Tasmania has limited options and career prospects.
Tips: You will have to make your own opportunities. Engage better, go out and make friends.
You can learn a lot of things but only by making an effort on your own, no one is going to spoon feed or hold your hand.
People are surely welcoming, engage with people from different cultural backgrounds and explore.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Tasmania has limited options and career prospects but an amazing scope to get residency. The rules in Tasmania are pretty easy going. However you have to be very careful and particular about the course you are planning on doing. Not only this, but you also have to be intentional about learning.
Dislikes (Student Life): Normally we did not have college every single day, which made it a bit hard to socialise. But the perk was of practical skill based assessment tasks. The campus is in the city which did not let me enjoy a complete and collaborative environment.
There are a lot of clubs and societies you can be a part of.

Tips: The university has a very practical approach towards the students, if you're looking for practical learning this is the university to go to. The faculty is very welcoming and students will feel like they are at home also the teaching period isn't long probably three days a week so a person can work as well as study simultaneously.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teaching faculty is very diverse and very well educated along with this they are very professional and helpful towards all of the students. Teaching faculty will help you learn theoretical things practically so the students are ready to work in the field as soon as they graduate.
Dislikes (Internships): Opportunities are widely available via the student placement cell, the university is very helpful in suggesting and providing for available opportunities. The university has a very good industrial reputation and it prepares the students for the future, it'll help in every aspect of your professional career.
