Great learning experience with strong academics.
Tips: Students should know that UCD offers high-quality academics, great faculty and a vibrant campus life but it is also a very independent environment. You're expected to manage your own deadline, keep up with reading and be proactive about internships, part-time work and networking. The workload can feel heavy at times but the resources, societies and student support services make it manageable if you stay organised. The transition was smooth overall, but there was definitely a cultural shift. Ireland is very welcoming and diverse but the academic style is more self directed and discussion based compared to what I was used to. There's a strong emphasis on critical thinking, participation and independent work. Socially, people are friendly, informal and open, which helped me settle in quickly. I received a Global Scholarship of 3,000. I got it based on my academic profile during the application process. The scholarship amount was applied as an education to my tuition fee which helped ease the financial burden. UCD offers several merit based and programme specific scholarships, so it's worth applying early and submitting a strong application. The course is well structured and industry-relevant, the faculty is supportive and the campus environment is vibrant with plenty of opportunities to grow. Ireland itself is safe student friendly and culturally warm. Some aspects could be challenging, the coursework can be intense part-time job opportunities are limited and finding internships relevant to your field often requires extra effort.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated it 5 because UCD is extremely well connected to the rest of Dublin, and public transport makes computing simple, reliable, and affordable. UCD has one of the strongest transport link among Irish campuses. There are multiple bus routes that stop directly at the campus gate and the internal stop, so getting to the city centre or nearby areas is very straightforward. Buses run frequently throughout the day and even late evening are well covered.
Dislikes (Internships): UCD does provide some support the process is quite self-driven and finding relevant internships especially for international students can be challenging and competitive. UCD has resources like the Careers Network, CV reviews, workshops and job portals but the guidance is mostly general rather than personalised. Students still have to search, network and apply on their own. The support helps you prepare but it does not guarantee internship placements. You need to be proactive, keep checking listings and apply to many roles independent.

Amazing faculty and good learning environment.
Tips: They should know how to manage part time jobs and academics.
I got a scholarship that waived off my tuition fees to some extent but the living costs in Ireland are too much at this point.
I am very grateful for the opportunity that I got. It was challenging but I really enjoyed my degree.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculties are just amazing, easy to approach and they are experienced and help you out in every possible way.
There are a few Indian faculties as well here but all this doesn’t matter. They all treat you equally and help you with everything whether you miss your exam or any assignments.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are Indian restaurants but they are quite expensive for a student to afford that 1-2 times a week.
I usually used to cook and rarely ate outside which helped me save a lot of money. It takes a lot of your time so for that you can meal prep.
Ireland is quite expensive in comparison to other countries.

One of the best research oriented universities in EU.
Tips: Students should be aware of the content of the course and the job opportunities in the EU post studying the course. The fee is high compared to the colleges in Ireland, but scholarships like the Global Excellence Scholarship and institutional fee waiver are available for international students from India.
Likes (Value for money): The course is of the best quality and aligns with the career path post study. The university offers many facilities including such as a free gym and accommodation support. The campus is very large and it is situated in a place with 24hrs bus connectivity to Dublin city.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job roles in Ireland are in decline. UCD doesn't provide placement drives, but it holds a career fair for graduate roles where mostly EU residents are selected and not so good for students with prior experience. Even though the course offers career oriented learning, the lack of direct placement is often a drawback.

Good environment and good experience.
Tips: Communication plays a vital role here. The ability to adapt to the weather and food blending with the people from different backgrounds. There is no scholarship for my course. I'm satisfied with the syllabus but felt the teaching is fast as it is a one year course.
Likes (Student Life): International exposure and campus life are good. There are so many clubs in the college that conduct events regularly which allow students to get exposure and learn from peers. Mostly my time would be spent in classes and projects and the frequency of attending club events is rare for me since I'm occupied with academic work.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Many companies across different sectors offer employment sponsorship. Referral works here to enter the industry. Not sure for the freshers. People with a minimum of two years of relatively experience can break into graduation roles before graduation. Getting an internship is also great for breaking into the sector.

It was an average experience.
Tips: There are some cultural differences. I was basically not very satisfied with the country and everything. I think going abroad to study is quite a boring job and I will move back to my country and live with my family, that's the best feeling for me. I will stay here for 2 years and then start applying in India and move back. I want my mental status to be much better. For me, money doesn't matter; mental status matters and with my family, I will get that rest I know with my experience combined, I can easily earn 1 Lacs in India per month and I am very happy with that.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport, unless you're a student, it's good with comfortable seating but when your student card is gone, it's a bit expensive. But the seating is very good. The problem is that the bus is not full 24 hours. If you're doing night shift, then it's very hard to commute.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have finished my course and am still applying for a job and I don't think I will get a sponsorship. It's very hard to find a sponsorship job unless you have 3-4 years of experience. I would say now it is very hard to even find a part-time job.

I liked my course a lot and I would recommend it to people looking to pursue marketing.
Tips: No scholarships for me in UCD but I got scholarships in UCC, University of Galway and Maynooth.
It takes time to get a full time job, you need to have patience and perseverance to get 1 and it’s better to come with some corporate experience minimum of 2 years, to be able to get a job.
Likes (Part time work): There are loads of part time opportunities, you just need to keep trying by making different CV’s. It is not very difficult to manage as you don’t have college every day as a master's student and you are just allowed to work 20 hours weekly. The average payout is about 13.5 euros per hour.
Dislikes (Internships): There’s guidance available everywhere but you have to work very hard to get an internship. It’s not a piece of cake. If you get an internship then it is obviously related to the field of study or something you are interested in otherwise why would you apply for it.

A vibrant learning experience at UCD.
Tips: The transition was smooth, people in Ireland are friendly, well, some are. The main and most important thing here is the weather, which is not suitable at all, it rains anytime, it's sunny sometimes, and it gets really cold at times. I didn't get any scholarship, but people do get it. It depends on their background and experience, and the course they are pursuing as well. To be honest, the Belfield campus is the best.
Likes (Public transportation): There are 3 modes of transport D-ART bus, and Luas. Every part is connected, but there is a lot of walking everywhere, and the buses are quite delayed as well sometimes. The transport is convenient and affordable if you have a Leap Card with you, it's 1 euro for 90 minutes for any travel.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are all the types of restaurants nearby, I stay in Dublin 1 in a student accommodation, there's Thai, Asian, Italian and mainly local bars where you can get a good pizza and a pint.
100 percent it's cooking your own food as it gets really expensive eating out, on average it's 20 euros per person to go and eat something outside.

UCD is a great college for Masters and UnderGrad programs. One of the top Universities in Ireland.
Tips: The university is very welcoming. It was super easy to settle in. Professors are warm and welcoming and encourage participation which breaks the ice at the get go. They have great societies, which let you make friends with similar interests easily. A lot of international students come in each year, so that helps a lot with mingling and finding people.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Though the economy and job market are tough at the moment - like it is globally, the same is the case in Ireland also. That being said, the country and its facilities and the people are super warm and make a great place to settle down. And it's the European country that is the easiest to get a PR in.
Dislikes (Value for money): More exposure to real life case studies would have been even better, however great experience and definitely worth the money. And we expected more career fairs aimed only at postgraduate, but that wasn't there. But we were provided career support throughout the year.

On-campus paid part-time jobs are very limited and competitive.
Tips: There will be a significant cultural shift for those coming from India; from the weather to the people and food, everything is quite different and new in a positive way. UCD offers numerous scholarships, and students can apply through the online portals; I know many students who got them.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Public transportation in Dublin is good, with numerous buses serving the campus. A nearby D-ART station also makes the long commute easier for students. The campus is well-connected, and students can obtain a student Leap card valid for all public transport, costing just 1 euro for a single journey.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus paid part-time jobs are very limited and competitive. Most students, around 90% find jobs off-campus in retail, grocery stores, schools, etc. With this course, a 20-hour part-time job is manageable, with an average payout ranging from 12e to 15e.

The college offers a perfect mix of academics and community.
Tips: Students should know that the college offers strong academic support and faculty members. So being open to participation really enhances the experiences. My transition here involved adapting to their teaching methods and independent learning. I feel satisfied with the university and the programme I chose.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The college offers a perfect mix of academics and community. A typical day involves classes, discussion and then relaxing with friends in the library. What I enjoy most is the friendly multicultural environment where you meet people from different parts of the world.
Dislikes (Value for money): The faculty blend academic expertise with industry knowledge making every session meaningful. They are approachable and encourage open dialogue which makes learning engaging beyond lectures. What stands out in their methodology is the balance between conceptual clarity and practical exposure through group projects case studies and guest lectures.

Diverse university and fun student life.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should know that it offers a supportive and diverse learning environment. The transition was smooth, although I experienced a cultural shift in teaching methods and campus interactions, which helped me personally and academically.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive. The faculty in my department are very accessible, always open to clarifying doubts and encouraging one-on-one discussions. Their teaching methodology is unique, as it combines practical case studies.
Dislikes (Public transportation): While the campus is reasonably connected to the city, there are some limitations. Buses and trains are available but schedules can be consistent and certain are require multiple transfers. Public transport moderate affordable but speak hours can be crowded.

Scholarships are dependent on the course and your academic record.
Tips: Be prepared for some cultural adjustments. Scholarships are dependent on the course and your academic record. Some courses offer scholarships to strong students. I am satisfied with my course and the college. Ireland is a very safe and welcoming country.
Likes (Safety): I have never felt unsafe on campus. It's a welcoming environment, and everyone is treated equally, regardless of their country of origin. Irish people are very welcoming and UCD has students from almost every country treating everyone well.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I find food to be quite expensive. However, there are many options available, including several Indian restaurants. Personally, I prefer home cooked meals so I cook most of the time. I can find everything I need at affordable prices in stores like Tesco and Aldi.

MSc Information Systems program doesn't include an integrated internship, unlike other courses.
Tips: Be prepared to embrace a diverse, multicultural environment. Stay open to new experiences and be accepting. UCD offers scholarships based on academic merit for my course they range from €8,000 to €1,000. I am very satisfied with the course.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus has an extensive road network. The 39a bus runs 24/7, and the S6 and S4 buses also operate within the campus. While the college is a bit outside the city centre, transportation to and from the college is good.
Dislikes (Internships): The MSc Information Systems program doesn't include an integrated internship unlike other courses. While the college organises career events I didn't find them particularly helpful. Ultimately securing an internship is the student's responsibility but the UCD Career Network provides useful information.

There isn't much assistance available for finding internships.
Tips: It's a very diverse campus with friendly staff. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of teaching and staff overall. However, the course I took wasn't well-structured. As it was also for students without an IT background, it was quite basic to start with. There was more theory knowledge than practical application.
Likes (Safety): Very safe, and it's possible to walk around even late at night. There are guards at all major bus stops across the university after peak hours, and the same is true across the city. The luas have security and ticket checkers to ensure passenger safety and maintain discipline.
Dislikes (Internships): There isn't much assistance available for finding internships. Students need to search and apply independently. The college does have processes in place to review CVs, offer feedback, and conduct interview practice sessions. However, even securing an appointment is difficult, and it's easier for students in the Belfield campus compared to Smurfit.

Academically demanding but practically rewarding.
Tips: UCD is a reputable university, and students who are coming for my course should consider having enough savings to survive for a minimum of 3 months because the starting 1st semester will be too hectic and you won't have time to work part-time. I did not avail of any scholarships. No one in my course got any scholarships. I am very much satisfied with my course, university and country.
Likes (Safety): There are boards displaying that bullying is offensive, and everyone here is friendly. There are lots of different societies here where you can easily reach out for help. There is a student union as well, where we can select someone as the president, and they later try to solve any problems we have. The city is against racism, and people here are friendly.
Dislikes (Internships): There are some opportunities available, but not a lot for our course. UCD offers proper internships to computer science negotiated learning students. It is student-driven; we have to find internships on our own from the career website of UCD. The available internships are relevant to my field of study.

Great course and college; high efforts needed.
Tips: Students should be ready for self learning and high living costs. Transition was smooth, but it takes time, and it is culturally different with classes being more interactive, and a lot of self-preparation and learning is required. I didn't get the scholarship, but it is available for some particular courses. Overall, I am satisfied with the course, university and life in Ireland.
Likes (Indian Food): There are plenty of Indian food options available, from casual takeaways to proper dine-in restaurants. In the area, you can find Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern and European restaurants. Pricing varies as a quick meal or takeaway is 10-15 Euros per person, whereas takeaway is 15-25 euros. I usually prefer cooking for myself as it is more cost-effective.
Dislikes (Internships): While the university provides good guidance for preparing applications, the responsibility to search for and apply for internships falls on the student. Courses that have internships as a mandatory part of their curriculum receive more structured support compared to others that get less direct help. There are a lot of internships relevant to my field of study, but they are very competitive, so securing one depends heavily on individual effort.

Dublin is an expensive place, and accommodation struggles are real.
Tips: Students should know that Ireland, especially Dublin, is an expensive place and accommodation struggles are real. So plan everything carefully. Moreover, it's important to be proactive in networking in your class and beyond as many opportunities in Ireland come through connections or referrals. The transition was a mix of adjustment and excitement. Academically, the structure was more discussion- and research based, which is very different from what we are used to in India. Culturally, Irish people are usually a bit loud, informal and often friendly, which took a little time to get used to. I am quite satisfied; it gave exposure to a global peer group and provided a strong academic foundation. My course aligned with my interests. Ireland is a safe and easy-to-navigate country for students.
Likes (Indian Food): All types of raw ingredients available in Ireland are also commonly found in India. There are plenty of Indian stores and restaurants catering to specific Indian taste buds and for preparing meals. The usual pricing is 10 euros per person if eating out. I preferred making my meals at home.
Dislikes (Value for money): The course material basically their modules can be easily studied online or at another college for less money. The course doesn't cover any technical aspects of Scrum, nor does it offer free certifications like PRINCE, which are often required for PM jobs.

The faculty are extremely warm, approachable, and adaptable to assessments and teaching methods.
Tips: Moving to Dublin can be expensive, and a part-time job is often necessary for financial comfort, especially if you don't want to rely on your parents. Be aware that the Western academic structure is somewhat different, emphasizing research and independent study and exploration.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty in my department are extremely warm, approachable, and adaptable to assessments and teaching methods. They provide one-on-one support when needed and are responsive to feedback. They are also very helpful and kind.
Dislikes (Value for money): While the university facilities are generally good, I found that towards the end of the year, many things were lacking, particularly when it came to booking and using lab rooms, which should be departmental responsibilities. Sports and food facilities are good, but there are many issues within the departments, and you wonder where the money goes.

A good place for study. Try to improve your communication skills.
Tips: If you’re joining this college, you'd better learn good English communication skills because there will be a lot of group work. You should also learn to cook. Be open to meeting new friends and, most importantly, don't work too many part-time jobs, and prioritise your school work. Try to connect and socialise with as many people as you can. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I would not immigrate to this country. Firstly, the housing price is very high here, so I would have to share a room or a house with others. Secondly, companies here prefer to hire local or European people, so I don't think I would be able to find a job. Lastly, I miss my hometown, and there are more job opportunities there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer eating at the school canteen or cooking for myself. The Confucius College on the main campus has a great Chinese restaurant with delicious, diverse food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the restaurants off campus are quite expensive, costing more than 25 euros per meal.

t's a technical university that's located in a quiet, isolated place surrounded by nice people.
Tips: Sometimes it may be frustrating with the transportation, but usually it's not an issue. People are mostly friendly and the place is nice and quiet considering it's in an isolated place. Milton Keynes is not far, so it's all good. Good, recommended for a technical university.
Likes (Safety): Cranfield University is a safe place because the university has an airport within its borders. Cars are not allowed to enter the university unless they go through the airport security checkpoint. Also, university housing is safe.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Transportation services at this university are not very good. There are no trains on campus; only buses and Uber are available. This can pose a problem when buses are cancelled or postponed. If we have something important to do, we often have to take an Uber.

Great university to study aviation and explore your potential.
Tips: The course is diverse with people from different countries. The course is well structured and the faculty are approachable and knowledgeable about the industry. All the assignments push you and make you learn about the industry and get you ready to land a full-time job in the industry. The group work gives you a chance to apply everything you learn. Scholarships are very limited for Indian students and therefore we have to pay the whole fee mostly. However, it is worth the investment. The academic experience along with the friends I have made along the way has immensely contributed to my personal growth and I look forward to becoming a part of the industry soon. In my opinion, Cranfield is one of the best places to do a course related to aviation. With its industrial connections and state-of-the-art facilities, you will surely get the best education across the globe. I am just happy that I chose to come to Cranfield instead of other choices. Make sure you make international friends, and also connect well with industrial experts you meet during the course as it will help you get a job. Be careful with your expenses and spend wisely as the UK can be a bit expensive. Be independent and ready to step out of your comfort zone. Be ready to travel by bus frequently as Cranfield is a bit away from the main city nearby and plan your shopping trips wisely to save time.
Likes (Student Life): The college is a very happening place with regular career fairs, events and course classes. All the classes are engaging and assignments are challenging. You get to be involved in a lot of group work throughout your course which helps you get international exposure. Also, Cranfield has the CSA where there are parties every Friday. Though it is small, it has a bar, lounge, a small restaurant and an arcade and billiards area inside. During stressful times, it's the place to let loose and have a good time with friends. Also, there are a lot of clubs like for example cricket and badminton clubs with a lot of Science clubs and ethnic clubs as well. On the whole, the campus is the best place to spend time and make good memories. However, Cranfield as a whole is a bit silent and isolated but with the right company, you can have a great educational and fun time.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time opportunities are available around the area in Cranfield, Cranfield Village and Milton Keynes. However, the chances of getting one are challenging and have to put in a lot of applications so it is good to take a part-time as soon as you come however, the technical courses are time-consuming and it's best to focus on the course. It would take extreme time management to shuffle between both and it might be stressful. Most part times pay the national wages.

Future Food Sustainability MSc - Batch of 2023

It was wonderful, enriching experience at Cranfield.
Tips: Cultural shift was calling professors by their names without any prefix or suffix. I received a bursary along with my offer letter. I got around 3500 GBP as a bursary. I am very satisfied with my course and I would strongly recommend the course and the university. Anyone passionate about food, agriculture or sustainability can take this course.
Likes (Indian Food): On campus there are places to eat offering multi cuisine (6-7gbp).
A lot of takeaway options are available and delivery which are on the pricier side. There are takeaway vans inside campus offering decent and affordable food. There is a local market in the city centre where all types of food at very minimal prices are available. Mostly I used to cook, occasionally eating out or taking delivery.
Dislikes (Internships): There is career centre which keeps updating about jobs and opportunities available. They help in correcting and improving CV and resume, and preparing for interviews. There are internships relevant to my course. However, the schedule is so tight it's difficult to do an internship along with the course work and part time job.

Advanced Mechanical Engineering PGCert - Batch of 2024
Offered by Cranfield University
2.9
Academically oriented, multi-cultural and research focused university.
Tips: The transition is not that difficult. This is a multi-cultural community. The scholarships are a bit of a tough ask and the prospective students should search for options other than university to secure a scholarship. Overall, the university is good.
Likes (Public transportation): The buses and cab service is good. The campus is located in between Bedford, the old city and Milton Keynes, a new and hustling city centre connected by buses that usually ply hourly via the campus bus stop. In addition, the national coachway is just a few kilometres away from where the buses depart for every major city and airport in UK.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The immigration rules are getting tougher and the companies seem to be hesitant to offer sponsorship. Moreover, there seems to be a sort of saturation in the market. There are career fairs organised by the careers team and also frequent Webinars with industry people, though it is not a straightforward hiring process. It is just an interaction with the people from the industry.

Okayish University, Not that great but better than many.
Tips: For people who are adventurers, this university is not your cup of tea. You will meet a lot of people initially but due to course, all will be busy with their job applications, thesis, and projects. For my course M.Sc. in Advanced Mechanical Engineering I am utterly dissatisfied as my projects are entirely based on only literature review and no lab even after paying 22 lakhs only for tuition fee. This university is a good place only for some courses and the QS university rankings for this course are not even related to what's being taught here. I still don't know how was this university ranked 27 in the world for Mechanical Engineering subject wise. Honestly speaking if anyone wants to come to the UK in this year and next year, please rethink it, as the fee has tremendously increased and I personally felt it is not worth paying that much for this university or any other university apart from some top university in the world.

Join this university only you're financially stable and if you can give your 100% in academics.
Tips: The only mistake I made and you all should be aware of before coming to UK is book your accommodation as early as possible and always ask the land lord to provide wriiten documents for the same. Apart from this, it was quite easy for me to adapt with everything. Keep in mind that you should avoid bringing lot many winter cloths as they won't be of much use. You can easily purchase waterproof winter jackets and boosts from TESCO, not to expensive.
Likes (Safety): If you're planning to stay in-campus then you can be positive about campus security as university is few smiles away from the main town and is covered with CCTV cameras all around. Also, computing is easy and safe because city buses are available in every 10 minutes. You can always purchase e-tickets.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is very difficult to do any kind of part time job as the schedule of university is very hectic. Even in your free time you will get alot assignments and presentations to work on. Also, in my case things were very different as it was pandemic situation and most of the classes were shifted from classroom to zoom link.

College is reputable but it is situated outside the city, so student life is not that happening.
Tips: Fees is high and getting part time is not easy. As soon you reach here search for part time even in Milton keynes preferably. For M.Sc. in finance and management course, internship will be provided to top 10 students but that will not be a paid internship. Also, top 10 students will get scholarship for CFA Exam. Basically in term 1, focus on getting higher rank. Networking is the key to land a job. Don't come here thinking that it is a high rank college so you will get a job.
Likes (Safety): Campus is safe. I have seen people coming from part time late at night. The last bus service is around 11 pm. Girls roam around the campus even at 2 AM. There are many students that say they feel comfortable on campus. Milton Keynes is also safe. Bedford is not safe at night. So avoid roaming in Bedford.
Dislikes (Value for money): Tuition fee is high. Last year it was 25000 pounds approximately but for the year 2022-2023, they have increased to 32000 pounds. With current market situation and recession going on in United Kingdom, it is not easy to get full time job. Also, prices of on-campus accommodation are relatively high as compared to other universities.

Tips: One of the best universities in UK for aerospace. It is Europe's first university that has its own airport. The campus has a friendly and cooperative environment. It is one of the best university with state of the art facilities. The university has industrial collaborations with other companies.

Cranfield is a prestigious institution
Tips: It is a great University. Academically oriented. It is located in a village. So public transport and connectivity are not very reliable. Part time opportunities are available within the 10-mile radius. It's ideal to have a car or cycle to reliably commute to work. The academics are very intense and serious. Institution is very respected. The course will require your full attention. There are sports and cultural activities. The student crowd is very international. Try to book campus stay early as the budget options fill out early. The rent will vary from 420 to 850 per month. Outside rent is similar. There is a cost of living hike in UK now. To conclude, Cranfield is a postgraduate only study focused university. Scholarships are available but you should enquire with the department. It's a prestigious institution located in a green landscape.
Likes (Safety): It is an isolated place away from city or any other crowd. Most crowds are mature students. The paths are well-lighted. Fire alarms and regular maintenance services also help. Bus services that are there from morning 5.30 to 11 30 pm are also helpful
.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There are UNO buses to connect the village with city of MK and Bedford. But they are very unreliable as services are cancelled very frequently. It affects part time jobs. Even cab services like Bolt and Uber are rare to find. Available skyline services are very expensive. Having their own vehicle is highly recommended.

It is more concentrated about Research and development study, rather than general academics.
Tips: Students must have some technical knowledge about basic software and know about their course and modules before starting of the course. I received a scholarship and it was part of the tuition fee. I am satisfied with my overall journey here as I got what I expected before joining the university.
Likes (Internships): It has very good industrial connections and much reputed in terms of research and development. Search for internships should be done by yourself, and faculty can help in this as they have good connections. But there will be some available individual research project options, which you can select them on your interest.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university is located in a village, so it is bit hard to get part time work. There will be some availability in near towns. Managing part time is very difficult as we have classes for five days of the week and since it is a 12 months course, it is very tightly packed.

Cranfield University focuses on academics
Tips: It's in a remote village and transportation is a bit difficult. The Uni focuses on academics a lot and is a good place to be if your first priority is academics. The Uni has tied up with many companies and you can get group projects sponsored by companies. People from a lot of countries and cultures can be found here. The taught modules for SATM will be completed in 4 months and 1 module will be completed in 1 week. Please don't think they will spoon feed you. You will have to do your own research. The Uni have very good resources if you are interested in exploring and researching. Its in a village so there are not many things to do around. Most of the professors have industry experience.

It doesn't provide quality education. Don't believe the rankings.
Tips: According to me, you should not come to this university. All the rankings you see are only good with research and not with the quality of studies. You should not believe in rankings. Better to go with Coventry or Warwick.
Likes (Safety): Safety is not an issue in the United Kingdom. The university is in the middle of nowhere but even though there are securities who come on rounds at night, not many cases of theft or security issues have been reported. The accommodation safety is within the occupants' hands.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Teaching quality is not good here. Teachers don't have any idea about explaining things in an understandable way. They just read out the PowerPoint and finish within their given 1 week of time for the module which is not even sufficient to cover a topic in the module.

Overall experience at Cranfield University is great and one of a kind experience.
Tips: Cranfield is a peaceful and quiet place. It might not be as busy as even major cities in India. Food is something that you will miss rest everything is manageable. The country is good enough but it will be more difficult to find jobs because of the inflation. Do your research before choosing the course. University offers you the help you need but it is in the end so it is based on your patience and luck. I have not availed of any scholarships. I work part-time to manage expenses.
Likes (Public transportation): UNO bus services are of great help. But sometimes they cancel without prior notice. There were instances where trains were cancelled without any notice and we had to come back. Storms are common which leads to the cancellation of trains and buses. Even strikes and holidays lead to the delay.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Prices are quite high but you find decent places to eat Indian food. You can try out other food in places nearby. Groceries are a bit expensive if you compare them with prices in India but after some time you'll stop comparing and get used to the prices here. Cooking is a better option economically.
