Delay in CBSE Result 2022: Impact on students preparing for study abroad

The delay in CBSE class 12 board exam results 2022 has created confusion among study abroad aspirants. The delay in board results will affect students who are planning to go for fall 2022 which starts in September every year. Students who are planning to go to Canada, the UK, and other European countries have not been able to apply for visas.

While the IB board has declared its results, students from CBSE and CISCE the two most popular education boards have not done it yet.  Few universities in Canada have waived the class 12 board results and processed admissions based on the predicted scores. However, UK universities are still demanding the class 12 results. Even after getting the results, it takes almost a month to process the student visa. In this scenario, students may miss the session starting in August. 

Countries that are affected more by delayed results

UK and Canadian universities usually provide conditional offers as candidates need to obtain a certain percentage to gain admission here. Also, after getting results candidates need to apply for the visa along with the mark sheet and offer letter. So, applicants are facing challenges because of the delay in getting the results.

AS per the CBSE officials, the Class XII results are expected only in the last week of July. As per reports, the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan said on 16th July 2022 that "There is no delay in the CBSE result. CBSE exams were going on till June 15. After that, checking takes 45 days. I spoke with CBSE (officials) yesterday only and the results will come on time."

CBSE Exam 2022: Important Dates

CBSE has not confirmed any date for the declaration of the CBSE 10th and 12th class results yet. Even parents have also started demanding CBSE to at least declare an official notification about the result date. As students are not able to plan for anything for the future. However, CBSE officials have not said anything in this regard. Also, there is a possibility that CBSE may declare class 10th and class 12th results together.

Once the results are out, students can check their CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) results online or they can check their results in their respective schools.
