set a time for a one-on-one meeting virtually or in-person; they are genuinely eager to help the students in any way possible. The thing which I found unique in my department was the provisions of pre-recorded video, approximately an hour long for each designed module, that we were meant to watch at our own pace and convenience before the classes, which was basically an overview of the upcoming lecture content. This approach helped us come better prepared to the classes, prompting more active engagement during discussions and group activities. The faculty is very diverse; you can find lecturers/tutors from various parts of the world, each bringing their own unique perspective.

Tips: I chose Warwick because of the course structure, and I was not disappointed. You are made to be employable and well prepared, and people here take their work very seriously, so should you. Take the train to Birmingham to get some real Indian food, and you'll have to rely mainly on cooking here. MSc Engineering Business Management (EBM) - Batch of 2025

Highly academic, supportive and career oriented.
Tips: After coming to Warwick University, I noticed a big cultural shift in me and the surrounding people. People are polite and supportive here. However, people tend to be independent from a very early age, which is why they are competitive and strong-willed. Coming here, I started being independent myself, pushing myself beyond my comfort zone, which helped me grow and mature as a person. I got the WMG excellence scholarship, thus reducing my fees by 25%. I really love the university. It is vibrant, welcoming, with an on-campus cafe and a support centre for everything like career, well-being, health, academic, etc.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fees are around 30,000 pounds. However, you have free access to the library, computer centres, all software, teachers, networking events, career events, and career counselling. Furthermore, Warwick is a top university with a great reputation. There are job fairs and events where employers come to campus, and this is a great way to network. In addition, the university is inclusive, equal to all, safe, and academically effective.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Fast-food restaurants, such as McDonald's, have menus that average 3 to 7 pounds. Other options include Franzos, with an average meal cost of 10 pounds, and Greggs, which averages 2 to 5 pounds. There are several cafes and restaurants where the average cost of a one-time meal is approximately 6 pounds. I would rather cook for myself; however, there is a tiffin centre that can deliver vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals directly to your residence for 7 pounds.
