Masters in Data Science, Statistics and Decision Analysis - Batch of 2026

Course is not amazing, easy going and relaxed. Stockholm is an amazing city to live in overall.
Tips: The transition was comfortable; everyone speaks English in the city. Was helpful. Little scope of scholarships. Satisfaction about the course is average, but I'm in love with the country and the university. In general, university fees are lower compared to other universities and have similar facilities as compared to other universities.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is wonderful. Lots of student activities, orientations, benefits, and insurance. In college, we have about 4 hours of classes. In the rest of your time, you can bask in the sun outdoors, play sports in college facilities, or go to nearby cafes on campus. Events organized include parties, trips, treks, sports, etc. All kinds of student clubs are available for us to join.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality of faculty is great, but theoretical stimulation is lacking in studies. Faculty is approachable and accessible. Lots of lab work that is useful on the industry level. We have lots of European and Asian teaching faculty. Some Latin American PhD students and teachers as well.

Good education, only if you can afford it.
Tips: Sweden has very good universities with high rankings, student life is hill, it attracts students from all over the world. It would be a pleasant transition for any Indian student. People are nice and speak English . I didn't got any scholarship. I am satisfied with my education but for job prospects it's bit tougher. But tuition feels here lower than USA, Canada or UK. So you can consider it.
Likes (Indian Food): As an Indian, you can find Indian stores and vegetarian food in Stockholm. You won't have a hard time with food options. Eating outside would be expensive for students. So everyone just usually cooks by themselves. Normal price for 1 meal if you want to eat out: 60-150 SEK.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): In Sweden there are limited opportunities for a fresh graduate to find a job. There are language constraints. And there is a high unemployment rate. And every year work permit rules are getting stricter. But still if you have some experience in a particular field you might end up getting a job. Starting salaries for graduates are 35-40 K SEK.

Enriching Study Experience with Strong Academic's & Growth
Tips: Students must research every detail before choosing a university to align with their life goals. The transition to UK student life was a great experience with excellent academic and cultural exposure. Overall, I am very satisfied with my course and university.
Likes (Quality of faculty): They easily deserve 5 stars because of their approachable nature and their diverse experiences. What makes them stand out is their ability to use case studies and practical knowledge to explain theoretical concepts.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Given the chance, I'd like to settled in the UK for its opportunities. However, tightened immigration rules, higher salary threshold's, and a raising cost of the living make long-term settlement difficult and highly competitive without strong employers sponsorship.

University is really good and its in central location.
, so easy to commute to the location .
Tips: I don't feel that much of a cultural shift, it was easygoing. I got an international scholarship of u00a33000 during the 2023 intake. I love the course, and they don't place much emphasis on practical for job related things. I will say the university is average, but it all depends on your experience.

Amazing, liberal, friendly and fun loving.
Tips: Ravensbourne University is a great university when it comes to study, joy, and a friendly environment. Ravensbourne University offers great scholarship programs to international students. Being an international student here, I can say it is totally worth every penny. The faculty is highly knowledgeable, approachable and supportive. The teaching is research-oriented and application-based, interacting practical learning, case studies, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

I wouldn't personally recommend this university for a postgraduate degree.
Tips: The offerings and student support could be improved. However, I thoroughly studied the university and the country before applying, which allowed me to get a scholarship of 40,000. Unfortunately, it was subsequently reduced. The country itself is good, but I feel I should have selected a more specialized program. I am not very satisfied with my university experience so far.
Likes (Safety): The campus has strong security measures including camera surveillance well lit streetlights, security patrols and the visible presence of the police. There is also a sense of community that makes the neighborhood around campus feel safe. The campus is also very close to a station.
Dislikes (Internships): Some internships required at least two years of experience and most companies preferred British passport holders. Unfortunately, the university's career guidance is severely lacking and there's a distinct impression that they're not equipped to properly support international studies.

My positive learning experience at Ravensbourne university London
Tips: My experience at Ravensbourne University London was quite interesting. There is a learning environment that involves both practical and theoretical aspects in the university. At first it was quite difficult for me to fit into this new educational system, but eventually I was able to do so. I enjoyed meeting people from different walks of life and developing new skills.
Likes (Indian Food): When it comes to food cooked by myself, there is a lot of options available ranging from Asian food to Indian food and much more. The prices fluctuate greatly and they can be very costly if I go to a restaurant because the price range will be from 8 to 15 pounds and even higher. When it comes to me personally, I like cooking my own food because it is healthy and cheaper but at times I enjoy eating outside with my friends.
Dislikes (Internships): It’s hard, we need to keep applying through LinkedIn (which we need to make it strong) from the very beginning. It’s important to build a strong LinkedIn profile from the very beginning of the course. I feel that more guidance and support from the university would make finding relevant internships easier.
