Master of Science in Environmental Natural Sciences - Batch of 2021
4.2
World-class research in a quiet, student-friendly city.
Tips: Coming from India, the biggest cultural shift is the quiet and orderly nature of the city. The research-environment is English friendly, but German is essential for a good daily life and to make new friends. PhD positions are typically funded by employment contracts rather than scholarships. The salary is generous relative to the average monthly cost of living and there's even room to save some money. I was highly satisfied with the research infrastructure and academic rigour at the Institute. You have a lot of collaborations with other research institutes and get exposed to high-quality cutting-edge research. The city is also very safe and affordable. Although the city is on the smaller side, it is well connected to all big cities via high-speed trains and close to Hannover International Airport.
Likes (Public transportation): You'll get a semester ticket from the university which allows you to take all the buses, trams and metro for free in your city/town. All the local trains/regional trains in the state are also available to the students for free. The public transportation is very safe, has good frequency and some lines also operate at night.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Most of the restaurants are going to focus on the European palate so the food might be bland. Vegetarian options at some of the restaurants are quite limited. There are a few completely vegetarian and vegan restaurants which can be good options for Indian vegetarians.

MS in Quantum Technologies in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.2
It’s a good college. Very friendly professors. Elevated levels in the quality of education.
Tips: Students should know exactly what they want to study and where they want to pursue their career which field they want to get into. Have clear communication with professors and do part time or internships.
Likes (Public transportation): It’s good. Free transportation for students because it comes under a semester ticket so with that we can travel throughout Germany with normal trains and buses. The campus is widespread, we can reach to the classes within 15-20 mins from the student dorm.
Dislikes (Student Life): Excellent quality of education and excellent professionalism by professors and staff, we get many opportunities to work under professors whom we desired to work with. And the university comes under the TU9 band which is equivalent to IITs in India with added advantages of an abroad life and cultural diversity groups.

Master of Science in Computational science in engineering - Batch of 2025
4.6
Student life is fun and diverse.
Tips: Just graduating from this college won't be enough do at least 2-3 internships to land a job in the industry. Don't hurry to finish the course. If you want to stay in academia, Ph.D. courses are quite research oriented and can lead you there. There are several scholarship programmes like DAAD and Niedersachsen stipendum.
Likes (Value for money): There were no tuition fees so I am pretty satisfied with the course. It was quite research oriented course and getting an Internship in machine learning or the FEM side is relatively easier. Then it's up to a person how well they perform to get the chance for full time.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I would say post study job offers in the industry are quite less, given the market situation but research associate positions and startup positions are available with a salary package of 55000 euros. If you want to go to good paying industrial job, see how they are doing in the market and then join an internship so that you can get a conversion.

Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology
4.2
Learning journey to a successful career.
Tips: Interest and self determination is a key to success at KTH. I did not receive a scholarship in both years 1 and 2. There are a few scholarships mainly merit based on year 1&2. The university and my course are the best; I have learned a lot both in academics and as a person.
Likes (Public transportation): One ticket for the whole of Stockholm. Easily commutable with many possible means of transport for one destination. Student ticket 650kr/ month. There are different modes of transport like buses, ferries, trams and metros. The KTH Main campus has the best connectivity with all modes.
Dislikes (Part time work): The on campus part time jobs are mainly teaching assistant and research assistant. There are not a lot of opportunities for non-Swedish speakers. But the jobs pay well and cover the expenses. The average pay is 120kr/hr, and there are part time jobs available outside the college campus too.

Master of Science in Production Engineering and Management - Batch of 2026
Offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology
4.2
Technicalities, invention and innovation.
Tips: Before planning to join this university you should have better grades in your Bachelors as getting into KTH is not as easy as it is one of the top technical universities in the world. We have to change ourselves after our arrival here especially in terms of food, culture and lifestyle. Getting a scholarship is a stuffed thing here. If any incidents happen inside the campus they will be covered by the insurance provided by the university. If anything happens outside then you should be covered with insurance before your arrival. Transportation is available for 24 hours so you can travel even during nights without any hesitation as the cameras are installed in the vehicles. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my choice of choosing KTH as my destination for my master's.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Even though many Indian restaurants are available they are too costly when compared to Swedish restaurants. You should learn a few things to cook as it will be fun and make you feel at home at least as I say. A lot of stores are available so, there won't be a problem with spices, snacks, and other groceries.

MSc Smart Electrical Networks and Systems (EIT InnoEnergy) - Batch of 2022
Offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology
4.2
The best university for electrical engineering and amazing professors with industry knowledge.
Tips: Before joining this college students should be well prepared in the basics and familiar with tools like Matlab. They should also be good at Python as they will be required to complete assignments using Python and Matlab. In addition, students should be proficient in data analytics and presentation, as well as have good report-writing skills. The professors at this university were world-class and had written many books. The coursework was challenging and required a lot of critical thinking. The PhD program had a lot of high-quality output. Sometimes you could work on projects with PhD students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There is only one canteen on campus and it is located in the library. It offers a limited selection of food. There is a Taiwanese restaurant across the street from the university but it is expensive. Fortunately you can cook your own meals in the kitchen in your room and pack a lunch.

3.9
Sustainability and Innovation are at the core of KTH Royal Institute.
Tips: It's a beautiful city, the English language is spoken here in contrast to other European countries. There is more system based approach to teaching rather than pure science. Very accommodating for international students, a great platform for meeting people and pushing innovations. However, weather, the cold, and short/ long days can be very difficult to adjust to initially.

MSc Smart Electrical Networks and Systems (EIT InnoEnergy) - Batch of 2022
Offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology
3.9
Marvelous research based university.
Tips: Students should know that the knowledge level transition is very significant. There are no scholarships. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the university course but the director's reach is very slow and sometimes not guiding well and it is very casual especially since the MSc SENSE course planning was not that good but the courses are very good with the professor's knowledge.
Likes (Safety): I felt safe on campus because everything was well organized, and there was support from student organizations. Sweden is a good country that is well-developed. However, the university did not provide any dedicated safety guides, assuming that students could handle themselves.
Dislikes (Internships): Sometimes it is very difficult to find internships and no guidance is given for the internships. There are no webinars regarding the internships. We need to search for internships. Sometimes professors can be impressed and can get the opportunity.
