Step 1: Visit IELTS official website

Step 2: Create your profile and log on to your account

Step 3: Select the option 'Register for test'

Step 4: Select your preferred test - computer-delivered IELTS or paper-based IELTS

Step 5: Choose your test type - IELTS Academic or (IELTS General Training)

Step 6: Select your preferred IELTS test center, exam date, and IELTS exam slot

Step 7: Upload a scanned colour copy of your passport

Step 8: Pay the IELTS test fee using a credit card

Book the slot for the Speaking test online on your preferred date and time. If you won't be able to book the slot within the available time then a time slot will be automatically allocated to you.

Step 4: The confirmation of the date and time will be sent by the IELTS test center.

Step 5: Also note that the speaking test will be conducted on a separate date within 7 days of registering for the IELTS test.
