KCL College review- good
Tips: Good college, extremely well diverse, offers variety of courses and subject options, good exposure and experience, good facilities. I am satisfied with university and course exposure but opportunities after graduation are less and becomes v difficult
Likes (Public transportation): Extremely well-connected city, accessible from everywhere and anytime. Tubes and buses are well connected. Traveling is expensive in London; however, the city life makes it worth it! Also the best city for walking and exploring in good weather, so nice overall.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition course structure is good; however, the job market and opportunities aren’t great! No real-world exposure and job search help. Very expensive course and stuff in general. Exam structure is good. But it's very expensive to live as an international student.

King's College London - LLM- 2024-25 review
Tips: Okay, super basic: moving to London, everyone will tell you, "Don't carry excess stuff from India"—very true—you'll anyway buy grocery items, winter clothing, and household items, so listen to those views. Value for money—It's really on you—network, engage with students and professors, and just explore the city. There's a lot more to develop than just academically—do all you can. If you want to secure jobs and work, apply from the very beginning.
Likes (Indian Food): Too many Indian food options; also, you've got more palate-aligned ones like Malaysian and Turkish and more, so no problem. Prices are expensive, but manageable options are plentiful. Grocery chains keep a well-stocked variety of cuisines so you're set. If you're a student, ask for student discounts everywhere—even if it's not mentioned—most places have them!
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Honestly, the job market is demanding and harder. As a lawyer coming from international areas like India, you have inherent limitations like SQE that you'll have to consider. Sponsorship isn't easy, and permanent residence is harder due to immigration law changes. That said, if the way forward suits you, always try—just keep in mind that there might be more factors you have to consider as you make your way.

An academic Journey of Fun
Tips: Moving to the UK is definitely a shift—the lifestyle is super fast-paced, the weather is completely all over the place and the uni system relies a lot on you teaching yourself though they still keep an eye on your progress. Because of that, the whole teaching style and classroom setup might feel pretty weird at first, but honestly, it’s actually pretty logical, and you’ll get the hang of it in no time.
Likes (Public transportation): Very well connected to go to several places to and from the university. Just a 4 min walk to the underground tube station and several bus stops just outside the campus. There is also an easy option to hop on cycles, and with a monthly pass and student Oyster, it's quite affordable.

What to do and expect at King's College London in your MS degree.
Tips: In terms of Asian countries, it is very different. People are very friendly; however, everyone has a whole personal life of their own that is separate. Everyone only plays for what they have personally ordered; money is a sensitive topic. For scholarships, one needs to apply very early, and it might only be beneficial for people who actually need money and come from low-income households, as there are a lot of applicants (KCL has one of the highest numbers of students). One needs to start applying soon after joining the university and not wait for the course to end. For interviews and impressions with professors, it is necessary to understand the art of having a conversation, as the evaluations are very behavior-oriented and soft-skill-oriented besides technicality. The course is satisfactory, but for a master's degree, 1 year might seem like a very short time, as you only get to touch or overview a lot of the practical work. London is very busy and fast but also very vibrant and enjoyable; there are a lot of options for free fun too.
Likes (Public transportation): London is very well connected; one can find tubes, buses, trams, cabs, and cycles all over the city. Most of the campuses are very close to tube stations, and bus stations are available in mostly all of the areas in London. With an Oyster and Railcard, one can get some benefits on tubes and buses. However, you need to go to the station to connect the two cars and get some benefits (not available online). These are good for frequent travelers.
Dislikes (Internships): Guidance is available on campus (in limited numbers), and an online portals is available for career opportunities, but I personally could not find a relevant internship or job in my field there. On-campus positions are mostly student ambassador roles, and lab positions are mostly available for Ph.D. candidates.

It's difficult to secure sponsorships.
Tips: There is nothing in particular you should know about this university. The university is amazing and has historical significance and the faculty is great. Try to get accommodation outside the ones given by the college since the college ones are very expensive. There is no cultural shift; it depends on how outgoing a person you are and the best way to get yourself in the limelight and even to get a job, you need to be socially available and engage in conversation with people.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty was amazing, they are really caring and try to solve the issues you have regarding a particular topic as much as possible. State of the art tech and amazing libraries to help students upskill in their academics, and help you in whichever way possible.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Given the current scenario of the UK job market it's really difficult to get a sponsorship in the UK. What students generally do is take a PSW and try to get jobs. Studying abroad should be taken as a qualification to upskill yourself. For international students studying in the top universities in the UK the chances of getting a sponsorship are close to 10-15%, so keep that in mind and try to manage studies and applications for jobs at the same time.

Great course, great city, and solid experience overall.
Tips: The transition was fairly smooth. King's is in central London so the cohort is very international, which makes it easier to settle in. The bigger adjustment is London itself rather than the university. Academically, the M.Sc. Data Science movies fast so time management matters from week one.
Likes (Post study jobs): From my experience, about 50% companies I got interviews from had a sponsorship license and were willing to sponsor at the end of my graduate visa. Job roles initially can be structured as contacts with the option to extend or change to convert to permanent. On average, a graduate's salary ranges from 30,000 to 40,000 annually.
Dislikes (Value for money): More expensive than some colleges, like the University of Birmingham or University College London, offering the same course, especially for international students. On top of being in London which is more expensive than the rest of the UK by about 40%, the course is more expensive for no reason.

They don't provide placement, only guidance.
Tips: I am really satisfied with my course, it is preparing me for the real world jobs in my field. The cultural differences are there, it takes some time to adjust but making friends being social and having companions going through something similar helps the process.
Likes (Post study jobs): For my course there are plenty of jobs available in the UK.
It's about making your own connections. Use LinkedIn and meet people at various job fairs, etc. To make connections. That helps mostly. It is also a good practice to keep in touch with alumni of the course and ask them about how they find jobs, what are the steps they took and what kind of connections they made.
Dislikes (Internships): There is plenty of guidance available, although they do not give placements as it's done in India. There are placement blocks, etc. which help with navigating what kind of jobs you're looking for and providing you with help on how to go about it and how to make the right connections as well as achievable goal setting.

A transformative and globally enriching experience.
Tips: Finding finance internships was tough but the school's really good about helping with jobs. You can meet with faculty one-on-one for your resume, applications and interview prep. King's even has internships during the summer after the second term. They have extra stuff like investment funds and 20 free courses, workshops, and stuff. How much you get out of it really depends on how much you put in.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty is extremely approachable and helpful. They teach well and respond quickly to emails. They taught us further by making smaller groups of 15-20 people for tutorials where personal attention is given. They taught using the latest technology and good practical knowledge. The teaching faculty is diverse; I have seen teachers from most nationalities across Europe and there were Indian teachers as well.

The teaching methodology is different and highly practical-oriented.
Tips: KCL is a premier college. The teaching there is very action oriented and practical in nature. At least as was the case in my course. The professors treat you with respect and each student is appointed a tutor who helps not only with academic issues you might be facing but also with any emotional issue you might have. They are very supportive. Learning is fast paced and you will not have plenty of time to do much else during the master's courses. I would suggest not going there with an expectation of finding a job as there is a job crisis and its particularly bad for immigrants trying to find a permanent position and the careers team at the university is of very little help. Just come with the expectation to study and learn and the environment of London will sweep you away. It's a very enriching experience.

Likes (Safety): Since the university was in Central London, the safety was immaculate. My student accommodation was in Central London as well. Check out the faculty and modules before enrolling.
Tips: A student must check the modules and most importantly, the faculty. International students can apply for a discount of up to 10K GBP which is called vVce Chancellor Award.
The course could have been better; it was fine but for the price I paid, I had better expectations.
Likes (Indian Food): There are plenty of food options all around London. Like in every street every corner you can get the food you want. The city offers food for every nationality but if you want to experience British food then vegetarian people might struggle with finding good food as fast food corners or local cafes lack good vegetarian food.
Dislikes (Internships): There are very less to no internships available for Master students. For undergraduate students, it's very good but not for post graduate students. Also, only students with prior work experience get the internship
There are internships but mainly for undergraduates.

Good exposure and growth.
Tips: After spending a year in London, I realised the real meaning of exposure. I was glad and felt privileged that I got to experience this wonderful city. I could not avail any scholarships as the application deadline was over but there is definitely a scope for everyone to receive a scholarship. I am extremely satisfied with the experience that I had in college. It offered me the latest knowledge in my chosen field.
Likes (Indian Food): There were several types of restaurants in almost all corners of the city. King's College London is located in the heart of London and has ample of restaurants offering all types of cuisines. There is a place called Sagar, which offers amazing veg Indian food.
Dislikes (Internships): The college only organised a few work fairs at the beginning of the session. There was little to no organisation of the student communication channel so that all students from the same classroom can get to know each other. There are no on-campus corporate internships available and all students have to search for opportunities off campus.

Small campus but great student life.
Tips: I learnt what real exposure means after coming to King’s College London. I changed completely after studying for just a year. I could not avail of any scholarships. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of life and education King’s offers. The professors are extremely helpful and are always willing to guide students to the fullest. The lecture and class pattern is arranged such that students get enough time to prepare and learn on their own. The flipped classroom approach (online + offline) is something that didn’t sound good at first but the importance of it came into light later in the year.
Likes (Student Life): The college although it has a small campus size but offers a large number of club activities including sports and fitness, cultural and heritage and other forms of arts. There are several lounging spaces throughout the campus and the facilities are top notch with student mental health in mind.
Dislikes (Part time work): Work fairs and part time centric fairs were only held during the start of the session and then there were minimal to no updates on this topic. Even during these work fairs, companies explained about the roles and offered goodies but the application was still online with no real opportunity highlighted.

Select the course you are interested in, rather than just the college name.
Tips: The quality of your experience largely depends on the course you adopt or take up. Be sure to vet the contents of the course and also know of your faculty members teaching here before investing. The institution is renowned for Competition law and other allied specialities. Do your homework thoroughly before investing.
Likes (Internships): Guidance is available on the careers page of the website, and the alumni network is helpful. The alumni base on LinkedIn is also very helpful in guiding one in the application forms as to the kind of answers and responses that should be given in the application forms for an internship to materials.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The label of any university is not sufficient - work experience and individual merit matter very much. Will strongly recommend applying for internships in the UK alongside coursework, and also, if you are pursuing a Master's, then gaining some relevant work experience in your home jurisdiction first.

A great global exposure with best faculty and university.
Tips: I have seen major changes in my personality since I joined this course a year ago. From becoming a multi-tasker to widening my perspective towards cultures and people from all around the world, this growth has been a great blessing. I was not awarded any scholarship. I had the most supportive, helpful, intelligent and fun professors in my course. Made the subject matter super easy and they all had great knowledge of their subject. They encouraged doubts and would sit with you till they were all cleared. The course was structured to get the best out of students. The post-study job market is a bit harsh and it would be great if the college took more initiative in having placements for the students. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): If you have a great profile before your Master's - for example, 1-2 years of relevant work experience, professional degrees, etc. - then your chances of getting a post-study job are much better compared to someone going for their Master's right after undergraduate. The post-study job market is very competitive, rewarding only the best candidates.

BSc Physics - Batch of 2025

King's College London does not provide much internship opportunities.
Tips: There was not much of a cultural shift. Coming from a metropolitan city, like Delhi, to another metropolitan didn't seem like much of a difference. The only thing that is needed to get used to the city is the cost of living. Takes about a month or so to adjust to the cost of daily expenses. I did not get any scholarships as I am not eligible for any. Being an Indian male studying Physics doesn't really suit the majority of scholarships at King's. The teaching faculty is generally good but the admin staff is not that great for our department. They will always find a way to make you run around to get basic things like your marks or even exam papers. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Public transportation): Covent Garden and Holborn station are within walking distance of campus, but using public transportation can quickly become expensive if you exceed your budget. Buses are a good alternative, but convenience depends on where you live and the route you travel. The tube is definitely faster.
Dislikes (Internships): There is not much support from the university. Generally, one has to be part of the relevant student groups/societies to get an idea of how the internship process works in the field of choice. The university has some help available to review CVs/Cover Letters and a practice interview round.

Good college with average hostel facilities and bad food.
Tips: Students should try to contact some seniors of the same university they are going to be admitted to so that they can guide them throughout. That way, students don't have to worry about things they don't know. Food options are very limited in Russia compared to India, so if you're vegetarian, you have to be prepared for challenges, because 90% of the population there likes to eat meat. Please bring food and cooking supplies from home, so you will have what you need to eat. There is no chance of getting a permanent visa, only if you are a boy and you marry a Russian girl that's the donation you can get a Russian visa otherwise don't even think of getting a permanent visa because it is none of the use in living in Russia so don't go for it.

The students are not provided with internship even in their last years of studying MBBS
Tips: Students should know that living abroad is not easy. It takes courage, strength, and a positive attitude to thrive. We face many challenges and overcoming them all takes serious grit. You must be mentally prepared to handle whatever is thrown your way. The students are not given the facility of internship even in their last years of studying MBBS. It is the base for any student to be educated practically in their fields, but the students are not given the opportunity to work as interns in the place where they are to get their degrees. Transportation is very convenient in Stavropol. We can track the bus and even we can know the routes of each bus. Until now the bus fares were also so affordable, but now the fares are getting increased. Still, the buses here are safe and easily accessible.

The college is good and is MCI certified.
Tips: After coming here I was so confident and self-dependent. When I was in India, I was dependent on my parents. I was not getting any scholarship because for scholarships you have to pay fees one time only, and we get admissions in government student seats, so that's why we don't get a scholarship. There is a good quantity of transport available for my house and the transport goes all over the city. The prices are also great for us, and it is affordable for students like us. Plus, the condition of the bus is also good. In the city where I am living, there are very limited food options for Indian students, and in terms of permanent settlement, I will not settle here because I don't want to settle here for permanent immigration. Here I want job security and a good life.

The faculty are cooperative and our seniors are very helpful.
Tips: I've had a good experience here so far. The only real problem is the language, but if you put in the effort you'll find it easy enough to learn. I also really like that they offer scholarship programs that are based on how well you do in school and whether you are active in extracurricular activities. The facilities here are great, and the access to things like food and other needs is easy. Getting around town is convenient. Seniors are happy to help, and I don't see any other downsides. Many things make it very easy to learn here. The faculty is excellent, and the faculty members are very friendly and very willing to help in every way possible. The faculty has a way of teaching that makes sure that all students can learn the subjects, and we haven't had any issues with our studies here at all.

We are not allowed to work part-time.
Tips: This school is like any other. You will see different cultures and lots of competition. But like with other colleges, the real challenge is within yourself and not unnecessarily the people you meet. You'll have to learn the hard way, but you'll gain resilience as you build up your skillset. Public transport is a reliable and convenient way to get around, and it's easy to manage everything from your smartphone, including bus routes and schedules. However, the routes and times vary depending on the specific routes. The opportunities for part-time work are limited which can be difficult for students to deal with. A big factor that plays into this is that there are many restrictions on work opportunities for non native citizens or those who speak a different language from the native language of the region. On top of this, many students are too tired from their classes to want to work a second job after their school day.

Average infrastructure with no exceptional faculties.
Tips: I have not experienced any cultural shift. We celebrate in the hostels on our own Indian festivals and New Year's etc. I don't have any scholarships, I pay for everything myself. When I'm feeling like eating out, the budget I've set for myself just won't allow it. Prices in Russia are high compared to my country. Back home, I can get by on 100 rupees, but a single 900-gram bag of food here cost 125 rules. Most of the time I cook for myself. I think I'm doing pretty well, better than some other people.
Likes (Safety): As we all know, Russia has great safety measures for its citizens. Personally, I have never experienced any problems in Russia. However, we should not roam outside after 11 p.m. because alcohol is a common drink consumed here. So, it would be unsafe to be outside late at night. If you have a group of friends, then it would be fine to be out late at night.

The best budget university with exposure to different departments.
Tips: This is a very good college with good facilities and is budget-friendly. There are many part-time jobs available here for students. In this college, the schedule is very time-friendly. We get enough time for self-study. There are separate departments for each and every subject. The hospitals for each department are different, so we get enough exposure to various cases. The connectivity is also very good.
Likes (Public transportation): The transportation facilities here are very good. There are literally many buses every 10 minutes to go anywhere in the city. The transportation is very affordable, starting from only 19 rubles. The condition of all buses is very good.
Dislikes (Part time work): Many of my friends are going for part-time jobs after classes. They are easily managing the part-time jobs and their studies. Anybody can easily get part-time jobs here. They are earning very well.

The university mainly focuses on study and food.
Tips: I rated it a 4 because vegetarian students have difficulty with the food, as in Russia, non-vegetarian items are more common than vegetarian items. My typical day in college involves attending classes and, during breaks, eating lunch or brunch. Students considering this university should familiarize themselves with the language and the food system beforehand. The faculty quality is very nice, due to the university's FMGE pass rate.

Happy to earn quality education at such low tuition fee.
Tips: I am really happy to be here. Scholarships are available, but I am not a scholarship student. The course is good, and the teachers are really good, and so are my classmates. I am really satisfied, and so are my parents. For a scholarship, you need 60% and above in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics overall. it's not affordable to get a quality education at this tuition fee, so it's quite good and reasonable.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fee is justified because they give us a good and well-rounded education for our future. The faculty members are also good and helpful, and they teach well. In India,
Dislikes (Indian Food): I cook for myself because, although food is available here, the spices are different. We cook our own food so that we can get the Indian taste and good food. People here use fewer spices than we do, so we don't get that same taste. Also, mainly non-vegetarian food is available here, so it's an issue for vegetarian people.

Grateful to get admission here with a great scholarship.
Tips: Please check the availability of scholarships for this university. If you are eligible, you can get 5000 rubles every month here. And be sure that you confirm the best-rate fee structure prior to applying here. Trust me, ensure you have every document in-hand that may be required for the admission. Plus, don't give money to anyone without 100% assurance. Go through the curriculum and course structure and understand it. Do check the admission requirements as well.

The university does not provide any cultural events or activities.
Tips: I learned a little Russian, but most people here don't know English. The teachers know some English, but it's hard to understand them. The tuition was the same no matter what agency you joined. I was satisfied with the tuition fee, but some agencies charged a lot more. This college has low-paying service jobs for international students. Most jobs require you to speak Russian fluently, or else they're low-paying jobs as a shopkeeper or waiter. I don't think you get a scholarship until you've paid all your tuition within a year. Also, your scholarship amount varies depending on your marks each semester. You should explore the city and learn new things. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.

Fascinating facilities are top notch faculty.
Tips: I didn't face any problems because my older brother is already a student here. I'm not eligible for a scholarship, but students who are get a monthly stipend based on their grades. There are plenty of off-campus jobs, including construction and working at places like Burger King. You can usually find work that fits your schedule, whether it's 6 hours, 8 hours, or a night shift. The average pay is about 1500 rubles per day. I'm very happy with my course and the university. The country is beautiful, and I'm really enjoying my time here.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Very few vegetarian food options are available at restaurants near the university. The restaurants are mainly swarma shops, pizza places, and burger joints. A single Shwarma costs more than 300 rubles, so I prefer to cook my own food. I brought my own spices from my home country to use in my cooking.

My university is good but not the best!
Tips: Many cultural programs are held here. You can attend and take part in them. Foreigners also get scholarships at the time of admission. You can ask for the same from your consultancy. I am satisfied here as it is not too costly. One problem that we face in 4th year is that we have to study in Russian language.
Likes (Public transportation): We can find transportation easily and the prices are also fixed. Transports like buses, trams and mini buses are available and taxies are also available. Many apps are available to track the buses and you can take your own time to board them.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): To be honest, I like my own country and it is suitable for me. Doctors get low payment after studying from this university. Plus, green vegetables are not available here like India, and you will not find any Indian restaurant or food. But public services are good and the government is good for public.

The university is student friendly and the faculty are really helpful.
Tips: When I came to Stavropol State Medical University, I didn't experience much of a culture shock because the Russian people are very friendly and welcoming, and they love Indian culture. I didn't take advantage of any scholarships myself, but I know some seniors who did, and they were quite good. The public transportation in Stavropol is very good. It is well connected to the campus and the rest of the cities where you have to go for your classes. There are three or four modes of public transportation to choose from, depending on where you need to go. Overall, I'm very grateful to have chosen Stavropol State Medical University, and it was one of the best decisions of my life.
Dislikes (Indian Food): In Stavropol, there aren't many places that serve Indian cuisine, and there is a shortage of halal food. So I cooked for myself. I prefer to cook at home anyway, and I enjoy cooking with friends.

A well cultured, friendly and academically perfect university.
Tips: Students should know how to behave when they are abroad. They should be well-mannered and maintain good hygiene. They can avail of a scholarship based on their 12th marks and NEET marks, which is sufficient to cover 70% of their expenses. There were no reported cases of theft or other crimes. The apartments and hostels were very secure, only those living there had keys to enter. The campus is in a quiet neighbourhood, and the students are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this university to anyone considering studying abroad.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): After MBBS you can easily work in any hospital here and get a good salary. You can also study for PG along with your job, or do PG and get paid. This university has tie-ups with many hospitals that welcome you after graduation.

Stavropol State Medical University has a diverse and welcoming learning environment.
Tips: Students need to be self-sufficient and handle their own affairs. While Russia is a large country that provides basic amenities, the language and food can be challenging. Students should try to learn the language and adapt to the food as soon as possible. The faculty are really understanding and helpful. Overall, I'm satisfied with the course at Stavropol State Medical University.
Likes (Safety): Proper security measures are taken everywhere at Stavropol State Medical University. There are police checks, and people are afraid to do anything wrong because of strict law and order. The locals are very helpful and kind, and they don't practice racism. In the university and hostel, there are electronic entry gate that can be opened only by the student or the administration.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I am a vegetarian, and I found it difficult to find Indian food that I liked. There were many options for non-vegetarians, but very few for vegetarians. I ended up having to cook my own food most of the time. I did go out to eat once a week, but that was just for a change.

A perfect combination of education, performances of concerts, conferences and cultural events.
Tips: The university provides international exposure that you won't get for the rest of your life. I have a scholarship seat that I earned based on my 12th exam and NEET scores. You should be well-mannered and cultured and respect other people's religion. The faculty at Stavropol State Medical University are very cooperative and experienced. They help students in every way possible, including providing exposure to hospital patients and practical knowledge. The faculty are very cool-minded and will never criticize you for anything. It's up to you to behave appropriately and gain knowledge. I'm satisfied with everything about Stavropol State Medical University.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer eating out, but since I am a vegetarian, I usually cook for myself. I have not found Indian food that suits my taste, so I cook for myself. Some students have opened their own food service, where you can pay them 5-6k rubles per month for two meals. They provide a variety of foods, but they are not always vegetarian. Shawarmas and pizza are good

Stavropol State Medical University has a vibrant student life.
Tips: The food in Stavropol is not that great, and the cost is relatively high. I prefer to cook my own food, but I do eat out occasionally. Authentic Russian food is much cheaper, but some people may not like it because it tastes different from Indian food. It really depends on your taste buds. I am getting a scholarship and an allowance of 2.2k. The key to success is your observation skills and the amount of time and effort you put in. Medicine is not as stressful as in India, so you may enjoy it. However, I am not satisfied with the university. It can improve a lot.
Likes (Public transportation): The available modes of transport are great. Buses and cars are relatively easy to find. The fare depends on the type of bus and the weather. Taking a taxi can cost around 19-38 rubles, depending on the distance. But taking a bus in the snow is a nightmare.

The faculty were very friendly and understanding.
Tips: I didn't feel any kind of transition when I came to this college, except for the weather. There are scholarships available. The teachers are very nice and help students in every situation. There are lots of events going on in the college, especially sports, food fests, and concerts. And of course, my college has a separate sports facility for Indian students who play cricket. I am completely satisfied with my university in every case, including security, facilities, teachers, and regular hospital visits. I am completely satisfied with the university.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There is a lot of paperwork to do, and you have to go to different parts of the city to get the documents approved. On the other hand, transportation is cheap and you can get all the documents processed within a week.
