The college is very student-friendly and ambitious.
Tips: Before joining UWS, students should know that it offers a supportive learning environment with practical industry exposure, though it is important to manage coursework and personal time well. My transition was smooth due to the friendly campus community, but adapting to a more independent study style and Scottish culture took some time. I received a merit-based scholarship, which was very helpful. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university, my MBA course, and the welcoming environment Scotland offers to international students.
Likes (Public transportation): The UWS campus is well-connected by trains, buses, and local transport, making travel within the city and nearby areas easy. Public transportation is reliable, frequent, affordable, and student-friendly, offering convenient options that suit most schedules and budgets.
Dislikes (Internships): UWS typically does not offer guaranteed internships as part of most postgraduate programs. Some courses may include work-related learning or placement options, but internships are not always a built-in feature and often depend on the course and the student's initiative.

Keele University: The best years of my life.
Tips: It was an amazing degree and experience. I gained so many new friends and connections and would not be connected with so many people anywhere else as compared to Keele University. The people I have met, the lectures I have had, and the overall environment are one of a kind. There are lots of diverse events and activities happening all over the campus. The faculty are helpful and understanding, and you can reach out to them. Students should try to participate in activities and build connections.
