Great faculty and highly engaging student life.
Tips: Students should be prepared to work hard since they'll be on their own a lot. The cultural shift was noticeable but manageable. The university has good faculty, but it's really up to you how you use it. Don't slack. Do lots of personal projects, go to career fairs, and network like crazy. Above all, though, if you're in IT, build a portfolio website. The country is safe and offers a warm welcome, and there are no other issues based on gender, sex or colour.

Heriot-Watt university where safety, peace and future lies ahead
Tips: First of all life and the thought process change after coming to a different country. Britain is a place where most people are open-minded hence coming from a religious background makes us think as normal human beings. I got a scholarship of 1500 pounds from my university for an interview that they conducted before providing CAS. University life was so good that never made me regret it during my entire course. United Kingdom is a place where nature is touched with development so the feel while living in Edinburgh is perfect. The course and the study structure are so good that enable us to get a deep understanding of the course as well as prepares us for the current engineering situation.
Likes (Student Life): I study at Heriot-Watt University at Edinburgh, the university is situated towards the countryside which has a nice view. This provides the peaceful experience that I and other students have at the university. Each day we would go to the university for our daily classes and is most enjoyable when we are friends with the professor. Our university conducts different events. The most fun is the beer festival which of course is one good experience. Participation in the events depends on our classes and the timing of the events. There are different student clubs that are active all throughout the year.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are wide variety of jobs here in UK which can obviously be found in the largest job-serving platform called "indeed". No matter what the job is the candidate must go through the interview process. The hiring people look into the candidate's capability of doing the work and the ability to adapt to their environment. The minimum wage in UK is 10.42 pounds so usually the starting salary range is around 21000 pounds. As we all know each job has its own value and the pay of the job lies in parallel to the nature of the work done. One thing I like to point out is about visa sponsorship, many companies offer work visa sponsorship and the number of companies that offer Tier-2 work visas is growing day by day. All the details of it can be found on the official website of UK Visa and Immigration. The chance of getting an offer for visa sponsorship depends on the candidate's performance in the company.

One of the best experience
Tips: There are scholarships provided at the start of the admission. You need to ask about those. The university is very particular about the assignments. Lots of skills are polished. Personality is developed overall. The country and university are really safe for students.
Likes (Student Life): There are lots of activities present in the student union. The library has an immense collection of books. The student union weekly has some other activities for students to keep them engaged. Games night, movies are also planned to make you feel less homesick.
Dislikes (Internships): The university helps in the preparation of CV and cover letter for applications. It helps you in interview preparation. They do not give interview opportunities. There are no on-campus placement options. The student has to take their own efforts to grab any internship.

Helpful teachers at Heriot Watt University.
Tips: Students can expect a great time studying here. The campus is amazing, classrooms are upbeat and equipped with modern technology. Faculty is up to the mark. Just hunt out for cheaper accommodation if you can near the campus to save on traveling cost.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teachers are great here. Very helpful when it comes to taking special classes and attending student queries. They have a great sync-up with students and encourage doubts even after classes. Every professor is highly acclaimed and qualified to deliver great learning.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university is quite expensive when it comes to transportation and living. I am living with my relatives but still due to lack of time for pursuing part time opportunities, the cost goes way higher for students with a tight monthly budget. Fee is high as well.

Best campus experience. Good opportunities at HERIOT WATT UNIVERSITY.
Tips: With the number of international students here, it's a very easy transition just the weather is a little cold so be prepared for that. Other than that, feel right at home! Scholarships are available if you apply for them early on in the process. Overall, quite happy with my choice of course and the HERIOT WATT University is a beautiful place to live, would definitely consider studying here. Likes;- The university has a job board through which students can apply for part-time jobs and internships. However, they should also check LinkedIn regularly for any new openings. Often, professors and university staff post vacancies on LinkedIn as well as emails, so keep a tab on your emails as well. Dislikes;-Hostel may improve the taste of food.

This university is worth for money and a respectable one in Edinburgh.
Tips: Do research about your course details correctly before selecting one, go through the entire website for courses, accommodation and the living culture. Talk to the seniors if have chance to contact them. Join groups in social media to find the information.
Likes (Safety): High safety rules and always monitored in the city and inside university. Good ethical safety culture maintained in the university. No need to worry on getting lost inside university as you can find security officials everywhere who can guide you.
Dislikes (Indian Food): If you can self cook, then you have no issues, if not then getting native food is expensive. You can still get ready to eat food inside university but not in large volume. If you have good baggage weight then pack good amount of packed foods from India itself.

No value, high fees, DO NOT PREFER PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES OVER PUBLIC ONE'S IN GERMANY!
Tips: Just ground floor of campus physically present. Looks like fraud because in India education campuses are huge. But after paying high feels eventually need to go through degree somehow. I got covid scholarship and they failed deliberately the whole batch to regain their respective feels.
Likes (Safety): No matter if you are drunk and alone at 12:00 midnight. Nobody will charm you. Very safe being a woman. Employee rights are safe. Great sense of freedom and work-life balance. Internal fraud and money extortion per subject (€2000) by failing most of the students deliberately is their duty, sitting in the business/education institution. No campus placements or career guidance is just promised but not executed. High marketing and high commission are provided to consultants in India so that people can trust blindly but not value institutions. The worst college ever in the whole country!
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I gave post-study jobs a low rating because trying to land a job or internship in Munich without speaking fluent German is a massive wall. A lot of students come to EU Business School assuming English is enough for business roles, but local companies and even multinationals here expect B2 or C1 German. Refusing to learn the language early on is a huge mistake that leaves people struggling for months—sometimes years—on their job-seeker visa without landing anything in their field.

Overall, it is satisfactory. However, it is imperative to exert significant effort in the job
Tips: Look, the single biggest thing you need to realize before coming to EU Business School is that while your classes are 100% in English, everyday life in Germany is not. You cannot just coast on English outside the classroom and expect things to go smoothly. If you want to land a Werkstudent job, find an internship, or even deal with basic bureaucracy like registering your address (Anmeldung) and opening a bank account, speaking at least conversational German (B1/B2 level) is an absolute necessity. The course material itself is fast-paced, but your biggest hurdle won't be the coursework—it'll be navigating local life and the job market if you don't take learning German seriously from day one.
Likes (Safety): I gave safety a top rating because Munich is honestly one of the safest major cities in Europe, and that makes student life so much more stress-free. Whether you're coming back late from a night out around Kulturfrikfabrik or walking to the U-Bahn after an evening study session you never feel like you have to constantly check over your shoulder. The public transport system—U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and trams—is clean, reliable, and feels totally secure even in the early hours. Even around the main station (Hauptbahnhof) or major transit hubs, it’s nothing like the sketchy environments you see in other big European capitals. As an international student at EU Business School, not having to worry about basic physical safety or street crime lets you actually focus on your studies and enjoy living in Bavaria.
Dislikes (Internships): I gave internships a lower score because EU Business School doesn't actually place you into a company—you have to do all the heavy lifting yourself. While the university hosts events like Business Immersion Weeks (BIW) to bring in guest speakers and company reps, those sessions are more for general networking and high-level insights rather than direct job offers or structured placement pipelines. The Career Services team is there to critique your CV or point you toward portals like JobTeaser, but when it comes to landing an actual werkstudent position or compulsory internship in Munich, it’s 100% on you. Unless you're grinding on LinkedIn every week or speak enough German to get by, campus networking alone isn't going to get you hired.

A stepping stone into the big leagues
Tips: Try to have attendance and not miss a lot of lectures; the retake fee for all the courses individually is very high, so try to not have any backlogs. I personally got a 20% scholarship, but 20% is more like a discount rather than a scholarship, so try pushing for more, as the university is on the expensive side. I personally believe that I would've made more out of this opportunity if I had been more inclined from the very beginning towards the process of getting aligned with the German language and culture.
Likes (Safety): I wouldn't say there was any special campus security because it is not really a campus. It is basically two buildings where you also have some other offices, so it is mostly protected by the police of the vicinity, but safety in Munich is not an issue. Munich itself is a very safe place to stay, live, and work. Also, it is entered by tourists and also a lot of international computers, so there is a good mix of history, culture, and diversity.
Dislikes (Student Life): I gave Student Life a 3/5 because EU Business School operates more like a commuter campus than a traditional university hub. Most days, you come in for your three-hour lecture—or six hours if you have a double block—and once classes wrap up, everyone usually disperses across Munich rather than hanging around on campus all day. The university does offer student initiatives—I joined the Debate Club myself, and there are finance and fitness groups floating around—but because the campus footprint is quite compact and urban, there isn't that massive, bustling campus atmosphere you might expect elsewhere. You basically have to manufacture your own social life in Munich—the clubs give you a place to start, but don't count on campus events to hand you a friend group.

Waste of money and time. even for graduation we have to pay 600€ which makes no sense,
Tips: They will help you with basic information, but in the end you only have to figure everything out for yourself. They mostly have Asian students, so as I said earlier, don't expect much of an international exposure. I would not recommend EU Business School, especially the Munich campus, to new students, as it's private, and before you get to know what's happening around you, you will be done with your studies. If you get a course in a public university, make sure to try to get into that.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport here is safe, clean, and very easy to understand. You will find transportation every 500 meters. Mostly it's on time, but regional trains sometimes run late. Also, we have the Deutschland ticket for 69, and you can travel within all of Germany with that ticket.
Dislikes (Value for money): I gave 2 because as a finance student I ended up studying marketing. Not that I am complaining, but I was not expecting that. Also didn't get much of an international exposure and ended up having a SPAN degree, which is not that strong in the current German market.

INDIAN INDIAN INDIAN IN MUNICH
Tips: If you want to come, learn German till B2 at least. Also, be outgoing and the one who genuinely likes to have fun. Be laid-back; work on yourself. And don't stress. Also, students in this university are really busy with jobs and stuff and are not socializing much. One of the reasons is most international students are Eastern European, and Eastern Europeans aren't fun; they are kind of weird, loll. If you want to have fun, you have to make friends at work.
Likes (Safety): It's Munich, mostly a rich, kind of German-speaking population. The police here are super strict compared to other states. Also, German lovers' rules: they follow instructions. So the city as a whole is pretty safe; I mean, I get blacked-out drunk every weekend, and I don't remember how I get home, but I reach home.
Dislikes (Internships): Because this university doesn't provide mandatory internships to students, and this ***. There is little to no guidance regarding internships. They do have something called "company meets," where a lot of companies come with their both and stuff, but these companies are rarely hiring.

A beginning to what you want to do in the business world
Tips: You should know that you wouldn't be getting a campus like a big fancy American or British college but you would get an understanding of how the business world operates They would teach you business frameworks and how to arrange your thoughts, which is the aspect that gets lost when you get engrossed with thoughts about the functioning or research findings.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The huge upside at EU Business School’s Munich campus is that most of your professors aren't career academics who have spent their whole lives inside a library—they are active entrepreneurs, consultants, and industry executives working right here in Munich's corporate hub. They bring real-world case studies, current market strategies, and actual business failures directly into the classroom. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that being a brilliant business manager doesn't automatically make someone a natural educator. A few lecturers rely heavily on unstructured discussions or personal anecdotes rather than a polished pedagogical style. But honestly, I’d still trade a dry textbook lecture for raw, pragmatic industry experience any day—it gives you a much better picture of how global business actually works.
Dislikes (Value for money): Should have paid less for the amount I did, but private universities in Germany are not cheap, so that changes the way I look at it. The campus is another factor. When I came to this university, the campus was really small, but the good part is that it has expanded since then, and now I feel it's much better.

Things to know before joining EU Business School
Tips: We need to study and do the assignments from the beginning as there are deadlines for all assignments. Kindly note it's difficult to extend the deadline without proper reasons until and unless if you are sick and have a proper doctor certificate. Professors are very good and you will get practical experience from them which is very important for job seeking and Entrepreneurship.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): In Germany, there is a criteria to follow which are simple and easy as compared with other countries. These criteria are: Speak German upto B1 level, have a decent salary, stay in Germany upto 4 to 5 years after your completion of study. Jobs are bit difficult to get at the beginning even if you are experienced however once you get a full time job and if you can survive 6 months in the company, you get your permanent position.
Dislikes (Value for money): Compared to other universities, fees is low. However there is a bad part in this university, passing marks is 70 and if you get below 70 in any subject, you need to pay approximately 2000 euros to retake the subject and they don't give you degree or rather not applicable for dissertation if you have below 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 as per UK system of study. Keeping that in mind, one should move forward. To get more CGPA, you can redo a subject however you need to pay 150 euros per subject.
