dMAT Exam Fees for APS in India 2026
Before moving on to learning the dMAT exam fee - let’s make this one thing clear: not all Indian students who are willing to go to Germany for a master’s degree have to pay the dMAT exam fee. The fee is applicable only for those students whose bachelor’s degree falls in the list of affected courses. So, only those students who are required to take the dMAT exam must pay the fee. You may also check the list of students who are exempted from taking the dMAT Exam.
So, the dMAT Exam Fee in India is EUR 150 or around INR 16,405 as per the current exchange rate of 1 EUR = INR 109.37. Your dMAT exam fee is refundable under certain circumstances when you’re not able to take the exam on the concerned date, but you must officially notify the test centre beforehand. To cancel your test and get a refund, you must officially communicate to your test centre within 14 days of registering for the test. In that period, you do not need to explain your reason for cancelling your exam appointment.
Note that the registration process of the dMAT exam is completely administered by g.a.s.t. and not APS India. So, Indian students must visit https://www.d-mat.de/en/ to book a dMAT exam slot.
How to Make Payment?
All payments towards the dMAT exam fee are to be made online. However, in certain strong exceptional cases, the fee can also be paid at the test centre.
APS Certificate Processing Fee in India 2026
The APS Certificate processing fee is something you pay directly to APS India. Please note that students required to take the dMAT exam must complete the exam first. The result from your exam must then be attached to your APS application form.
The APS India verification fee is INR 18,000. This fee is non-refundable regardless of the decision on your application. You can pay it online via the CCAvenue portal or transfer it to the designated Kotak Mahindra Bank account. Below are the account details to which you have to transfer the amount.
