IULM University: Courses, Admission, Cost

Established in 1968, IULM University - Milan is based in Milan, Italy. It was renamed the IULM University of Languages and Communication in 1998 which reflects its teaching in languages and communication. IULM University offers six three-year degree courses - Interpreting and Communication, Corporate Communication and Public Relations, Communication, Media and Advertising; Tourism, Management and Territory; Arts, Media, Cultural Events; and Fashion and Creative Industries.

Founded to offer training in the fields of languages and communication, IULM has gained excellence in areas of tourism and the enhancement of cultural heritage. IULM offers a comprehensive range of educational programs including three-year degree courses, Master's degree courses, numerous university post-graduate courses, and post-experience courses. IULM also offers one and two-year postgraduate degree courses and research doctorates. Further, the university's academics have been divided into three faculties Faculty of Communication, the Faculty of Interpreting and Translation, and the Faculty of Arts and Tourism.

The IULM University campus includes a study centre with all the modern teaching facilities. Apart from this, it also includes a research institute, an auditorium, and a hall of residence. IULM University offers Bachelor Programs in Interpreting and Communication, Corporate Communication and Public Relations; Communication, Media and Advertising; Tourism, Management and Territory; Arts, Media, Cultural Events; and Fashion and Creative Industries.

IULM offers Master's Degree Courses in Specialised Translation and Conference Interpreting; Marketing, Consumption and Communication; Strategic Communication, Artificial Intelligence for Business and Society; Television, Cinema and New Media; Hospitality and Tourism Management; and Arts, Valorisation and Markets. IULM University focuses on research and offers Research doctorates in Visual and Media Studies; and Communication, Markets and Society.

IULM University’s notable alumni include Eni Vasili (Journalist), Andrea Radrizzani (Chairperson of Premier League football club Leeds United), Melissa Satta (Italian television presenter), Giorgia Surina (Italian TV personality), and Nina Zilli (Italian singer-songwriter).
