BS in Information Systems Management - Batch of 2024

Very rigorous but worthwhile.
Tips: Studying here has been like a dream for me, but it is really expensive, so you should plan financially or apply for a scholarship. The university career services are quite useful and helpful as well, so you should start early. Take advantage of all available campus resources. If you are stuck in a lesson, peer tutoring can be quite helpful.

Strong academics and intense course-work.
Tips: Be ready for intense coursework as the vibe is competitive to the point, it can be tricky to stand out. My days last up to like ten hours at a time but it does pay off. Keep a positive outlook and engage with both your peers and professors. There's an inside grocery store with an eatery quite near campus.

NYUAD: A Chef's Salad An American Institute in the middleast
Tips: If you are not used to being in a diverse environment, the transition to NYUAD could be difficult. However, it is a very friendly campus with a zero-discrimination policy. For Indians, it is not very difficult to adjust because there's a large Indian community on campus. There are options to get a fully-funded education that covers everything and I got one. Your admission application process is through a common app, and if you want a fully-funded education, you can also submit a college board application. FAFSA will review it, and the university will provide you with financial aid accordingly.
Likes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs depend on your field of study. STEM fields have more demand here but there are also companies who want individuals who have expertise in inter-disciplinary learning. There is definitely some scope but graduation from NYUAD gives me an edge while applying for jobs abroad as well. There is a 95% employment rate.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The UAE only gives you sponsorship visas and you cannot attain citizenship here. However, there are options to get a Golden Visa for 10 years with your academic excellence. If you complete a degree from the world's top 100 universities, you will get a golden visa. I personally enjoy living in the Emirates because it feels nothing less than India.

Had a wonderful grad school experience at NYU.
Tips: I attended New York University and had a wonderful experience. I was awarded a scholarship of 9,000 USD for the entire two years. I had an undergrad GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 which is the reason I was chosen for this scholarship award. If you are considering studying in New York NYU is a good choice. The faculty is very supportive and will help you significantly during your course. Hood experiences.

Tips: Students should know that there will be many cultural shifts, but you will find lots of Indians so it will be good. I got a scholarship so it helps with the expenses. Professors have great knowledge, and the way they teach is unique. Assignments are very unique you will learn a lot from them and be industry-ready. Overall, I am satisfied with my course.

How to live in US as an International MS Student
Tips: NYC is the world capital, so the transition from India was pretty smooth. You get all the food options that you would get in India. The college offers merit-based scholarships, so ensure that your GPA doesn't fall off. The college offers a lot of networking opportunities. Make use of that and build a strong network, as that is what helps the most.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus employment opportunities are a great way to make money while still being in school. The pay is hourly. You can work up to 20 hours per week as a full-time student. The workload is manageable along with the academics. There are plenty of on-campus options which you can find on the college job board. Reach out to professors for those roles as well.
Dislikes (Safety): A lot of things can happen in NYC and you have to ensure to be safe at all times. Keep track of the surroundings. Apart from campus security, colleges organise sessions to keep international students informed about the various facilities along with common safety measures, which students can use to ensure their safety.

Living is a bit costly but it will be worth it.
Tips: Everything will be costly, and it's super easy to go beyond your budget. One of the best cities to live in, especially if you are used to being around a lot of people. Public transportation is the best in the country. On-campus jobs pay $29 per hour, which is excellent.
Likes (Student Life): It's New York City. Living in and around a city that many have only seen in movies. Probably every second corner is featured in one of the famous movies. There's a great nightlife if you want it, but it will cost you a limb. An immense number of on-campus clubs and communities are available.
Dislikes (Internships): Currently, internship opportunities are limited. As expected, career fairs are not very beneficial. The career center has made efforts to assist, but ultimately, it is the student's responsibility to secure an internship, and currently, the global market is unfavorable.

The best decision of my life.
Tips: NYU is in the heart of New York City, and it is one of the most multicultural places in the world. If you want to find Indian restaurants and Indian people to hang out with, you will find them here and if you want to meet people from all over the world they are right at your doorstep. I did not avail of a scholarship. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at NYU and the United States.
Likes (Quality of faculty): NYU law has some of the foremost authorities in their fields teaching you. The classes are engaging, the syllabus is well thought out with difficult yet enriching final assessments. There is a super wide range of classes to choose from all equipped with industry leaders as professors. Diversity in nationality of the teaching faculty was not a criterion I considered important so I have never paid attention to this.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market for international LLM's is extremely challenging with the demand for international legal talent in the US seemingly being far lesser than the supply. Having said that NYU Law does provide some solid fellowships for LLM's pursuing a public interest path.

Opportunities Unveiled with positive learning environment
Tips: Similar to any other international student I experienced a significant cultural transition. It took me around a month to transition completely into this new environment. The university has been fulfilling offering a positive learning environment and numerous opportunities for personal and academic growth. My satisfaction level with the university, my course (MSCS) and the country has been high.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I gave a rating of 5 to the Quality of Faculty because the professors in my department are renowned experts in their fields. Their teaching methods are unique, with the added benefit of easily accessible resources, including class recordings and lecture notes. The professors come from various regions of the world providing a global perspective in the learning environment.
Dislikes (Part time work): I found that on campus job opportunities are somewhat limited and it's recommended to start applying early. As a Masters's student I could only apply to on-campus part-time jobs in my first year, however in my second year I had the freedom to apply for off-campus part-time jobs as well. Balancing part-time with academics gets a little hectic but it is manageable. The payout for on-campus part-time is between 25-30/hr.

Amazing journey and abundant learnings
Tips: I learned to plan my time well which helped me to take on courses, study and prepare well for the job market. I received an 18K scholarship split over 2 years dependent on maintaining at least 3.33 GPA. I am satisfied with NYU, USA is a good place to be.
Likes (Public transportation): MTA in NYC is well connected and easier to travel through once you know how to. The fare is $130 for an unlimited metro pass for a month. Each individual ride costs $2.9, while if you travel to college frequently, then you pay via OMNY NFC pay, which allows you to travel without having to use a MetroCard.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Needless to say, PR in USA is getting competitive day by day. A large number of students apply to the USA and given the H1-B lottery system, it is competitive and based on luck. Having said that, PR shouldn't be the primary motivation for pursuing Master in the USA.

Tips: NYU gives out scholarships if you have a good UG GPA. Personally, the transition worked out for me, talking about cultural shifts I would say that ain't big of an issue. Overall I'd say I am more than satisfied with my decision to pursue a masters not exclusively academic but decent.
Likes (Public transportation): New York has the best public transport. The subway which functions round the clock, and public buses as well are very well connected and easily navigable. Connectivity to surrounding cities is good as well you could reach Jersey in 10 minutes. The costs as well don't cut that deep into the pocket

MS Mechatronics and Robotics - Batch of 2024

A wholesome once in a lifetime experiece.
Tips: Common issues irrespective of university: 1. Getting acclimated to the culture of the place, weather, neighbourhood etc. 2. Having a network of support and building friends. 3. Shift in emphasis from scoring on exams to working consistently. Course specific: You always are loaded with work. More often than not, you find yourself working on the assignments, and projects or catching up with lecture concepts. This may make you feel like you don't have a social life since you know people from other departments have house parties more often. End of the day, I'm glad I pushed through the loads because the learnings I get from these are unparalleled. Remember, we are here to study. This comes first. Scholarships: Merit based scholarship of $4000 per semester of 9 credit. This amount is decided based on the application material, no need for extra application. Satisfaction: If you have a mechatronics background, it's better if you apply to CE and take these subjects. MS mechatronics and robotics as of 25 batches don't have flexibility. Some of the courses that I felt were a waste of money for me were Mechatronics and Entrepreneurship. This reduced the number of core courses that I can pursue. On the other hand, Robotics being a specialisation for CE, all our courses are open for them providing better flexibility. But overall, my knowledge growth has been significant and would say it was worth the money.
Likes (Student Life): You literally have some or the other event every other day. These cover things like social, career, fireside chats etc. There are about 100 clubs in total. So probably there is a club for anything you can name. Every one of these clubs has a target of organizing at least 3 events a semester which means all of them are active clubs. There are multiple project clubs too if you want to get your hands dirty and gain practical experience.
Dislikes (Part time work): Since our batch had the highest intake, the amount of competition was higher as well. This makes it difficult to land an on-campus. Another reason is the pay. Graduate workers minimum wage as on date is 28.25 an hour which makes the department budget stringent in allocating Gas. My course load is hectic when compared to other departments, so an international student with a job other than a desk job will face difficulty handling the same.

My Amazing Experience at New York University.
Tips: To be honest, I haven't experienced any cultural shift. But yes there are scholarship offered along with some allowance. However, the accommodation, which off campus and it cost around 500 USD for sharing and 1700 USD for private room. Traveling by subways is very safe. I am a new incoming student over here, so don't comment on placement. But layoffs are really a great consideration factor. My i20 amount is around 60k. NYU is a great place to study at. Just keep yourself open to everything.
Tips: I did not experience any major cultural shifts at NYU. Make a group of 4 students and preferably look for accommodation together. Would be cheaper that way and less stressful. I received a scholarship from the university and you do not need a separate application for it. You will find many Indian and Chinese students in your class.
Dislikes (Value for money): I kind of feel the tuition fee is justified as NYU makes sure to give everything back via the various events and opportunities it gets for you. Moreover, the university provides an awesome research environment and has one of the highest graduate starting salaries in the United States. Moreover, being in NYC has its own advantage.

Tips: If you wanna join NYU, prep up and tie your horses because this is gonna be a hell of a ride. A very exciting and new adventure, with lots of learning. Best facilities and faculty, the best location.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Best faculty, mentors, and advisors. Quality assurance of study material and what is taught in the classes. Availability of staff, along with the best library.
Dislikes (Safety): Mid Town NYC is a bit scary and there's always a lot of intoxication in States that makes it more annoying. Great experience in the greatest city.
Tips: New York is a difficult city to live in and demands much out of you on a daily basis, if you cannot deal with that NYU is not for you. There is a huge cultural shift but depending on how much you are able to embrace the energy in NY, you will be able to adjust well. I did not need a scholarship so unsure how that works. I was very satisfied with my college experience.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors were exceptional and at the forefront of their fields. The classes were interesting, and some of the professors had incredible teaching methods. The faculty was very diverse, and some were very approachable and easy to converse with, while others were not so much.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave NYU a low rating for permanent immigration options because it's incredibly difficult to immigrate to the United States. The visa process is a lottery system, and it's not easy to get lucky. I never even tried to get a visa because I wasn't interested in staying in the United States long-term.

Good college for studies and accommodation but too expensive.
Tips: Transition is easy because of a lot of Indian students and seniors. No scholarship opportunities available. University is good and the study depends on the professor. Some professors are really strict and some are easy going so pick based on your academic goals.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is really good in the city. We have a bus and a tram. The network is very broad and we can travel to any part of the city for only 2.4 bucks so it is good. The services are also frequent without much wait time. Trams are fast and good.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university fee is very high and on that, we might have to pay more for things like insurance. Great job opportunities after graduation.
Tips: Start applying for on campus jobs before arriving, apply to scholarships wherever possible, as it doesn't hurt to try. If you are considering this university, I would highly recommend going to their Boston campus as they have better infrastructure and facilities at the same cost. This campus is great for people who have relatives staying in Seattle and want to stay with them.
Likes (Indian Food): Ample Indian restaurants in and around Seattle and there are many Indian grocery stores too around the university which give home delivery too if you don't have a car. There are many Indian temples around that provides meals on weekends. I usually cook at home as eating outside can be expensive.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): You can study here on F-1 visa and work on OPT for 3 years including STEM. Post OPT, you will need your H1-B to be picked to continue working in the US. Great faculty and a vibrant working environment.
Tips: The main transition, I think, was understanding the importance of communication and networking. I understood in my initial days that I can't survive if I don't come out of my comfort zone and communicate with people. I have a scholarship of 25000 dollars for my 2 years of study. It's just that the university was established recently, everyone was given this scholarship, but I can assure you that the standards of the college are above the mark of a recently established institution. 90% of our seniors got a co-op in our college. I am really satisfied with the MS AI programme on the Portland campus of Northeastern University.
Likes (Public transportation): We have well-connected free bus transportation to campus with our college ID cards. If we want to go to Boston, Concord Coachlines are available for 25-30 dollars. Therefore, my transportation costs are usually zero until I plan a trip to Boston for work.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There's only one Indian store, Masala Mahal, in Portland, and a bag costs around 40 dollars. We have to travel to Boston or Nashua to find Indian food. Initially, in Spring 2025, we couldn't find Indian products in nearby stores like Costco or Walmart because there wasn't much demand for them.

Great learning experience, academic support, and career opportunities.
Tips: Scholarships are available, and Boston is a lively city with many students. There are lots of career and growth opportunities. The transition was smooth I didn't face any issues and everyone was very supportive. The university has excellent coop opportunities.
Likes (Value for money): The learning experience, academic support and career opportunities justify the tuition fees. The curriculum is well structured and each course involves a final project which helps students gain practical knowledge. Students have access to labs, research resources career services and more.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time work opportunities are limited and competitive. Securing a job often requires early application or networking. On average expect 10-15 hours per week at around 15 to 18 per hour if you secure an on-campus role. Off-campus work is not permitted in the United States.

The college location is good and campus is quite huge.
Tips: There are many people and great opportunities, and I chose my desired course. There are scholarship opportunities in different departments, such as the College of Professional Studies, but I haven't seen them in other departments. Also, I understand that there are scholarships and opportunities to get into background scholarships, course enrollment, early scholarships, and different types. Overall, I am nearly satisfied with the university.
Likes (Part time work): I find it manageable to balance work and studies. While finding part-time work can be challenging initially, it is possible. There are fewer part-time options, but the advantage is the opportunity to find a co-op position. If you find a part-time position, it can lead to a co-op. You can successfully balance studies and part-time work if you are willing to commit and show interest.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The teaching faculty is diverse, and I was able to connect with many Indian professors, which made communication easy. Professors with experience in large tech companies provide excellent knowledge and offer incredible learning opportunities. The teaching method is primarily practical, and exams are conducted in different labs, unlike rote-learning-based assessments.

There are a lot of Indian students and Indian restaurants around Boston.
Tips: There was a small amount of scholarship provided to students. Boston doesn't have a huge cultural shift, in my opinion, as an Indian, because Northeastern has a lot of Indian students and Indian restaurants around Boston. I am very satisfied with the University as they have a very good Co-op program, and almost 50-60% of students have been able to secure one.
Likes (Public transportation): There are 4 lines on the Metro: the Red, Green, Orange, and Blue lines, connecting the entire city. Multiple buses run daily on all routes, and there is a good frequency of buses across the city. Public transport runs from 5 am to 12:30 am.
Dislikes (Safety): The university runs evening and late-night shuttle services within a 2-mile range to ensure student safety. Additionally, public transport options are located right next to the college, eliminating the need for long nighttime walks to access them.

University is very good, value for money, quality education and life.
Tips: Before joining, you should consider your faculty, facilities, location, and transportation. I think the university should be in the city, so it's easy to get around, to live off-campus, and to find a job. There are many student activities and we are encouraged to participate in them. The job market is not so good here at present, so think twice before making any decisions.

The university is academically oriented and friendly.
Tips: The university is academically oriented. We have a lot of clubs, NGOs, and labs. The more we get involved, the more knowledge we gain. The labs are well-equipped and have high-end technology. We also spend a lot of time in the library, which has a lot of global books and research papers.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The diverse experience and the amount of knowledge the university's faculty teaches to its students are exceptional. The university is famous for its research and co-op opportunities. While the faculty is focused on those opportunities, they teach for two hours, and the assignments are of a good level.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Finding our local food is a struggle in most countries apart from India. Getting our comfort food is not a choice. Most of the time, we end up with processed or frozen food items. It is not that we can't get Indian food. We can cook for ourselves, but getting Indian groceries is a bit of a mess. Only selected outlets sell Indian groceries, and even only selected restaurants prepare Indian meals. As usual, they are a dollar more expensive than regular food. But at the end of the day, we can access our comfort food and beverages.

There are too many Indians here.
Tips: Don't smoke weed in the dorms. Don't yell the N word on the road. Come to study and prosper in your career, not just to have fun. Don't work illegally. Remember, your actions define our culture and our people. Think before you act. There are too many Indians here. The Indians in other programs and other universities in the area make me feel like I am back in Bangalore. There is a large problem with plagiarism, especially from the Indian community here. Being a TA, I have reported many. If you choose to come here, please make sure you come for the right reasons, and please have some sense of hygiene.
Likes (Part time work): I worked as an RA and a TA for all my semesters, and it paid well enough for a good life. Do not work illegally, because you will be deported and you will bring shame to our country. TA is good, and I loved it. RA helped me publish papers while I got paid for it.

Boston appeal amid mixed academics and higher education costs.
Tips: Northeastern has a very large intake of students each year, especially international graduate students. If your focus is on part-time on-campus jobs, look for other options. If you are looking to learn something, they have some good faculty members, but you need to do some research on the professors because some just don't care and will read from PowerPoints. It is slightly more expensive than average universities. If you are looking to just take easy courses and graduate, you can do that too, but again, you'll have to research your subjects. It is located in Boston, which is a good place to live.
Likes (Public transportation): Boston has better public transportation than other US cities. Transportation includes MBTA buses and trains. The city is connected using public transportation, although it's late most of the time. However, if you plan your trip carefully, you should be fine. The bus fare is $1.70 per ride, and the train fare is $2.40 per ride. I've been riding a Blue bike for the past year.

The education is decent, but the co-op program and the exposure we get through it make up for that.
Tips: Having Indians around is always a good thing when you first arrive. You will always hear people talking in an Indian language as they walk by. The only problem I had in Boston was the cold weather that goes on for almost 9 months of the year. It’s hard, but you get used to it. I didn’t get any scholarships, but other people did. Scholarships aren’t common for grad students, but there are lots for undergrads. I’m very happy with the city. On the other hand, the university is not that good. The education is decent, but I guess it could be better. However, the co-op program and the exposure you get through it make up for that.
Likes (Safety): Compared to other US states, Boston is very safe. The city's highly educated and sophisticated residents make for a secure environment. While, like any other place, unsafe areas may be present, they likely won’t be the first locations you visit during your time at Northeastern. On a personal note, I’ve wandered the city and arrived home at four in the morning, both without incident, so I can vouch for its safety.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are too many Indians getting enrolled in Northeastern, and the high living costs of Boston and Northeastern's fees make it extremely competitive for a student to get an on-campus job. The part-time work is almost always manageable with academics, and the average payout is $15–20/hr. The only caveat is that you need to find an on-campus job.

Good academics and facilities.
Tips: The academic style does require you to put in effort but the system is quite flexible and allows you to experiment. Projects are assigned based on your interests, and you will have numerous opportunities to show your skills. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive but the best thing is that I felt seen here.
Likes (Indian Food): The good thing about living here was the presence of Indian communities and the availability of various essentials, including food and groceries. The are a number of Indian restaurants and food joints and you will be able to fulfil any craving you might have.

The university is good but very competitive.
Tips: I did notice a few differences in my life here and back home especially academically. These range from small things such as you are encouraged to speak up have differing opinions and share them, as opposed to back in India. Food is plenty and there are Indian grocery stores that stock up on supplies for your cooking needs. Be ready for the competition.

My professional and academic experiences at Northeastern University Boston.
Tips: The transition for me was a drastically better one after coming to Northeastern. The overall environment, the facilities and the quality of education, I believe, are absolutely remarkable. I can see rapid improvement in myself, in terms of applying what I have learnt in work-based experience, and in terms of communication and team-building skills. No major cultural shift that I experienced, as I have previously been exposed to American culture. Although there are many scholarships available, I am yet to avail them, as many of them would be available hopefully after the third or the fourth semester. I am extremely satisfied with my university, course and country, as I believe that I am getting a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow every day, and the conducive environment I am in motivates me to keep the momentum going in my academic and professional life.
Likes (Student Life): My day in college is mostly spent on doing project discussions and assignments, I enjoy that I can interact with many people. I participate in the music team at Northeastern University, mostly involving Indian students. There are also events organised for music, dance, and art, and I try to go to one a month.
Dislikes (Part time work): The on-campus jobs are competitive to get, like library assistant, TAs, RAships, cashier and ticket manager roles. Though hectic, they're manageable with academics. Pay depends on the role - some are level 1, 2, 3, or 4 based pay as per responsibilities and roles.

Experiential learning experience at Northeastern University.
Tips: So, one cultural shock was how there were so many vegetarian Indians that are arriving here in Boston, M.A. and how there's not a lot of vegan/vegetarian options for folks at a lot of food chain especially McDonalds and Burger King - when it says Cheeseburger on the menu, it is not a vegetarian burger. A lot of vegetarian students learned it the hard way here. I, personally, don't mind it all, so it was fine with me. Along with that, there is a courtesy and politeness between passengers and pedestrians on the street and in public places. For instance, if someone is walking behind you and heading for a building entrance just like you, you always hold the door open as a sign of courtesy. When you cross the road, the car often gives you the right of way, stopping and allowing you to cross. Also, there's a huge focus on accessibility - space for wheelchair-bound residents, accessible ramps and buildings, which was pretty cool to see. As far as I know, NEU barely hands out scholarships for the MS Cybersec programme, but I've heard that they do give out scholarships for the Arlington Campus, so that's something to consider as well. Overall, academically and learning-wise, I'm very satisfied with the university. I've had a chance to study and work with some amazing professors and got to learn some amazing stuff from very hands-on courses in a pretty courteous country, so all in all, it was a wonderful experience.
Likes (Quality of faculty): So far, all the faculty I've had were super knowledgeable in their field and always welcome your queries and concerns with open arms. I've had faculty members who used to reply back in minutes over the discussion forum whenever I posted a concern, which made me feel like they really cared about our learning. The faculty members that I've had the privilege of learning from here have come from various ethnicities and backgrounds - I've had a professor who was American, another professor who was from Greece and a programme Director/Professor who came from Spain. Also, there are faculty members in the universities who are Chinese, African-American, Polish, etc. So I'd say it's a pretty diverse team of folks teaching students here. Not to mention, they really hone in on practical, hands-on learning over the conventional written-learning and memorisation approach. I had one foundation Cybersec course, which was all projects and lab assignments - no exam at all, which made it effortlessly fun and took the stress out of it too.
Dislikes (Indian Food): So, though some options and outlets serve Indian food, they are very pricey or don't taste the same as it was in India or lack authentic options. Hence, it's usually preferable to stick to local eateries which are Mexican Taqueria joints that serve bowls or burritos for 8$-10$ piece. Initially when I came here, I was relying on flatmates cooking stuff for me or eating outside as the academic loads and work barely had you willing to go through the process of finding shops for cheap groceries/rations, going there and buying it on a budget and then coming up with what to eat everyday and then prepare it. But eventually, I realised that it is a sure shot way to burn a hole in your pockets financially, especially after you've worked so hard to save from that internship/co-op here, so devising a budget to prepare easy and low-effort sustainable meals is a necessity that one must learn here.

Student life is amazing, with a lot of diversity, and everyone is quite welcoming, and supportive.
Tips: First off, don't book your accommodations before coming here. Instead, just book a temporary accommodation for two weeks. Then, physically go and visit all of the places you would like to stay. For NEU, make sure you are within two miles of the radius because you get a free ride home in the evenings every day. Don't stay in overcrowded apartments. Talk to current students and alumni to understand how things work around here. Also, keep in mind that international graduate students are not provided with any scholarships specifically for the College of Engineering.
Likes (Indian Food): Northeastern University has an abundance of food options. There are many restaurants in the Harvard Square area that offer a wide range of cuisines, with lots of choices for those who are into Indian food. But be prepared; the quality may not be the best, depending on the place you choose. If you come here, spend some time looking around and discovering what's available, and then find somewhere that suits you.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There are many companies which sponser H-1B visa but again there are also many which do not. Overall, the civic sense is very good, and if I get the opportunity, I would definitely like to become a permanent resident of this place. Student life is amazing, with a lot of diversity, and everyone is quite welcoming, communicative and supportive.

The programme offers a very thorough experience and extra credit work.
Tips: The programme offers a very thorough experience where we were allowed to drive into whatever we were studying. They also offer a lot of extra credit work, which you can take advantage of to maintain your GPA. Keep yourself engaged both inside and outside of the classroom to truly be a part of the Northeastern experience. It is also one of the few colleges that don't make submitting standardised test scores during admissions mandatory, but you will have to compensate via a beyond-impressive application with a significant number of projects and extracurriculars to stand a chance.

Tips: The media programs here are easily among the best, and my experience has been quite positive so far. The Indian Cultural Association helps ensure a feeling of familiarity and they make sure that a lot of our festivals are celebrated so you aren't feeling too away from home.
