MSc in Management - Batch of 2023
3.1
Great university, amazing campus, fun activities throughout the study year.
Tips: One would learn many things out of their comfort zone. Independent, relentless while you speak with people, learn to make new contacts. Good scholarships depend on one's credibility. Student life is a great experience but post student life is okay, just until you're coming for a good course.
Likes (Student Life): Great student life and friendly staff. We have social events and cultural events. Good support for assignments. An amazing campus where you can spend time and meet new people. Dance events, sports events, loads of activities and much more to explore around as well. Good student experience overall.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Rules changes have a lot on immigration. I would think thrice before deciding if I want to live here permanently or not. Job opportunities are declining apart from AI opportunities. If you are well experienced in any field, make sure your occupation ones under the skilled worker job code.

MSc(Res) in Cancer Medicine - Batch of 2026
4.1
Just keep exploring and everyday will be a new surprise.
Tips: Not everyone would talk to you. It doesn't mean that people here don't like you. Sometimes you could be mistaken for a racist mentality. But the people are quite in general. They are polite if you ask for help. But don't expect they will always be willing to talk. I don't mean to say there is 0 racism here. But their basic human nature and racist attitude are distinguishable. Eating out could be expensive. Make the right friends. Take time to cook your own food rather than buying a pack of tortillas. Home cooked meal hits different.
Likes (Value for money): I study at Patrick Johnson centre for Cancer Research. It's one of the most advanced centres and the Principal investigators get loads of funding for the project. This is really important if you are aspiring to work in research. The labs, the projects, the seminars, the modules, and the help you get to learn everything are 10/10.
Dislikes (Part time work): The college schedule of MRes Cancer Medicine is for 5 days a week 9 am to 5 pm. It becomes pretty tiring to go to work after college and work for at least 4-5 hours. Anyway, this experience is tough. But you get a good hang of this routine. Unknowingly, it is making you tough for your struggle.

Fun loving and supportive with great facilities, just like a Russell group university should be.
Tips: Students should know that the college is situated in Belfast, which is bit isolated from the rest of the UK. However, faculty members and support staff are excellent here. Lab facilities, classrooms are well managed. Usually, you get a scholarship which is between 4000 pounds to 6000 pounds depending on your course.

Diversity that becomes a family at QUB.
Tips: It's a great place to study after moving to Belfast; the people are very kind, and the nightlife is good. When you come to a new country, try to blend in and explore the culture. The university offers financial aid, but you might need to provide supporting documentation. A loan document could be helpful. It offers around 500. I am very satisfied with my time here.
Likes (Part time work): We have opportunities in the union with many roles, even off-campus; we have access to plenty of jobs. The kind and polite people create a nice working environment that is manageable with academics. I would suggest avoiding food chain jobs. On average, a student can earn £850 per month.
Dislikes (Internships): There are fewer internship opportunities in Belfast compared to the mainland. Since most courses start in September, many internship postings come out in October and November, which is when new students arrive and often miss out. Therefore, I would recommend starting your search as soon as you begin your course.

Good for PhD studies, but not recommended for a Master's degree.
Tips: It’s advisable to have prior work experience as there are no placement services or a dedicated placement year. Enrolling at the bachelor’s level is recommended as it can positively influence your mindset. This university primarily focuses on research and not industry oriented training, so manage your job expectations accordingly.
Likes (Student Life): The student union is excellent for relaxing. There’s a library for studying and group discussions, a large gym a swimming pool and other facilities. Belfast has a good nightlife with pubs. Be aware of junkies as they may try to start fights.
Dislikes (Internships): The university doesn’t offer internships unlike other courses. Moreover we struggle to secure external internships due to visa issues. Therefore applying for graduate roles and internships feels like a waste of time. I’m unsure what the future holds as they’ve also altered the course modules.

Perfectly designed university for students.
Tips: I love the culture here in Belfast. The people are amazing and friendly, both in Belfast and in other cities in Northern Ireland. I got a PGT scholarship with an early bird offer of 2000+1500 = 3500. After subtracting the scholarship amount, I paid the fee amount. I am very satisfied with the course, the country, and the university.
Likes (Part time work): I spend my day walking from the student accommodation to my university, which takes about 15-20 minutes. I love learning with my classmates, and the campus is amazing. The student union is a great place to hang out, socialize, and work. They have a piano and organize many events, including career fairs, festivals, and treasure hunts. There are also many clubs, including hiking, sports, equestrian, education, spiritual, and water sports clubs.
Dislikes (Internships): The faculty encourages and trains students to work on their part to understand and learn the subject by giving application-based assignments. All the faculty members are just an email away. They give their appointments to students in need and help to understand students' POV as well. The faculty are a mixture from different parts of the world with diversity from Europe, Asian, and the UK.

The curriculum is well defined and the faculty are very helpful.
Tips: One of the key reasons I joined this university is because it's the cheapest Russell Group university, and the cost of living in Belfast is comparatively low compared to other cities. Belfast is a small city, and the university has scholarship programs, but they won't affect you. The course structure is well-defined, and the professors are very helpful, but you will struggle to get marks from them. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Part time work): You can get part-time work both on and off campus especially around Christmas. It may be a bit of a struggle at first, but there are plenty of part-time options available, so don't stress about finding a job. If you budget wisely, you can cover most of your expenses and even save some money.
Dislikes (Value for money): As an international student from India the high tuition and living costs at Queen's University Belfast can be a financial burden. The scholarship you receive won't be enough to offset the cost of living especially for housing and accommodation.

MSc Marketing - Batch of 2025

Wonderful city and university of love in with multiple opportunities to take on.
Tips: There is going to be a cultural shift academically as well as in general. Coming from a small town I have seen a lot of cultural socks here in my first month. I received a scholarship of 6000 pounds from QUB. It was based on my SOP. I am very satisfied with all of these factors, the university is amazing, the people are very helpful and generous, and the course is on point with my preference. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course, country and university.
Likes (Part time work): Belfast is a comparatively small town but has a lot of part-time role opportunities across all domains. On-campus roles are pretty hard to accomplish as a lot of people apply for them at once. It sometimes gets hard to manage your day with part-time and lectures. It's right down to the minimum wage.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Due to competition from other applicants, it is pretty hard to land a job of your interest. However, if you start early at applying to internships and placement while semesters are running you can get an upper hand on them. LinkedIn is also a very nice tool to make new connections that will help you land a role. All kinds of marketing roles are available starting from approximately. 18000-30000 year.

This place will help you transform to a stronger version.
Tips: After joining the college there will be huge cultural shift and cultural shocks. Develop a mindset to embrace the culture open heartedly. There will be a scholarship depending on your merit and they deduct it from total fees. I am partially satisfied with university, course, and country. Because the course was not entirely taught as promised for non technical students and they expected us to learn by ourselves and complete the course. This was a huge blow to non technical students.
Likes (Part time work): There are plenty of part time jobs on campus and around the campus. It's hard to manage studies and jobs at the same time but increases time management skills. Basic pay for all jobs. You need to manage the time schedules for job and academic works. If you are unable to manage, there are support systems to help you complete academic work from university.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Due to change of rules, there is almost no chance of getting permanent settlement. An international student is given only a last priority. It is absolutely tough to compete with the native here for job hunting. If given a chance, I would definitely opt for permanent settlement.

A value for money university but the journey will be challenging.
Tips: Try to get to know about the weather. About the nearby places of university. Apply for all the scholarships which you are eligible for. Try to connect with your alumni. Acceptance of new changes both good and bad is a good skill to have. Be ready for challenges since life abroad is not what you see on social media.
Likes (Value for money): QUB offers high range of scholarships which makes the course fee more affordable and value for money. Fees compared to other universities in mainland UK, QUB offer very competitive and good fees. Also, payment options are flexible and offer more discounts if you pay in full in advance .
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): A permanent settlement takes 5 years in the UK. To reach that you need to find a sponsorship job which will help you to stay in for longer terms. Also rules by the UK home office change very often so bit uncertain to predict the future. But again not impossible to get a PR.

A course in QUB is a real time challenge and if you are really passionate about the subject.
Tips: I did get a real good experience out of my degree, not only academically but I did grow a lot in the real world understanding the job prospects and real-world skill set. I did get a scholarship based on my undergrad score in India at the time in 2020 but unsure today how the scholarships are awarded. I loved this large university in a small country.
Likes (Safety): Crime rate is the lowest and you feel safe to walk at any place even if it is dark and isolated in a remote area because the response rate for emergency services is really quick. I had an instance where police had to issue a fine to us as we broke a Covid house restriction but that's a pretty small fine though.
Dislikes (Indian Food): We don't find many Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani Restaurants in Belfast compared to other cities in the UK or Ireland as Northern Ireland has transportation challenges, I did cook mostly on my own. An average Indian dinner would cost an individual nearly 315-320.

The university offers many opportunities to grow.
Tips: Be ready to take on any opportunities that come. Be sure to study well, as it is not that hard to pass unless you put in the required effort. And also make sure to have fun too as the city has a lot of things to offer. The college also has a lot of programmes that are beneficial to students, so make sure to check them out.
Likes (Value for money): University has nice affiliation and the modules are relevant and well thought. All professors are well educated and helpful. The course also has a lot of assignments that are relevant to the job market and various subject expertise, but scoring in assignments also depends on the professor and his views.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): You have a chance to get PSW after you study for 2 more years. I wouldn't personally immigrate here but it does offer scope if you want to. Everything depends on the job you get, and the Visa sponsorship that your job might offer. It takes 5 years of sponsored visa to get permanent residence.

Leaving your comfort zone, yet finding comfort.
Tips: After taking admission in QUB, I haven’t had any problem and being in Belfast is the best kickstart for any student to start their new journey in the UK, as everything comes around to your budget. The professors interact with the students very well and they do not hesitate to clear the doubts. The college lectures are all offline but you do get study material online and research papers that help us in our assignment and exam preparation. There is a 3 floor library and a Riddel hall where you can do group study by booking the room. A graduate school is there as well which is beautiful and peaceful to study alone. The university has a sports centre including sports like private classes for yoga, aqua jogging, Pilates or dance, swimming, badminton, gym, rock climbing and much more. The university offers various clubs to join such as Tai Jutsu, badminton club, caving club, skydiving club, dance club for especially for south Asian students, etc. After completing the course, Queens has their app called ‘Simplicity’ where you can see which companies are hiring and there are graduate programs as well. Internships are also available which you can do only after you are done with your graduation, since it requires 40 hours of work every week and as a student, we are allowed only 20 hours. The Queen’s itself has cafes and student’s union where you can work part-time. QUB also comes under the Russell Group which is great for your CV. As a student, everyone faces some or the other problem, but you have professors to give you advice and the university also offers support for the student’s well-being. I realize that I took the right decision to choose QUB and I would recommend it to others as well but also, an honest suggestion would be getting into QUB in the September intake is preferable than the January intake.

Likes (Safety): Safety depends on the area of residence and the area of travel. I was fortunate to live in student accommodation at ulster University and Queen's University during my course but in the last two months, I will be shifting outside the campus accommodation.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): In my second semester almost there were two months of academic strike that caused concern but later was resolved. Not all faculties are full time working so you have to take appointments. The online library & extra activities help for academic and job purposes.

Best postgraduate experience at this university.
Tips: Get ready to take up academics seriously with the programs offered to be research intensive in terms of assignments and exams. Engaging in several university clubs and events will provide ample exposure to leadership and is also fun. Learn a thing or two about Irish culture.
Likes (Internships): Belfast is a booming city with a lot of upcoming business opportunities. Local companies hire interns and part time employees. Plenty of summer internships are available with decent pay. Regular effort in applying for internships is required to reach out to employers but the hiring process is fair and square.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are limited options for Indian cuisine and can often be pricey. Having local food is quite feasible. Good university, very cheap living cost and good for IT students
Tips: The university is very friendly with people and you can have many different clubs to join. From all other universities in UK, this is the cheapest with living rates. There is a variety of different food options however the city isn't as lively as London or Dublin so just make sure you know it'll get a bit quiet at times.
Likes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants around here, like at least 4 at minimum. You can easily order food from delivery or visit them. Also, there are pretty decent Indian shops around where you can buy all the items from India, all original. They're pretty good and you can find almost anything you need.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time work personally for me has been a bit hard to find but others around me have gotten part-time work pretty easily. I tried applying for part-time jobs in restaurants and other jobs such as receptionist but I never got a response back from anywhere.

Queens college is good for cyber security course
Tips: As it is a cybersecurity degree, knowledge of ethical hacking or industry experience will help a lot to grasp the study material. While doing the degree, you can also pursue certificates like Splunk, CEH, CompTIA etc as they will help you in the recruitment process.
Likes (Safety): When we joined the course, the structure of the classes was okay. In a month, the first week was reading week, the next was the classes, and the exam was on the last day. The third and fourth week was reserved for the coursework. After our batch, the structure was changed which made the course more efficient. You have to help yourself and study very hard as the exam pattern is very different from that of India.
Dislikes (Value for money): The faculty had a lot of credibilities. They helped us whenever we had any doubts. The course content was also good and explained thoroughly. To study in NEOMA, French communication is a must.
Tips: Learn French before coming, it's not about the level, it's that you should be able to communicate. Apply for Crous accommodation in May. And the Crous canteen scholarship ASAP after arrival. Apply for the scholarships that are mentioned on the Campus France website. Make use of the free groceries for student organisations like Coop, Rest de course, spirits, etc.
Likes (Safety): City is safe as long as you do not enter the river side areas especially at night time. I have heard students getting robbed and are pushed into the river if they deny to give them the money. Be careful and be on alert all times if you go out. It can get risky.

Great global exposure for students.
Tips: It was initially challenging but I made a great group of friends which made things easier. The only cultural adjustment I faced was the language. I recommend that all students coming to France learn French to at least a B1 level. I applied late so the only scholarship I received was the Excellence Scholarship of 4000 euros from NEOMA but there are many other government scholarships available, such as the Eiffel Scholarship. I am content with how things turned out; there were ups and downs but that's part of the journey. Lastly I would advise students coming to France to study to keep an open mind and enjoy the process.
Likes (Student Life): A typical day in college started with classes in bright, comfortable classrooms that made learning enjoyable. One of my favourite things about the campus was how green and open it was. Between lectures, I loved walking through the forested area, which was peaceful and refreshing. Since the college was located on a hill, there was also a scenic spot nearby with a stunning view of the town below. Spending time there, especially during sunsets, was one of my favourite ways to relax. The campus had lively events, like spring, autumn, winter, Valentine's Day, music, Earth Day, club selections, and promotion events; I attended almost all of them. We also celebrated Indian festivals. There were communities for almost everything, including dance, music, sports, photography, charity, Honeybee, and food.
Dislikes (Indian Food): International food options, including Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, French, Moroccan, Japanese, and Korean cuisine, are readily available. Prices typically range from 10 to 20 euros, depending on your spending. I cook more often as a vegetarian, as it's cheaper, but Paris offers a wider variety of vegetarian options.

A great learning experience with real-world challenges.
Tips: The school has a strong reputation in France and Europe, especially for business and management. Classes are quite practical with a lot of group projects and case studies. So be ready for teamwork. Career Services are very active, but internships and jobs usually require at least conversational French. If you don't already speak it I'd recommend starting before you arrive. Cost of living in cities like Rouen or Reims is lower than in Paris, but you still expect 800-1,000 per month for rent food and transport. Coming here was definitely an adjustment. The teaching style is different; professors expect you to participate actively and manage projects independently. The cultural shift was real too French people value their work life balance, lunch breaks are sacred, and everything movies a little lower than what I was used to. At first, the language barrier made day-to-day things like shopping, paperwork or even ordering food tricky, but over time, I adapted. It also pushed me to learn French faster. Scholarships. NEOMA does offer merit-based scholarships. In my case, I applied during admission and got a partial tuition fee waiver based on my academic background. The allowance varies, but it usually reduces a portion of your tuition instead of giving you monthly cash. It helped me cut down the overall cost, but you still need to budget for living expenses.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): France does give international students a fair pathway to stay back if they want to. After finishing studies, you can usually apply for a job seeker or temporary residence permit to look for work, and once you land a full-time contract, you can move towards longer-term visas. Over time, this can lead to permanent residence if you stay around and meet the requirements. It depends on getting a good job preferably in a sector that's in demand, and being comfortable with the French language. Without French, the options narrow down a lot. With French, your chances improve significantly. Personally, I would consider it if I find the right job and settle into the culture. France has good work-life balance, healthcare and social security benefits. That said, it's not super easy. Bureaucracy and language are big hurdles. But if the career opportunities line up I'd definitely think about staying.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus part time jobs are quite limited. Some positions like library assistant or research support may be available these are rare and generally given to students fluent in both French and English. Many students report that there are practically no consistent on campus roles. International students in France are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. Career services and talent and career development office provides useful guidance job postings and networking opportunities which help students find off campus work in retail hospitality events tutoring or administrative support. That said the biggest deciding factor is French language ability. Students with conversational French find it much easier to secure jobs, while those without it may struggle. Most students agree that part time work is manageable alongside academics if planned well. The programs are intensive but there is enough flexibility for motivated students to dedicated a few hours a week to work. Students who can manage their time effectively and especially those who are bilingual tend to balance both without much difficulty. The typical hourly wage for part time jobs ranges between 10 to 15 with an average of about 12.50 per hour. At the maximum permitted 20 hours per week students can earn up to around 1,000 per month. This can help cover day to day expenses though it may not be enough to cover tuition or major living cost entirely.

Peaceful and adaptable but need personal efforts.
Tips: It's very easy to adjust, very peaceful. I did not get any scholarships, but some students did. It depends on the students - when they apply and how they perform in the interview. I am satisfied with the University and the country, but I felt I didn't learn much in the course; it depends on personal skills.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is convenient and affordable for students. On Saturdays in Rouen, transportation is free, as it is during festivals. Students can also rent bikes for 12 to 14 euros per month through the "My Astuce" network. For students under 26, the transport card costs 20 euros per month.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finding part-time work in Rouen is difficult. If you manage to secure a position, a basic knowledge of French (B1 level) is required. The minimum wage is around 9 to 11 euros, and it's challenging to balance this with daily classes and academic requirements.

The city isn't very touristy, so part-time jobs are mainly for French speakers.
Tips: Networking is crucial for internships; prepare to submit 200-300 applications. Consider the Paris campus for a better city life, as the current location is a disadvantage. Also, be aware that this is a business school, so don't expect a typical university experience.
Likes (Value for money): NEOMA is ranked 7th in French business school rankings. Compared to other schools in a similar ranking, 5th-10th, it's the most affordable for both the MIM and M.Sc. programs. The Rouen campus, located in Mont-Saint-Aignan, is also quite affordable, and scholarships of 50/100% of tuition fees are available for those with a solid profile.
Dislikes (Part time work): The city isn't very touristy, so part-time jobs are mainly for French speakers. Unless you have at least a B1 level of French, finding a part-time job will be difficult. Some people manage to get cleaning jobs in hotels, but these are very rare, and you need to be lucky. The average pay is 10-12 EUR per hour.

Commercial and quite expensive. Public universities offer more diversity.
Tips: It's quite expensive; however, you can find more affordable colleges in France. You can find part-time work there to help pay for your college fees, which can lead to a debt-free life and allow you to focus on your career. Even so, many people find it best to stay in India, learn a relevant course, and pursue opportunities there.
Likes (Safety): Police are readily available, and you can contact them quickly. They are very helpful, even if you don't speak French. Just be sure to follow the rules.
Dislikes (Part time work): You need to speak fluent French; people won't accept you otherwise. In France, if you speak English, they may feel insecure or offended, as they dislike American and English men. So, knowing French is a basic rule. If you know French, you can make the most of it compared to other English-speaking countries.

Had the best time meeting new people, networking and improving my French.
Tips: It was relatively easy for me because I had a background of being surrounded by people from different countries. I also knew about the country in general through a close online friend long before coming to France, which gave me conversation starters on various topics like history, food, culture, different French cities, and even some politics. Being open-minded, kind, and curious is key to building relationships in a multicultural environment like NEOMA. I received a scholarship of 3,500 euros from NEOMA as part of their excellence program. Overall, I had a great experience at the university; in my first year, I met the best people, and the following year, I focused on strengthening professional connections, including with professors.
Likes (Student Life): Met amazing people from all over the world, mostly from Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Eastern Europe, South America, the USA, Mexico, and East Asian countries like China, Singapore, and Korea. They mostly came for an Erasmus exchange, and I had the best time experiencing cultural exchange and forming great friendships. I got a chance to work on group projects with people from all over, and some classes were very interactive, using innovative and immersive teaching methods. NEOMA taught me the power of networking, thanks to which I landed an amazing internship. I mostly went to Cultural Co. parties organised by a student association. I was also a part of Digital and Teach, AIESEC in Rouen, and I was the program representative for my M.Sc.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are very limited options for Indian food, and what exists is expensive and not authentic. Some options do exist, though they are limited and not great. I mostly prefer cooking Indian food myself because of the cost, authentic recipes, and ingredients.

There is always a language barrier; you need a minimum B2 level of French for part-time jobs.
Tips: The university is very welcoming to students from all cultural backgrounds worldwide. There are many clubs and student organisations. I didn't receive any scholarships. I would give the university a 10/10 for the course syllabus; the faculty are extremely knowledgeable. When considering the country, you definitely need to learn French; otherwise, it will be very difficult to survive.
Likes (Safety): The city is very safe; there is little theft or robbery, unlike in Paris. Women can walk around safely at night in Reims. On campus, security checks every student's bag, and there are cameras throughout. There's also a night transportation service you can book for added safety.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is always a language barrier; you need a minimum B2 level of French for part-time jobs in Reims. Unlike Paris, there are no English-speaking jobs available, so if you can't communicate properly in French, it will be very difficult to find part-time work.

There are limited part-time opportunities in this small, French-speaking town.
Tips: It's a fun place with lots of clubs and parties. The exams aren't as stressful as in India. There's a lot of time to engage in other activities and join clubs. If you have over 70% in your previous degree, you can apply for scholarships. The country is peaceful, as are the people in Reims. The countryside is very charming.
Likes (Student Life): There are no full-time classes, except for a few days a week. The faculty is relaxed and there are many clubs, including sports, arts, music, and student unions, among others. Examples include BDI, Genius, BDA, BDS and more. There are also workshops for women's self-defence animal shelter clubs, a crypto trading club, startup support for aspiring entrepreneurs, a finance geeks lab and other clubs.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are limited part-time opportunities in this small, French-speaking town making it difficult to find employment. However if you are fluent in French you can increase your chances. If you manage to find a part-time position, it's feasible to balance work and academics due to the flexible schedule classes can be in the evenings, mornings or even at night. There are only 3-4 months of classes with breaks in between so securing a part-time job could be beneficial.

The best experience, and the French visa allows for travel throughout Europe.
Tips: The college has a good reputation, and with students from diverse countries, Indian students are well-mannered and maintain decorum. Cultural diversity will help you adapt to the college lifestyle more. Engaging in activities and interaction should be a student's key goal.
Likes (Safety): The city is fully safe and well-connected with public transportation; you can roam the entire city with a very affordable student card. Cars and traffic rules should be maintained properly. A fine of 15 euros will be charged for violating transport rules, as I found out when I forgot to recharge mine.
Dislikes (Part time work): French is essential for part-time jobs, making it difficult to find them in Reims. Even if you manage to get one, the chances for Indians are slim. The minimum part-time wage is 600 euros per month, but expenses are significantly higher. Managing visa and related procedures is challenging, so prepare well in advance.

Amazing culture, excellent transportation facilities and great faculty.
Tips: France has an amazing culture, and Indians will certainly appreciate it. You'll find people from all over the world here. Neoma offers scholarships, including an early bird scholarship worth around 1000 euros. I am very satisfied with the institution, and they have an excellent faculty.
Likes (Public transportation): The country offers excellent public transportation with a student monthly pass for 20 euros, allowing easy city access. A nearby high-speed rail network also means many students commute from Paris to Reims.
Dislikes (Part time work): Most shops prefer French speakers, but Paris has many part-time opportunities due to Indian stores and English-speaking customers. Reims, however, is more difficult. The working hours are reasonable considering the course load.

The university is average but the international help departments are proactive and helpful.
Tips: There are scholarships available in France that you can apply for. Check the ratings of the specific college and the program you are interested in, as recruiters in France pay a lot of attention to rankings. You can get housing assistance (CAF) from the government, up to 200 euros, depending on the type of accommodation and sharing capacity. I received around 100 euros per month. NEOMA is a university that focuses on enrolling many students and doesn't seem to prioritise the quality of education. There are professors here who don't seem to know how to teach. However, the internship and international help departments are proactive and helpful. While the rankings of MIM and other programs are higher, the overall college ranking is declining.
Likes (Public transportation): It's well-connected by tram and bus. However, the bus service has intervals of 10-13 minutes, which can be tiresome to wait for. The tram system is good and runs every 5 minutes. The transport system is very cheap compared to Paris. You get access to the entire system for 30 euros per month. Individual hourly tickets cost 2 euros each. These are special student prices, and the application process is very easy. You can get a physical or online card, as you prefer.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I would like to immigrate here because the standard of living is higher, but without French language skills, it's very difficult to survive. The French culture is not very accepting of English speakers. They don't have any issues with someone's race, religion, or nationality; they simply want people to communicate and work in French without needing to speak English.

Living in a non-English speaking country can make it challenging to find part-time work.
Tips: Of course there is a big cultural shift, but it's okay; we can gradually adapt to it. I secured a scholarship. Since it is always cold here people tend to smoke a lot trust me. Not many people speak English so be prepared.
Likes (Safety): As far as I know, things are generally safe. However I know of one incident where my friend was walking on the street and someone snatched his gold chain from behind without him noticing. In my opinion, there are some clever thieves here so it's important to be careful.
Dislikes (Part time work): Being in a non English speaking country makes it quite difficult to find part time work. However, if you're fluent in the local language, things become much easier. The average pay is around 10 euros per hour. While it's possible to find part-time work with effort it does require a significant time investment.

Decent university with helpful and understanding faculty.
Tips: The transition was very smooth, but it's advisable to learn French and come at least to the A1 level so you don't face difficulty while communicating. If you have any questions, you can email the faculty or schedule an appointment, and they will be happy to assist you. They ask us to do lots of case studies or presentations so that we understand concepts in depth and are ready to face real-world scenarios. Most of the faculty members are international and industry experts. There are no part-time jobs available on campus. I have not availed of any scholarships. You have to check with your class schedule. A legal permit allows you to work 20 hours per week. You can also work off-campus, but you need to get a French SSN before you can work. Neoma Business School provides us with more adventures and enthusiasm.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should know that the French language is mandatory to get a job. Also, students should do good market research in the specifications they're going to do their masters degree in. For students with good experience, a one-year masters degree is a good option.
Likes (Public transportation): When it comes to public transportation, buses run on time and there are direct buses from the city to campus. Students can travel and reach their destination on time, and the fares are economical. If you want to go to Paris, trains and buses are available, and student discounts apply.
Dislikes (Part time work): The campus in Rouen City has very few part-time job opportunities. Also, employers prefer French speakers, and learning French takes time.
