Tasmania has limited options and career prospects.
Tips: You will have to make your own opportunities. Engage better, go out and make friends.
You can learn a lot of things but only by making an effort on your own, no one is going to spoon feed or hold your hand.
People are surely welcoming, engage with people from different cultural backgrounds and explore.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Tasmania has limited options and career prospects but an amazing scope to get residency. The rules in Tasmania are pretty easy going. However you have to be very careful and particular about the course you are planning on doing. Not only this, but you also have to be intentional about learning.
Dislikes (Student Life): Normally we did not have college every single day, which made it a bit hard to socialise. But the perk was of practical skill based assessment tasks. The campus is in the city which did not let me enjoy a complete and collaborative environment.
There are a lot of clubs and societies you can be a part of.

Big buildings, big campus; more opportunities needed in collaboration for international community.
Tips: The cultural shift is as equal as it can be in any other university in Germany. The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is a great option for those who love spending time at their own pace. I don't have any leverage on the scholarship part because I applied without a scholarship. But the university provides, and you can be lucky to win them. The course is moderate to me, though the opportunities aren't enough to support a side or long-term hustle.
Likes (Safety): This locality is safe at any time of day. I feel safe travelling here late at night or early in the morning. The city has a good safety rating. Compared to other big cities in Germany, where it seems there are a lot of homeless people and drunk people, thankfully, the number of these types of unwanted people is low here.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The university is in a German town, close to a city in the Netherlands. The locals are either very young or old, and things are very calm and quiet, with plenty of space for people who like to live at their own pace. This is in contrast to big cities in Germany, where everything is busier and more expensive.
